deactivated and was never able to get back on. Clearly blocked due to reporting hosts. They don't check whether the hosts are safe and they do nothngn about serous ssues. 1 was bullied at one place, and the host changed my work role completely. Despite knowing that the two women were arguing all the time, they did not care. The 2-second host was an alcoholic and smoked weed, and put people in dangerous situations, and was very abusive. Despe evidence sent to them. 3 Las host was dsurbng adn repored o auhortes - completely unsafe and thieves. No refund, hey jus took my money. Hoss never bought me food, made excuses, and bought my own. never refunded. At one host place was disturbing people and some weird cult and sex predators. avod hosts Northern reland and reland. Do not recommend all and also now voluneerng s llegal n UK. So, check. Soon will be a real land as s modern slavery.

they are already famous for manipulating reviews of both host and volunteer ( we have evidence of that ) so no surprise they manipulate their own reviews also .

They set up the Kep Gardens profile for me which I appreciated. Once I worked out how to use it, I found the website easy to use and it contains all the information I need. I am technology challenged so the easier the better. The help staff answered quickly and didn't make me feel like I was wasting their time. Antoine was our first volunteer with Worldpackers so it was the first time for reviews etc. Now I kknow what is expected.

World packers is like any other "volunteer" platform: they make money on our free labour! the prove that they are on the hosts side, is that when a volunteer leaves a review to a host, the host can reply to it (if it was positive or negative), when a host leaves an untrue review, we can not reply below it , like the hosts can! Why it was designed like this?? because more hosts more baits, so more volunteers paying up the subscription and making money for Worldpackers! And Reddit please don't delete this commentary like you did with my post!
DO NOT VOLUNTEER this is a modern slavery, specially in EU where a paid worker cost way more than any food and lodge given from a host! Wake up people! and most of them are women...and they want us to know carpentry, farming etc. Go pay for a professional!
My first and last volunteer with WP was in a place called SKEPPSUDDEN if this place were owned by an Arab or a Black Swede, it would have been closed many years ago! It has been a venue for years (10 years now??) for groups retreats to have sex and illega* drug* (more than cannab*s, actually you bring whatever you want and use it there).
I declined to participate to neither, and I was treated with racism, xenophobia, anti-feminist and of course, being singled out as an "up-tide" for not having sex-group and not smoking cannabis like they do all day long... while I was volunteering there. And I was accused by a young woman to try to steal a dog from another woman from the group! LOL the xenophobia among the so-called progressive women!
The other volunteers all men, clean up after themselves whenever they feel like because they have a rule: if it bothers YOU (the mess, sh*t in the toilet etc.), it's up to you to clean that up!
And they have 2 guys overstaying their visas because they are desperate to have free labour!

We have an ad for volunteers that we switch on and off depending on our needs and schedules. In the last year we hosted 8 amazing guests and had a blast while getting stuff done that most definitely would have languished without the extra hands.
It has been a joy to meet willing people from around the world, enjoying cultural exchange and connections. Great platform.

Honestly the WorldPackers app was really easy to use. I used the support and they were fast in replying to email and so nice and clear. I actually love the academy feature, learned a lot with random videos I watched on there. Lastly, I had an amazing experience with my volunteering and with other volunteers from the app. So overall a 5 out of five.

I have only done one trip so far with worldpackers, but it was amazing! My host was amazing, but knowing that worldpackers insurance would help me out if something went bad helped me have peace of mind before I arrived to volunteer! Definitely recommend to read all the host reviews before commiting to volunteer somewhere because I have heard not all hosts are great.
