I liked the check in process, the free water and the drop off location (penn station since I was headed for the train) I took another bus company home (hint another busline named after an animal) since I traveling from Albany and I will always take Vamoose from now on

Vamoose bus gives the best service,from when you get on the bus either in MD or N.Y. The staff that takes care of your luggage to the person who takes your name.A 1 service!!!!. The buses are also aways clean and comfortable.

Vamoose has always been our choice when commuting from NYC to DC and back. The ride is comfortable. The drivers exhibit a high level of safety while driving. I've take this bus plenty of time. Never have I had a problem. We get to the destination always when they say we will or earlier. They are very nice gentlemen that help with the bags and drive the bus. Great overall. I would suggest just stronger wifi because even with the small things like checking the email it takes entirely too long. Other then that PERFECT !!
Wifi never works
I've been taking trips to New York City on Vamoose bus for over five years. The staff is very dependable, the drivers outstanding, and the WiFi access is great, too! I love how you can earn free tickets! And occasionally I splurge and take the Gold Bus for a couple of dollars more! I live within walking distance of a Greyhound Bus Station that goes to NY City, but I will travel the extra 3 miles just to ride the Vamoose clean and professional bus. Love Vamoose!
My neighbor had an upsetting experience on the 4PM bus Friday 17 July from NYC to Betheseda.. The driver was nodding off and caught himself several times. My driver was alert and excellent on the 2:30 PM on Friday 24 July from NYC to Bethesda.
I haven't had any unpleasant experience with vamoose so far. The staff are consistent in dealing with clients .the buses are clean definitely and comfortable to ride on. I recommend vamoose to my friends and relatives . The bus fares are affordable.
very good service, and mostly courteous customer service. One driver was rude to another customer sitting in front of me as she was parking the bus for a driver change, and the driver on the way back seemed to get turned around heading back through Jersey City into NYC. But in total, everything was just fine.
The bus was smaller than I expected on the ride to New York. On the way from New York it was a larger bus. On each trip the bus was clean and the drivers were very good. The hardest part in Roslyn is where and how to line up. There is no one there to assist until the bus pulls in. In New York there are attendants right there no matter how early you are and ensure you line up correctly. I used the rest room on the smaller bus and it was pretty much what I expected. I did not even check it on the ride back. The bus ran pretty close to time in both directions. A nice inexpensive way to travel.
I recommend this company to anyone who wants to travel from NY to Bethesda, it's a very comfortable bus with wifi service included.
The bus driver was very curt and mean to all bus riders when singling out several times 1 person's cell phone ringer volume (person understood very little English so did not know to silent ringer) and others standing to remove items from the overhead. AC was very cold on route to NYC and no one wanted to say anything for fear of being yelled at or other. The bus' bathroom had no toilet paper and flush broken.
Very convenient, comfortable and quick service. Definitely will use it again.
I have always been a fan of Vamoose. I have been using them since 2005 when they stopped in Tenleytown. I tried others (Greyhound, Mega, Bolt, Washington Deluxe) when the fare wars began. I sacrificed a lot for a small difference in price. The scheduling is perfect for me, as is the locations both in NYC (near Penn)and Bethesda (closer to Rockville and I don't have to take Metro from Union). The bus almost always leaves on time and drivers and baggage handlers are courteous.

Your picture and text on your website promise plush, large, tan leather seats that look very inviting! Unfortunately, this was not the case. We sat in standard sized cloth seats both up and back on our Gold Bus trip that begun in Bethesda at 8 AM on Saturday the 18th of July and ended with our return from NYC at 4 PM on Monday the 20th of July The number of seats on the Gold Bus compared to regular service was as advertised - was accurate and the timing of the trip was as advertised and the driver was courteous and professional in all regards. The wireless was adequate and worked fine. Overall, the trip was fine but the seating was definitely not as advertised and not worth the premium price we paid
After having been a vamoose bus rider for years, I finally shelled out the extra 20 or so for the Gold Bus and loved it. So much more leg room. Seats themselves so comfortable. Can't say that about the regular his, they seem to have gotten more cramped. I will always choose the Gold now and wish there were more times available.
