Web site caused me to order two of the same thing, twice. I had to order over the phone. Then my card said it was a fraudulent company. I had to use a card I didn’t want to use. Now I still haven’t received a confirmation. It’s supposed to one day delivery, but I don’t even know if it has shipped yet.
Push to Talk Switch are not included with Sigtronics Intercom
I bought a Sigtronics intercom, but it wasn’t clear from Sporty’s order page that the Push-to-Talk switches were not included. I ended up paying another $100 for international shipping. After reading through the manufacturer’s PDF manual, I had some doubts about the PTT switches not being included but didn’t check with Sporty’s beforehand. I also ordered an audio cable but accidentally selected the REMO version. I haven’t heard back yet on how to return or exchange it for the regular GA Plus version. In addition, I purchased a tie-down rope, fuel gauge stick, yoke clip, 12V USB adapter, and a few other items. By the way, Sporty’s app for the Instrument Knowledge Exam—with all its videos—is outstanding. A happy Sporty’s customer here! helipilot777@youtube

Good product selection, have some things (e.g. pilot operating handbooks) that not many other stores sell. Customer reviews seem pretty helpful overall. Unlike Amazon mass reviews for product ratings, these seem genuine, which is a big plus. Lead time on some products (e.g. certain headsets) was too long for me, but the situation is understandable. My only gripe is that I wish the product page was more explicitly saying when the product is on backorder, since I only noticed this at the last moment at the checkout page.
