I requested for a release of our license

I requested for a release of our copy of Backupper software license because of a system crash. We want to re-install to a new system. The reply was fast. And there is a follow up if everything went well. That was a good service ensuring the customer gets the assistance

It's not free.

It's not free. Despite the cloner being marketed free, it's not. The download page also say "Cloner Free" and "Download Freeware" (unlike the Partition Assistant, which clearly says "Free Edition" and "Professional Edition" on the same download page) I thought it was free because it only has one job, unlike the partition assistant, but no, it'll ask for $40 when I try to clone the OS drive. Even funnier that it gives a 50% discount on the uninstall page and an 80% discount on the webpage that open after I finished the uninstallation

Excellent Customer Support

Excellent Customer Support – Highly Recommended! I had a great experience with AOMEI’s customer support. They responded very quickly and were always professional and helpful. A special thank you goes to Megan Z from the AOMEI Support Team. She was incredibly friendly, responded very fast, and stayed focused on finding the best solution. She solved my problem efficiently and made the whole support experience smooth and stress-free. Customer service like this is hard to find these days. I have become a real fan of Megan Z and truly appreciate her outstanding support. Thank you, AOMEI, for having such a dedicated team member!

Backuppper upgrade from v8.0 to v8.4

I upgraded my free version from v8.0 to v8.4 but my existing backup would not longer run and instead the software crashed. I reported to tech support and asked if i could reinstall v8.0. Instead they kept giving me different links and got me to reinstall the software 6 times. Non of which worked. Eventually they told me that v8.0 free version did not exisit. It was at this point that I uninstalled permanently. The product was ok when it worked but support was a waste of time.

I've experienced persistent issues and Aoemi offer no support

This original post was curiously deleted by trustpilot so I'm posting again. I have experienced recurring issues with AOMEI Backupper Pro over several years. The software is configured to automatically delete or supersede old backup versions, but in my case it repeatedly fails to do so. As a result, backup files continue accumulating until the destination drive becomes full, requiring manual intervention. I have reinstalled and tried on multiple computers with the same issue. I contacted AOMEI support and spent more than an hour troubleshooting with a consultant. We reviewed all settings, confirmed the configuration was correct, collected logs, and ultimately wiped the backup drive and started from scratch as recommended. Lanry, the customer service agent is not the sharpest tool in the Aoemi shed. Approximately one month later, the exact same problem occurred again: old backups were not being removed and the backup drive became full. When I contacted support a second time, I was instructed to repeat the same troubleshooting steps despite explaining that I had already completed them. Support initially did not request the logs from the previous investigation and stated they had no record of the earlier case. After further discussion, communication stalled, and I was again asked to provide proof of purchase. More than two weeks later, the issue remains unresolved. I also submitted a complaint regarding the handling of the case and have not received a response. My experience has been that the software has not performed as advertised in this area, and the support process has been disappointing and ineffective. They have a defective product and won't give my money back. They don't care about their customers.
