On 2-16-26 Francisco Jimenez with…

On 2-16-26 Francisco Jimenez with Terminix came out and said I have a rodent problem and it will require a rodent exclusion to take care of it, I said I have rodents on my $46.01 a month plan already and was told that more was required to take care of the issue. He said they will cover all the holes where rodents can get in and clean the attic, remove the old insulation, and put in new insulation that will help repel rodents. We agreed on $3,900 and I told Francisco that I only wanted exclusion if you did the attic, I have a small attic, and he told me that it was not a problem. They came out in March using chicken wire to cover the holes and placed four traps inside my house. This was in March I work a lot so my availability is limited but I have attempted to call Francisco multiple times since March without him returning my calls, I’m on vacation this week so I’ve called him several times this week without him answering or returning my calls, I called my spray tech Pat on Sunday I think and she said she would try to contact him and have him call me about finishing the work and neither one of them contacted me. I called the Terminix office today when I failed to contact Francisco again and Luis finally called me back. Luis said that he refunded $1,900 to me back in March, which didn’t happen and he told me that upon reflection they decided that they are unable to do the work in my attic after all, but no one decided to tell me and that the chicken wire and the four traps cost me $1,000, I said I told Francisco that the entire deal was contingent on the attic and if he hadn’t told me that the attic was going to be done, then I wouldn’t have gotten the exclusion, Luis said he didn’t know what was said by Francisco, but they aren’t going to do my attic and they will just refund me $1,900. Terminix does not stand by their work, nor do they care about their customers, I have paid Terminix a lot of money over the years and I’m still paying them a lot of money, and they cannot stand by the promises they make even when they charge exorbitant prices. I do not believe Terminix had any intention of doing the work or refunding me the portion they owe me if I had not called the head office. They didn’t catch any rodents in the traps, there is evidence that I had rodents at one time, but apparently, I didn’t have any when Franciso said I needed the exclusion now I feel like I was lied to just to get almost $3,000 from me. Buyers beware if Terminix says you need a product or service, I’d get a 2nd opinion, because I was lied to just to get thousands of dollars from me and the tech that lied to me ducked and dodged me for almost two months instead of coming clean about his lies. I purchase a contract with this company…

I purchase a contract with this company in Jan2026. It has been the worst nightmare. This is in lithonia, Ga. I called for rodent inspection in Jan. Inspector said I had lizards. I purchase insect treatment. Still seeing droplets in attic. The company never schedule or correct day promised or they don’t show up or there is an appt and the person never show up. No one in manage return calls .customer service just take message no accountability by management after many complaints . I paid for the year. This company is horrible. I’m calling Clark Howard consumer affairs. Please go somewhere else. They have merged with renick. Please do not sign up. Hope they go out of business. They will reap what they sow. God will repay for their wrong.

Was quoted $99 over the phone

Was quoted $99 over the phone? When the inspection guy Alex Johnson came, he told me that we needed more stuff done and it was gonna be $3000 to tent our house or $600 to do a complete flush out. I told him we did not have those funds available, we would just like to do the base Treatment to just get something started, and he told me no they will not do that. I then told him that he could go ahead and leave and tell his technician that he is not needed. I then called the supervisor for the terminix in my area, and he told me that the inspection guy called him and told him that we was not going to go ahead with the service and explain to him why and he said that that was okay when I asked the supervisor why I was quoted one price and then told another, he said that the call center people does not know What the residents looks like so they just quote a price. I told him that all their call center people need to be retrained and he told me, yes, ma'am, I agree, well, why haven't they rrtrained everybody again? That is horrible customer service. I have worked in customer service for over 25 years. And I don't dare give customers this kind of service at all

Crawl space vapor barrier incomplete!!

Mr. Brett T. Ponton, A crawl space vapor barrier that was unprofessionally done by your company in August of 2025 is my upmost concern at this time. I have reached out to several people within the company: Michael Douglas (Pest Control Consultant), Jeffery Sargent, and Jason Grover. You would have thought someone would have been concerned enough to come see the crawl space for themselves. Many promises from customer service but no action! Supervisors and promises that someone would contact me. This has not happened yet!! I have been a customer of Terminix for quite some time. Being frustrated for the last two weeks, I am at the point that I would like a full refund of 1600.00. I would have never known of the incomplete service until I had an issue with a pipe and the conditions were seen. The Terminix installers did not remove any rocks or debris the plastic was layed on top. I am so disappointed with this lack of professionalism. Now, I wonder if the money that I have paid monthly for pests and termites inspection was done properly. I am a retired teacher on a fixed income. I really need the funds returned asap. Thanks. Respectfully, Eleanor Cornelius

Customer service experience is horrible.

I have been trying to receive a pro rata refund for a termite/pest control contract on my home. I cancelled the contract on March 13, 2026 because the home was sold to a third party on that date. I had paid $361 for a full year, which expires July 31, 2026. As a result, the unused portion of the contract or $138.47 should be refunded for services I am no longer using due to the house sale. I have had several telephone convesations with Terminix, but they have not yet agreed to refund the money. Their customer service department is woefully inadequate. You have to hold for a very long time; then the representative can't give you the answers you are seeking. She can't even connect you to the manager of the Terminix branch in question, Kelvin Wiley, even though he is listed by name at the Terminix website, with the office address of 485 Production Avenue, Suite 100, Madison, Alabama, 35758. It is taking entirely too long to get a response to my request for a refund. Based on their customer service, I would not recommend Terminix to any homeowner seeking reliable, trustworthy, termite or pest control management.

Terrible experience with Terminix

Our experience with Terminix was extremely disappointing due to inconsistent information, incomplete or miscoded services, and poor follow‑through. We were clearly told that certain services would be provided at no cost to correct earlier inspection errors, but we were later billed anyway. When we questioned the charges and pointed out discrepancies in the service records, Terminix accused us of being untruthful rather than addressing the documented issues. Multiple visits were required, yet the agreed scope of work was still not completed as represented. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to resolve clear inconsistencies made this a very frustrating experience.

A Wasted Morning and No Inspection — Terminix Refused the Service: My Terminix Experience

I recently had an appointment scheduled with Terminix for a termite inspection, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish. My wife booked the appointment without realizing it wasn’t with our usual company, BugCo, so I rearranged my morning and was late for work to be home for the inspection. When the technician, James, arrived, he immediately declined to perform the inspection because our home has a shared wall and they wouldn’t be able to sell us a termite treatment. The appointment was only for an inspection — nothing more — yet the service was refused simply because there wasn’t an opportunity for a sale. After waiting and losing work time, being turned away for that reason felt unprofessional and frustrating. This experience made it clear that Terminix prioritizes profit over service. Even a basic inspection wasn’t worth their time unless it came with a guaranteed sale. That’s not the kind of customer care homeowners should have to deal with. Because of this, I won’t be using Terminix in the future, and I can’t recommend them based on this interaction.

Never use this company

Never use this company! Terminix is a call center for local offices and they have no control over the local office. I paid the local office $750 to remove birds from a vent and when they showed up after the estimator wrote up the job he didn't even bring the ladder required. The job had to be rescheduled for a couple of days later but they did not show up or call me. I called them at the end of the day and they didn't even know the job was scheduled or not complete after the first visit. I immediately asked for a refund. It has now been 3-4 weeks later and I am still getting the run around about my refund. The main office escalates and nothing happens. I talk to someone and they say they will do something and call me back and they never do. I call them every 2 days and it is the same story. I am now reporting them to the BBB and the attorney general. This is ridiculous. Use anyone but this company. UPDATE: Terminix responded to one of my other reviews and asked me to send me all the details of the issue. I did so and have not received a response from them in 3 days and counting. I am thinking they wanted to have the appearance of resolving the issue.

Horrible company

Horrible company ! They lied when I was cancelling them, saying I couldn't cause of a "one year contract". I called them out on their BS, and still cancelled them. Then they charge me for the next month, and once I told them it was cancelled they still didn't want to refund me. So I had to call my credit card company and dispute the charge.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. They don’t show up when they’re supposed to and don’t bother to let you know they aren’t coming. Good luck calling to get it resolved because they are incredibly rude as if it’s the customer’s fault that they don’t do their jobs. A customer service rep by the name of Chris, who refused to give me his last name, was incredibly rude. He put me on hold yet was actually listening to the conversation I was having that I thought was private. They were extremely nice and reliable when they signed me up for thousands of dollars worth of services but after they got my money, that was the end of good customer service. I wouldn’t waste a cent on this service.

I was disappointed with the service I…

I was disappointed with the service I received from Terminix. This was a commercial account. Terminix was contracted to provide monthly service. I never received the service reports so I never knew if there was pest activity, what the technician did, or if new chemicals were used. When I brought this to the attention of the corporate office ( there is no local branch, So there is never a manager or anyone familiar with your property to talk to). I was sent the service reports and everyone of them was identical they looked like copies with different dates, They had the same misspelled words. The straw that broke the back is when I had them take care of a bees nest. Every time I called they made it seem like they were going to be out the next day. It took 6 weeks and 4 phone calls and emails . They never got the bees nest. I had to call another company. I fired Terminix I told them i didn't want anymore service, and they still sent me the next months bill which I refused to pay since I had fired them the month earlier for terrible service. Now we are fighting over a $118.36. I will never hire them again and I suggest you think otherwise.

From day one dealing with Terminix has…

From day one dealing with Terminix has been a nightmare. They hired a 3rd party company who blew our electricity numerous times eventually resulting in having to have an electrician come out. They left things in the attic on the floor of a bedroom and when the assistant manager of Terminix promised to put the things back he never showed. We still had mice issues probably because Terminix only came twice to address the issue and then always failed to come back. They failed to check the traps leaving possible rodents dead inside for months. The assistant manager tried to gaslight me about our prior communications but I have text proof. And the worst part was another company because of who Terminix hired tried to place a lien on my house even though Terminix was paid in full. DO NOT HIRE THEM!

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I was a loyal customer until they completed an unsolicited inspection and claimed I had subterranean termites- something I later found out I never actually had. At the time, I already had an active drywood termite contract with them. Because of this, my actual drywood termite issue went untreated for an entire year before I realized what had happened. Trying to speak with management has been incredibly frustrating. They don’t provide direct contact information and instead route everything through the main Terminix number, which makes it difficult to get real support, accountability and follow through with complaints. I’m still trying to get my money back after being misled into paying for an expensive service I didn’t need. Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience- poor customer service and a lack of transparency and honesty.

!Beware

!Beware! I recently purchased a home in a senior community in central Florida. We had the home inspected by Terminix for our VA loan. The inspection report was clean. Four months later, and I find a rat in my driveway. A week later, the inspector comes out for the routine inspection. Amazingly, a decaying rat is found in my attack. Interestingly, there were no other visible signs of any rodent activity in the house or attic. Nor, do any of the neighbors report any sightings. Not a single dropping!(The inspector even had me come up to attack to observe the carcass.) Further, the dryer duct had been ripped out. The inspector said that this was where the rats were getting in. The attack had been inspected by a whole home inspector and the vents had recently been cleaned. There were zero reports of any issues. However, the Terminix inspector insisted that the rats would shortly be eating through my roof and wiring. Of course I panicked, and called my husband who was in another state. He trusted the inspector (Salesman) and his presentation. The inspector then had be sign a hastily presented contract in my husbands name, ran his credit and had me sign my husbands signature to complete the contract. The contract was for $10, 000! We are senior citizens and are too trusting. We subsequently did a little research, and discovered that pest control companies have been running scams to trick unsuspecting home owners into expensive whole attic insulation remediation. You can’t get the local Terminix office by phone, so I drove over the next day, and had the contract rescinded. The office manager, Travis, denied that a rodent would be planted in our attic for $10K. I said that I couldn't imagine a rodent infestation with no signs of droppings. He did insist that another technician should come out to repair the dryer vent hose. I followed this individual up to the attic to where I could see. He didn’t go anywhere near the dryer vent hose but to the back of the attic. He said he could now see 30 rat tunnels and dozens of packets of rat poison. (The previous “inspector” said there was two packets of poison and no observable droppings. Suddenly, I have rat droppings.) This guy didn’t even go near the dryer vent hose and just remarked that it didn’t properly fit to begin with. This would have been reported on our home inspection. I have photos from the inspection, I can’t believe I was dumb enough to let these scammers back in my home! Undoubtedly, the second individual was there to plant the feces that didn’t exist the previous day. He now showed me evidence of a rat dropping! I’m going to have the attic inspected by a reputable company before moving forward. I thoroughly believe this company is scamming old people and planting evidence to support it. !Beware!

Attic inspection

Joseph Hatchett an inspector for Terminix Lakewood WA came out to inspect the attic on 2/16/2026. I called them because I’ve been seeing feathers on the deck and there’s also a hole in one corner of the house and it’s the first thing he looked at and told me there some rodents. So he went up the attic for few minutes and he confirmed presence of rodents. When he came down I asked if he took pictures and he showed me one photo of supposedly “rodents droppings” so I panicked. Before he left he presented me with a “contract” costing $10,094.90 and because rodents are no joke I decided to sign the contract and made the $5,000 down payment without even consulting with my husband. Luckily, just before the “grace” period I was able to cancel the contract and refunded the money. I decided to get three more companies come out and this time I could tell all the inspectors from each company went up and inspect the attic cause I could hear it in our living room, also they presented me with a LOT of pictures and none of them confirmed presence of rodents ~ its BIRDS and they even found one dead in the attic and also the screens were torn. I just can’t believed this company would do us wrong!!! I am glad that I came to my senses and decided to get few more inspections from local pests control companies.

I have been using Terminix for over a…

I have been using Terminix for over a year. About a year ago, I paid nearly $1,000 for them to seal the exterior of my Pennsylvania vacation rental to address a mouse infestation. After that, I continued paying for their monthly pest control service. Recently, my sister-in-law, who cleans the property after each guest stay, informed me that she found mouse droppings in the kitchen. I immediately contacted Terminix two weeks ago and they scheduled a service appointment for the following week. They never showed up. No phone call, no explanation. I called again and they rescheduled me for the following weekend. Once again, no one showed up and there was no communication from the company. I called a third time, and the customer service representative said they had no idea why the appointments were being canceled. They scheduled yet another appointment for next week. At this point, I truly regret not contacting another pest control company two weeks ago. I cannot rent out my vacation rental until the mice issue is resolved, which is causing me to lose bookings and income. I live in Arizona, so I cannot simply go to the property and handle traps myself. This experience has been extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, I also recently hired Terminix for costly termite treatment at my parents’ home in Arizona, which I now regret after seeing how unreliable their service has been. Very disappointing service from a company, I expected to be dependable.

Worst Company Ever

I regret to say my experience with Terminix has been extremely disappointing. First, the treatments applied by technicians did not resolve the insect problems in my home. Despite multiple service visits, the chemicals and sprays used were ineffective. In some cases, the insect activity actually increased after the service. Second, technicians frequently failed to arrive for scheduled appointments. On several occasions, I waited for hours for a technician to come to my home, only for no one to show up and with no communication from the company explaining the absence. Because of these issues, I have spent hundreds of dollars without receiving effective service or results. Even with no-shows by its technicians, the company failed to refund money I spent with them. Based on my experience, the service promised by Terminix has been unreliable and ineffective. I urge potential customers to seek pest-control service from a reputable company--not Terminix.

CUSTOMER BEWARE!!

CUSTOMER BEWARE!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID 10 years as a loyal customer and now they want to change my agreement! Chad M Adams was my rep. for my contract which started in 2015. He promised my yearly renewal fee would be at a set price every year and would not change. Now Terminix wants to change that! They do not honor their agreements. I called their 844 number and was told would receive call back, NEVER DID. Then I called their location near me, and they still did not honor agreement! I also tried their chat on their website, still not honoring what they said! This company deserves three D’s and a F for Dishonest, Disingenuous, Deceitful & Fraudulent! While the company boasts high internal satisfaction rates, public reviews frequently highlight issues with customer service, scheduling, and billing. Do your homework and choose a loyal company!

Do not use

I have had ongoing issues that have not been resolved. I've attempted to reach out to someone at corporate level via phone and email for over a week with promises of response not being carried through. Highly unprofessional, I'm extremely unsatisfied.
