Poor communication. No detailed explanation of documents needed prior to Rocket requests. No detailed explanation of entire process in advance. Dehumanized approach to lending. Some staff were condescending and detached from the experiences of the client.
Instructions to prepare us were clear and accurate. All went smoothly and as planned.
Our entire mortgage refinancing was quick and efficient. Our mortgage closer, Chris Mott, was punctual, friendly and thorough. It was a positive experience overall.
Our mortgage banker (who we loved) was on vacation and we had his closing team assist us and they were unable to answer a few questions and we had to get our realtor involved who had to talk to many people to get things corrected. It was frustrating. I wish there was not a handoff to multiple people after speaking with the mortgage banker it leaves too much room for error and lacks continuity.
Every person that helped me went over and above in their efforts to help me get this mission completed. They were lifesavers and I am extremely grateful. Special thanks goes to Selena DelGado. She's the best.

Excellent closing but the way they sold our phone numbers and address information afterwards should be illegal! It is months later and despite calling and asking them to stop it .... the calls and mail continue to pour in!
It occasionally got confusing, paperwork/task didn't always clear in a timely manner. It would show still had task that had already been completed
Everyone is so respectful and knowledgeable in their field. If I had a question and they didn’t know the answer, they would always figure it out and call me back.
The closing was smooth and the person that closed it was very polite. Also the people there are very friendly and knowledgeable

This was a second time I tapped into the equity of my home to make improvements and repairs. (June '25 - repaid Feb. '26) The process was fast, easy and very accommodating to cover said expenses.
The process was completed quickly as promised. Each area was explained in detail. The closing process was exceptional, completed in less than 30 minutes.
It took several tech support phone calls to get the documents to show up on my computer. Im not sure this is any better than actually going to a title company and signing myself. I live in the city, so I could easily get to a place to sign, someone who lives a ways away from an office that offers this service might have a different perspective.
