What reviewers say
AI generated
Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently encountered persistent internet disruptions, extremely slow connection speeds, and unexpected service drops throughout the entire duration of their broadband contract. Many people also experienced billing complications, including unexpected charges, hidden fees, and rigid renewal terms that caused financial frustration.
Some reviewers were not happy with the unhelpful customer support and excessively long delays when attempting to get technical assistance for faulty equipment. However, some people mentioned that resolving any problem was nearly impossible due to unresponsive agents and automated responses that provided zero practical solutions.

Very, very ugly experience.
Had an old unit due for replacement. Support kept insisting things on their end looked “fine” while I was completely without service. Promised next-day replacement — then suddenly changed the story and pushed it again. Whole day stuck on mobile data because they couldn’t get their act together.
Cheap plan or not, basic competence and communication shouldn’t be optional. This whole process has been frustrating, slow, and honestly feels like talking to a script instead of real support.
Totally killed my confidence in their service.
The worst customer service I ever experienced! The wifi is always lagging! Poor network! Regret changing to this internet service provider! Worst lousy ISP!
Switching to ViewQwest Experience was TERRIBLE for me
I switched to ViewQwest, and got a bill shock with some unwanted services that I did not subscribe to, and a speaker that I was no aware of, the bill amounting to over $500. I called to their hotline and spoke to a service rep. indicating that the speaker is still wrapped - pristine and I offered to return it and was told someone will get back to me. I have also submitted a support ticket the same day. No one called back to me after 5 days, and I had to call in again after 5 days, but still without satisfactory resolution. Its unbelievable.
I wish I hadn't signed up. It's not a real service, it goes down A LOT. You can not rely on the connection.
And once you've signed, you can't leave. It's like they want to push society back into the 80s.
I'm literally using my Mobil network provider to write this, because VQ have been down for 11 hours straight.
Unethical Billing & Contract Practices – Debt Collection Without Consent
I had a very troubling experience with ViewQwest.
After completing my 24-month broadband contract (fully paid), ViewQwest unilaterally scheduled a new subscription in their system without my knowledge or consent. I did not update my credit card, nor did I agree to any recontract. Despite this, I started receiving payment reminders for a new plan I never signed up for.
Eventually, they terminated my service, which I assumed was the end of the issue. But shockingly, I later received a letter from a debt collection agency (Singapore Commercial Credit Bureau) demanding payment (Case No. 2510004084) with interest and threats of publishing the debt information all for a contract I had clearly rejected and never used.
If that wasn’t enough, ViewQwest then reactivated my broadband service without my request, likely in an attempt to justify billing me for a recontracted term I never agreed to. I’ve since had to dispute this in writing, involve consumer regulators, and protect myself from potential credit damage, all because of their internal system’s "auto-renewal" practices and lack of consent protocols.
I strongly caution others considering ViewQwest to read the fine print and monitor your account very closely. In my case, the billing and contract practices have been nothing short of aggressive, misleading, and damaging to consumer trust.
This is the worst service provider I have ever had. Not just in terms of ISP but in every service that I have ever been provided with. They have no service over the weekends and when there is a problem they will push you from one dept to another with no genuine attempt to help you. Their attitude is how can I get move this customer on do it becomes another department’s problem. My ISP issue occurred on 9 Aug. As of today, 28
Aug it has not been fixed. I am surprised that IMDA still allows them to retain a ISP license. I’d give them -5 stars if I could.
Im a existing customer with viewqwest for almost 10yrs and when they offered me to upgrade my plan 2Gbps($62.50/mth) to 10Gbps with a $7 top up, i was glad to sign up.
Once i signed up they sent me a contract for 12mths extension, and when I asked why, they ignored me.
3mths later i was slap with a charge for the 12mths at $62.50 + $7(to be paid monthly).
At the point (jul 2025) their 10Gbps line is only $35/mth.
What an dishonest company. Please don't ever sign up with them. Customer service is Zero, they either ghost you or send you an email to tell you how to terminate your contract (by returning your modem) and pay the penalty.
Viewqwest is a fraudulent company. The signals are so bad, and my wifi never works; it keeps fluctuating, and I always need to keep using data from my phone. I have exams coming soon, and I am unable to study to my full potential, because ViewQwest is not fixing the signals. We have called them multiple times, and they told us they would fix it, and then they would fix it for a few days, and it would go back to normal. This has been going on for too long, and it's high time they fix it. They are taking advantage of us and taking our money for zero quality in return. Do not go with ViewQuest.
Do not ever do anything with ViewQuest. I am filing a police report on the unauthorized transaction they performed on my credit card as advice by my credit card company which they refuse to reverse.
In my opinion, this company is operating under extremely poor management !!!
A Million Negative Stars — The Absolute Worst Internet Provider Ever
If it were possible to give negative stars, I’d give them a million. This has been, by far, the most abysmal internet service experience I’ve ever had. Not only is their service unreliable, but their complete lack of customer support is absolutely outrageous.
Their so-called "support" number +65 3102 0000 is a total joke — the line is always dead, not once have I been able to get through to a human being. It's like they intentionally avoid their customers. I’ve never spoken to a single agent, because no one ever picks up. It's not just bad customer service — it's non-existent.
In May, we had a full week of downtime — an entire week without internet! And today, July 20th, on a Sunday when we had planned an important online training session, the internet went down again from 5 a.m. to at least 4 p.m. and still no resolution. This level of negligence is unacceptable.
And they have the audacity to call this "maintenance"?! In just one month, there have been multiple outages, all conveniently labeled as "maintenance". That’s not maintenance — that’s utter incompetence. If your system needs this much fixing, it’s clearly broken beyond repair.
As someone who works from home, I’ve been severely impacted. Missed meetings, lost productivity, and an endless source of stress. This provider has caused nothing but disruption and frustration in my life.
To anyone considering subscribing to them: DON’T. STAY AWAY. RUN. You’ll be throwing your money away and getting zero service and zero support in return.
This company should be ashamed of calling itself an internet provider. They are a disgrace to the industry.
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with ViewQwest's technical support, or rather, the complete lack thereof. My internet has been down for over four hours, and despite my attempts to reach your technical support team, I have received no response, no call back, and no indication that anyone is even looking into my issue.
In this day and age, reliable internet is not a luxury, it's a necessity. To be left completely in the dark for such an extended period, especially for a core service like internet distribution, is utterly unacceptable and demonstrates a profound disregard for your customers.
What good is a high-speed plan if your support infrastructure crumbles the moment there's a problem? This experience highlights a critical failure in ViewQwest's customer service and emergency response protocols. I am paying for a service that is currently unusable, and I am being met with radio silence.
This level of unresponsiveness is not just inconvenient; it significantly impacts my ability to [work/study/connect with family/etc. - add your specific impact here if comfortable]. I strongly advise anyone considering ViewQwest to reconsider, as their technical support appears to be non-existent when you need them most.
I expect an immediate resolution to my internet issue and a clear explanation for this shocking lapse in support.
Coming to 10 years with Viewqwest fiber broadband in October. With the exception of 2-3 outages (which were resolved promptly), the stability and performance meets expectations!
I understand things will crash or fail but if cannot learn from it that will be long run issue to all subscribers. In June alone it failed multiple times due various reasons (according to the CS). But from technical standpoints it comes down to 2 things - DHCP and DNS. Where the redundancy? CS will always try to go around the issue to buy time with various reasons. I end up have to roll up my sleeve to do network troubleshooting and provide the logs to proof the DNS is not working!
To make thing first class, promised will call back but never happens at all. For remote worker, internet connectivity is important. We can fall back to tethering from mobile but not all the time.
Likely you will get high blood pressure after you sign up with VQ. Used to be top-notch, I think it just go into drain. I wish I can break my current contract (without penalty) and go for other ISP.
too many outage and no compensation. if you're a little late on payment, they send reminder about reconnect fee which is close to sgd200. they claimed to be the fastest isp in sg, true enough it's all lies. after contract ended quickly switch to another isp. $40 for 2gbps, now I'm on 10G for $29.90. now i have much more reliable internet connection.
upon website termination of service, was informed on web someone will contact, 2 weeks in nobody contacted. googled their business address at bendemeer straight away return their ont. 2 months in, till now the over payment of bills haven't get refunded.
If only you could rate 0 - very bad customer service with useless response if you actually reach them during an outage that is always a fault on their side (they will just ask you to restart modem and try to ping)
I was charged S$182.03 for a service that I have never taken up or received. It was very alarming!!!
I am utterly shocked too from their customer service reply when I request them to investigate & do a refund !
I'm using viewquest malaysia, and the customer service is sucks. Not able to phone call, no reply via email, no news from official website contact form. So no way you can contact them if you have any issue.
I contact them to enquire renewal plan, sales drop from the sky, but they don't even care, no reply at all.
going to change to other service provider.
I had a very bad experience with ViewQwest and would not recommend them to anyone. The internet connection was unreliable, with frequent disruptions that made working from home and streaming very frustrating. On top of that, trying to reach their customer service was a nightmare. The hotline is extremely difficult to get through, and when I finally did, the support was unhelpful and slow to respond.Save yourself the stress. Look elsewhere for a more reliable provider.
