While we were already in Italy for our family vacation, in June 2026, we received an email from the Tour Guy that our tour of the Vatican and the Vatican Museum was cancelled. We had purchased the Vatican tour way in advanced as the Vatican and the museum have huge entry lines. They did not assist us in obtain options nor did they provide us with information as to other companies that could provide the tours. As the lines to enter were several hours long for the Vatican and no available general admission to the museum, we were forced to overpay another company on the spot. We did get in without waiting and the tour was very good; but expensive. We will never use the Tour Guy as it is not reliable.

June in Rome was an exceptionally challenging month due to sudden ticketing policy changes imposed by the site, which severely impacted tour operators citywide. While this cancellation was completely outside our control, we know how frustrating it is to lose a reservation made well in advance. We immediately processed a full refund for your tour and sent over notification regarding the cancellation, though we regret that alternative options were limited during such a peak period. We appreciate your honest feedback as our Operations Manager works continuously to strengthen our booking availability and communication under changing site conditions.
I honestly thought it was going be too much food, but it was just spot on! I absolutely loved the experience and Scirin, the tour lady, was a great, so friendly. I loved everything from the beginning to end. I would 100% recommend it. Feel like I wouldn’t have met Florence as well if I hadn’t do it, so I am glad I did. Thanks!

We did two tours with Tour Guy, one of the Colesseum and one of Murano and Burano. Both were fantastic. Claudia was very energetic and took care that we experienced what was available in both places as well as places in between. I liked hearing from a real Venician and getting away from the cramped chaos of Venice for an afternoon!

Erturk was an absolutely incredible guide for us today on our tour. It was near 38 degrees and he did an incredible job at moving us around from shaded area to shaded area to keep us as cool and comfortable as possible. All the while, he was extremely knowledgeable and fun to learn from, but also fun to spend time with!

We did the Rome in a Day Tour with the Colosseum and Vatican Museums, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip, thanks to our incredible guide, Erturk.
From the very beginning, everything was well organized and ran smoothly. Erturk is exceptionally knowledgeable and shared the history of each site in a way that was engaging, informative, and easy to follow. He brought ancient Rome to life with fascinating stories and details that we would have completely missed if we had explored on our own.
What impressed us the most was how attentive he was to the group. Despite having many people on the tour, he somehow remembered everyone’s names, which made the experience feel much more personal. It was clear that he genuinely cared about the people he was guiding, not just getting through the itinerary.
Another thoughtful touch was that whenever he stopped to explain something, he always made sure the group was standing in the shade instead of under the hot Roman sun. It’s a small detail, but it showed how considerate and experienced he is. Throughout the day, he kept everyone together, answered every question with enthusiasm, and made sure no one felt left behind.
A full-day tour of Rome can be overwhelming, but Erturk made it enjoyable from start to finish. If you’re considering this tour, I highly recommend requesting him if possible. My parents are in their eighties and they advised me that the trip to Rome would probably be their last. I wanted to do everything that I could to ensure that it was a trip that they would remember forever. I booked a semi-private golf cart tour of Rome and the morning of it turned out that besides the driver Cristiano, it was only me and my parents. We had a private tour! Cristiano made us feel like royalty and showed us everything in three hours. It seemed like there wasn’t an inch of Rome that we didn’t cover. If you need to book a tour The Tour Guys is the best! I booked them for this tour and the semi-private tour of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. I would definitely recommend to everyone and use them over and over again!
