I like that it’s not a subscription and you can customize some of the meals. My husband and I tried the meals also and they were good. Next level good. And because they come frozen you just need to pull out the ones you want for the next day.
I was happy with my experience and the food except that it wasn't clear when the food would be delivered. I would have liked more communication such as "order received", "estimated delivery", "out for delivery", and finally "delivered". I was sending this as a gift to a friend who just had a baby and I was not sure when she would receive it until she texted me to thank me.
The website is easy to navigate. Good selection of foods. I LOVE that i can change starch or veggies East to prepare. Even though they are in plastic contains it is no problem at all to heat in oven. I place the container on a cookie sheet .. don't remove the plastic top wrap. Cook following directions. The shipping is very good. I make sure that i order when i only have 7 meals left . I am amazed at how quickly it is shipped considering you can modify one or all your meals. For me it is plenty of food. I am still hungry i will make a salad or bowl of fresh fruit. I have been using this service for over two years
I've ordered Top Chef Meals for several years, and am rarely disappointed. I'm particularly happy about not having to order on a set schedule. I've narrowed my list of favorites after trying many of their offerings and hope they always keep those favs on the menu!

Food good delivery issue But worth it
I enjoy the food a lot but not happy I can not pick the sides I want with each meal. I never eat spinach or zucchini, which were automatically included in the meat loaf and filet mignon meals
We have been ordering meals from Top Chefs Meals. They are convenient, the portions are just right, and they are well balanced and nutritious.
Even with customization, my orders have always been 100% accurate. I have been using Top Chef for nearly 3 years, and the meals are consistently good and well-portioned. There are a few meals I would not order again but that's more a matter of personal taste rather than any lack of quality.

The delivery was perfect. The meals, were, however were very small and served in plastic dishes, making oven heating an ordeal.

FedEx fails again. I live on the 3rd floor of a condo. I am 72 and a cancer patient. It is not easy for me to carry the box up the. stairs.. I have filled out the section of the order form to have the box delivered upstairs. The delivery instructions are posted on the box. Many times FedEx has left the box on the first floor , a few times blocking the steps. One time, I had to drive around town, found the driver to have him come back and bring it up the steps. It has been a week since Top Chefs posted a ticket acknowledging the issue but no update. I do not know if FedEx has been notified, if the driver has been spoken to to, etc.i receive packages from all the delivery services and they all bring the packages to my door.
I order the omelet breakfast and the last few orders have hardly been omelettes. Little if any bacon in them. Just call them eggs. Thanks

I have purchased Top Chef meals many, many times. Because of the great taste I will keep reordering. The only thing the menu lacks is the very small selection of vegetarian meals. I do wish they woud alowl me to create vegetables meal platteres from their existing list of veggies. Samuel Reed

I like the choices, specifically Extra Protein and eliminating carbs to swap for more vegetables. I do not like that Renal meals have been discontinued but I'm not sure the market was large enough to sustain. I also like that there are standard meals and seasonal for variety.
