About this business

Reformation began by selling vintage clothing out of a small Los Angeles storefront in 2009. We quickly expanded into making our own stuff, with a focus on sustainability. Today, we make effortless silhouettes that celebrate the feminine figure and pioneer sustainable practices, focusing on people and progress each step of the way.

Reviewers had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently praise the attractive clothing styles and note that the store staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly during visits. Many people also appreciate the prompt assistance, easy shopping process, and overall pleasant atmosphere found in the stores. However, some customers also noted that the clothing quality can be quite inconsistent, with fabrics sometimes feeling cheap, shrinking, or wearing out quickly after washing. A few other people also felt that the prices are simply too high for the actual materials and construction used in the pieces. Additionally, shoppers mentioned occasional sizing discrepancies and difficulties with returns or exchanges.

Non-polyester clothes worth the price, misrepresented ship dates are not

I love your clothes, so much though that I average at least a piece a month because the quality, granted the clothes are not made with polyester, is worth it. Customer service is always on top of things (Lauren is wonderful and I hope she is a real human). My major issue with Reformation, however, is the company consistently misrepresents ship dates on items that are back ordered, and they take AT LEAST more than a month to ship beyond what is “expected”. I have had this happen twice and I am currently in the third occurrence of it, with an expected ship date that has been altered three times. Since this has been such a regularity for me, company-wide I would have to assume based on probability it happens with other items. This is an incredibly frustrating issue Reformation needs to solve for the price of the clothes we are committing to. I am ready to move my business elsewhere when I find similar offerings.

Sent me a cheap GAP jumper with a Reformation label attached! When I reported the fraud they never followed up to explain what happened. Even if it was a return from a previous customer, quality checks should have been in place to ensure it wasn’t accepted in the first place.
