I had a very disappointing experience with 1-800-Flowers.
My order was not delivered on the promised delivery date, and I wasn't even notified until the day it was supposed to arrive. To make matters worse, they lost the message I had carefully written for the card and told me they couldn't find a suitable substitute for the arrangement I had ordered.
Instead of helping me find an alternative, the representative had me search the website myself because she couldn't find anything. It honestly didn't seem like much effort was made to resolve the issue.
What really shocked me was that the representative offered to call my sister and tell her that her surprise wouldn't arrive until the next day, and even offered to write a note on my behalf. That completely defeated the purpose of a surprise gift and felt very inappropriate. I found the suggestion offensive and unprofessional.
Initially, there was no offer of a discount or any compensation for failing to deliver on the promised date. It wasn't until I complained that they finally agreed to refund the cost of the flowers.
Overall, the customer service was poor, communication was lacking, and the entire experience turned what should have been a thoughtful surprise into a frustrating disappointment. I won't be using 1-800-Flowers again and cannot recommend them based on my experience.
I sent flowers yesterday July 1 to Seattle Washington celebrating my new grandson arrival. The flowers shown in the picture I ordered was double the size and it had a vase . They got half the size flowers in a carton box. Very disappointing and in professional
For the 3rd time in the past 2 years I had another problem with my order and delivery. I had an order scheduled for delivery on July 2nd and unfortunately it was delivered on June 29 th and sat on the patio for 2 days in the Florida Sun ! The receipient arrived home to see this beautiful boquet wilted and dead and now back with Mother Earth . My order included renewal of my passport and a donation to the smiles program also. After spending time reviewing numerous complaints and looking at their website I intend to pursue legal action because they have let down numerous customers and a class action may be what is needed to get their attention. They advertise that they were vetted by Forbes and recognized by Oprah . Well now I vetted them and the results are don’t do business with this Company, a mistake or 2 can happen but consistent patterns need to be addressed.
I ordered and picked a date for delivery, they missed my anniversary and I couldn’t be more disappointed. I will delete their app and never order from them again.

Would not order again
I was extremely disappointed with the arrangement I received compared to the photo advertised. The bouquet shown online was a full, low-profile arrangement with abundant lavender blooms, multiple white roses, and a carefully designed, balanced appearance in a modern glass container. What I received looks nothing like that.
The delivered arrangement is sparse, overly tall, and dominated by greenery and filler rather than flowers. The featured lavender flowers that make the original bouquet so distinctive are largely missing, and the arrangement contains only a few roses and daisies that do not resemble the flowers pictured. Even the shape and style are completely different—the advertised arrangement is lush and compact, while the delivered version appears hastily assembled in a narrow vase.
I understand that substitutions may occasionally be necessary, but this goes far beyond a reasonable substitution. The overall look, flower varieties, proportions, and presentation do not match what was advertised. If I had seen the arrangement I actually received, I would not have purchased it at this price point.
I feel misled by the product listing and would not recommend this florist based on my experience. I expected something similar to the photo; instead, I received an arrangement that bears very little resemblance to the bouquet I ordered.

Use someone else…
The flowers almost being on time is the only reason for 2 stars and not 1. The flowers looked terrible and I wound up going to Acme, grabbing some flowers and combining the two orders to make them semi decent. I was so upset over this because it was for my daughters graduation.
I ordered a sympathy plant for a coworker on 6/3 and it was not delivered until 6/18 after I chose the delivery date 6/9.
The earliest possible delivery date offered was 6/8 for an additional $10. That was the day of the funeral so I went for the next day so I knew should would be at work to receive it. The offered delivery date was a lie as they changed my date to 6/17 without even informing me. i had to go find the email and look at the order status on the website after it didn't show up on 6/9. Then it was delayed yet again, this time with them blaming FedEx and was finally delivered 6/18.
Also, the character count on the message you can include is so ridiculously small that they had me sitting at my desk writing a sympathy haiku. Will never order from them again.
I am very disappointed with my purchase from 1-800-Flowers on June 16, 2025. This was my first time using your service, and unfortunately, the order arrived incomplete, which ruined the surprise I had planned.
I ordered flowers, balloons, and chocolates for two birthday celebrations. While the flowers and balloons were delivered, the chocolates were missing from the order. The gift was intended to be a complete birthday surprise, and the missing item made the experience disappointing for both recipients and for me as the customer.
I chose your service because I expected a reliable and memorable gifting experience, but the incomplete delivery fell short of those expectations. I hope you will review this issue and take steps to improve quality control so that future customers receive exactly what they order.

Order flowers last Thursday to be delivered yesterday Tuesday to my 86 yo mom. Yesterday came , kept calling to check no info. They kept saying by 8pm. Called back after 9pm to find out delivered was not done. No call, no text, no email no nothing. After complaining about not being to fulfill ther guarantee and what I paid for they offered me 10% off next service ( what a joke) asked for refund it will take ten days to be credited back on my account , reminder the money was deducted immediately. Any reliable company would offer deliver no charge and money back! Not them. Will not go back or recommend EVER

Unbelievable con. I have never seen such a popular company get away with theft so blatantly. I purchased an $80 item and was supposed to have it delivered same day. When they told me that they couldn't deliver it until the next week, I cancelled the order. The $80 authorization was taken out already, and this was on May 23rd. The money still hasn't been given back. Every time I call, they refuse to let me speak to a supervisor, and the timeline for return increases every time I call. SMDH

Never received my order
I ordered beautiful flowers for my granddaughter's 1st dance recital well in advance. We were home when I received the email that they were delivered. However, nothing was received. Our doorbell camera didn't confirm a delivery and my husband checked with the neighbors. After getting through the AI bot to chat with a live agent, she told me that sometimes the email is received before it is actually delivered. She said they had until 8 pm and she would track it to make sure I get it. I never did. At 8:00 pm, I chatted with another agent who said he would get it resolved and I would have the replacement flowers by Tuesday, which wouldn't work because the dance recital was Sunday. He said the soonest I would get them is Monday and he would credit the shipping charges. I asked for a full refund as this was unacceptable. I will not order from here again.
My order was marked as delivered the first day, but I never received it. That alone was already frustrating because I paid for an arrangement and expected it to arrive when it was supposed to. It finally showed up today, but the arrangement was extremely small and not worth the price at all. I am very disappointed because the picture and the cost made me expect something much nicer and fuller.
What makes this even more upsetting is that this arrangement was for my grandmother’s funeral, and it never made it there. That was a very important and emotional occasion, and not having the arrangement delivered on time was extremely disappointing and hurtful.
To make the experience even worse, my camera caught the delivery driver doing something very disgusting and inappropriate while handling the delivery. That was unacceptable and honestly made me feel even more uncomfortable about the entire order. Between the false delivery update, the late arrival, the poor size of the arrangement, it not making it to my grandmother’s funeral, and the driver’s behavior, this was a terrible experience. I am extremely disappointed and will not be ordering from here again.

Do NOT waste your money
My husband purchased flowers for Valentines Day. We never received the order, so we called for a refund. They claimed they would process the refund, but never did. Customer service was nice but didn't know what the hell they were doing. It cost over $200 for everything he purchased. What a waste of money. Would 100% NEVER purchase from here again.
I rarely send flowers from this place because they farm out there bouquets to local florist without giving them much money to fulfill the order often they are late. And not very good. Also, they are listed on the cruelty, free investing site as being exploitative of animals.

Ordered from 1800flowers.com. Order showed up at 11pm when the delivery was supposed to only be completed latest by 8pm. The delivery person woke up my recipient from bed, whom was unable to pick up the flowers due to the rules of their apartment. The delivery person never came back and the flowers and chocolate were never delivered with no refund from the website. Terrible website that did not care about the delivery not completing. They kept trying to give me a discount (much lower than my order amount) on my next order on the website instead of my money back. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

The words that I wrote in the description was not what was on the card.
I absolutely loved the Wings Of Serenity Flowers but what I wrote in the description is not what I got on the card.
Absolute waste of money. I spent $70 on a bouquet for a sick friend and they received a pathetic looking grocery store bouquet in a vase from the dollar tree. It looked absolutely nothing like the photo. The whole bouquet was of filler flowers.
I ordered flowers for a funeral with a live agent on Wednesday 6/3/26. The flowers were to be delivered on Thursday 6/4/26 to a funeral home. The flowers never got delivered and no one from 1800 flowers reached out to me. I called them on Saturday 6/7/26 to confirm my order and the flowers were never delivered. I have been doing business with 1800 flowers for years and never experienced anything like this. I am hurt and upset about the situation. I do not recommend doing business with this company. The funeral is over and my love one never received the flowers.
