Paid extra to expedite creation / delivery. Was guaranteed arrival in 10 days and it actually arrived 30 days later and missed the event that the gift was intended for. When emailing customer service I got little to no response and had to pay extra to get a digital copy to print out myself to gift (after paying for the art and expedited fee).

After communicating via email for weeks letting them know I was unhappy with their final product and did not wish to purchase it, this company charged me anyway. Now, they have taken it a step further and actually physically shipped me the product that they knew well in advance I did not want. They have no phone number to call, the only way you can communicate with them is via email where they will delay, play dumb and do everything they an to avoid issuing a refund. They do not want happy customers, they want your money and that is all they care about. I would stay as far away from this company as possible. Not only are their products poor quality, they are bad and deceitful people that do not operate ethically.

Please think twice before using Welham & Co to create something special for you. Their website is not transparent. The conditions placed on your order are buried in the FAQs page. Since I placed my order, their front ‘Shop’ page has been changed, and it now has placed a few FAQs there, which were not there before. If you think the portraits are hand painted, alluded to by their statement ‘Every artwork is created by our artists’ and showing a paint palate beside it, you will be wrong. The artwork is digitally created. I was not notified that a proof was ready to view on two separate occasions. I received a final framed copy without my approval, without changes I wanted made. It states if I am not happy with the artwork after a proof is sent, and the portrait is still not what I envisioned, a 100% money back guarantee is available. I did not approve my proof, the ‘artwork’ is absolutely horrible, and I have requested a refund of the $152 I paid up front, yet they are not listening to me and fobbing me off when it comes to a refund. I will report to Fair Trading and place my comments on any platform to warn people, the chances are you won’t get what you want. This is what my portrait result has been. Positively awful!

This information is included within our FAQs, where we explain that our portraits are designed digitally by our artists to closely resemble a traditional hand-painted piece. We’re also very sorry to hear that you did not receive or see the proof notifications sent during the review stage. Our system automatically sends proof emails and follow-up reminders before any automatic approval takes place, but we completely understand how frustrating it must feel if those notifications were missed and you didn’t have the opportunity to request the changes you wanted before production moved forward. Your feedback regarding the final result is something we take seriously, and we genuinely regret that the portrait did not meet your expectations. While our process allows for unlimited revisions during the proofing stage, we understand your concern that this opportunity was not completed in your case. We would still very much like the opportunity to help make this right. If you’re willing, please send us photos of the final framed portrait you received so our team can carefully review the concerns you’ve raised and look into possible next steps with you. Was an amazing service from the start to the end. Im so amazed how quickly they did my picture and I did not pay until I was happy with picture. I made them change a couple of things and they made as many adjustments as I asked until I approved the final. Then it was shipped and delivered within a couple of days of approving the photo. The final result was beautiful and looked so real!

The quality is great! Beautiful product but the ordering process was frustrating. Don't accept not even my debit card. After getting payment settled toooo many emails making a huge confusion on what had been already answered. Lacked organization and track keeping of what had been discussed which delayed my order and delivery way past closing date.
