Increase in cost of slots & poor choices to book slots
I have shopped at Asda for a long time and overall I was pleased with the service. I order mostly online and now it seems all bookings are booked 2.5 days ahead which never happened before and the cost for booking a slot has gone up and recently they were charging £8.95 for express delivery. It's a waste of time to keep trying to get a slot at a reasonable cost so I am using Aldi although it is not online the products are great quality at much cheaper prices.
had online shop and driver system down so couldnt refund told me to call and just rude and completely useless even after 4 or 5 attempts so try head office in morning
had online shop and driver had to take item back but his hand held system was down and wouldnt let me do online , been onto 4 different customer all very rude and then just put you on hold and ring off and on last occasion transferred me to someone in store who was picking an order as they think if they just mess you about long enough you will give up , ive asked for f.o.i to get a recording of all calls to report to head office but they just refuse and say they dont have a complaints team which is obviously nonsense , will contact head office tomorrow and my bank to see if can stop payment but just alot of grief for something that that the driver appologised for so not his fault and told me to ring customer service which are completely useless just to warn others if unfortunate enough to deal with these people on the phone .

Placed online order yesterday,came to amend it and everythings white amd spinning. My order total is (was) less than it had been before it screwed up.looks like items have been removed Cant load it to find out or change it. Getting tablet next month and changing supermarket after 3 years. Im housebound and they have become useless. Cant navigate well enough on phone to change ,but next month im gone.🤬

When you go into a store you expect some level of service. I now do my weekly shop a bit later in the day. By 18.30 there are no checkouts open. Self scan is fine for a small basket of things but not a weekly shop. Staff can't really be arsed to help every time the self scan bleeps because you've touched the bag of all things! Plus their 'rewards' often does absolutely nothing. Probably the worst incentive to shop in an increasingly unhelpful store experience. Having looked at the online reviews that doesn't seem to be good either. I think they need to step up and quickly. Value your customers if you want to keep them!

I have been bedridden since the pandemic and dependant on online deliveries however the way I have been treated by their customer service is disgusting. Ihave gone through a very bad time with grief and Octopus where so caring for me they sent Me a £65 eCard because I am struggling to cope financially having to care for my support animals. The result is that Asda card cant be used because they have a fault that the e Cards cannot be activated, so anyone trying to use the card for shopping.So I have completely lost out because Even though they had my account details showing the card details and could see the problems but told Octplus and myself two different tales. I do have emails to prove the horrble customer service. I just felt they just dont care and have made sure that I struggling to access the ecard. With being housebound I cant access foodbanks.I was a loyal customer of Asda, however I will never use their home service again

I bought a tiramisu dessert and it wasn’t written in front of the packaging that it contains alcohol, was feeling out of place(dizzy and high with a burning chest) almost went to the hospital until I read the ingredients at the back of the packaging to find out that there’s actually alcohol in the dessert!! I don’t drink alcohol at all! Was eating the dessert with my son who’s 3 years old..who puts alcohol in a dessert???
ASDA in Holyhead is poor
ASDA in Holyhead is poor, freezers -food covered in white frost for months now. Today I had a trolly full of food and got told to use self service until I complained and they opened a till. Not had carrier bags the last few visits...instead they hand out bin bags. Come on Asda poor show, you need to do a spot check at Holyhead store on Anglesey
I am absolutely appalled
I am absolutely appalled. I placed an online order with Asda Groceries yesterday and received it this morning. The sugar was soaked through and spilled all over the crate from a broken floor cleaner. The eggs were completely smashed and also drenched in the floor cleaner. On top of that, as always with Asda Groceries, several items were missing from my order. I thought that maybe something had changed for the better when it comes to Asda Grocery deliveries, but I see that nothing has improved and there's no sign that it ever will. Once again I placed an order with Asda Grocery, and once again I am left disappointed. And this time was definitely the last time I will ever shop there. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone.
Expected delivery from Asda Dunfermline…
Expected delivery from Asda Dunfermline on Saturday 25th July between 9am and 10am. Never arrived, called the help centre at 10.30am to be told its on the van and will be with you shortly. 11.30 still nothing, called help centre again who contacted the store and told me 3 drivers were sick and delivery could not be made. At this point the delivery was cancelled. At 2 30pm Asda driver arrives with groceries and I told him the order had already been cancelled earlier. He put the stuff back in the van and said he'd return it to the store and we would not be charged. On Sunday 26th July £146.40 was taken from my bank account for goods I never received. Despite calling the helpline several times and physically visiting the store, where they took the details and promised a refund, I am still waiting with no contact from anyone since. They will have until Friday when I will visit the store again and won't leave until I have a cast iron guarantee that I will get my money back. Absolutely dreadful way to treat anyone, through their total incompetence I am almost £150 out of pocket and still having to chase a refund. Utterly pathetic organisation.

ASDA Reward system is almost a scam. They intentionally made it complicated for customers to use them. I have even asked a staff to hepl me, but the staff laughed and said it was too complicated for him as well. Shame on u ASDA

One person on checkout in Bristol cribbs causeway and a big que, staff said they didnt have more people, manager said they cant get more staff and keep asking for more but are not allowed any. As a mental health nurse i was genuinely concerned for staff who were showing signs of stress. When the obligation to avoid unnecesary stress was pointed out the manager said they would not be given any. Bad for customers and bad for staff. Immediately after went to Morrisons, plenty of staff who were not stressed out and no que.
Home delivery food rubbish
Home delivery today. Delivery driver was fine. Food was awful. Yogurt pot smashed, water melon had cut in it, frozen food defrosted. Items ordered unavailable. Wont be using Asda again for home delivery
Kinmel Bay Asda, Rhyl
I visited Asda - Kinmel Bay, Rhyl on 27/07/26. I’m a frequent shopper and I’m always greeted by friendly staff and enjoy my shopping experience in a clean organised store and can always get what I need. However yesterday I had a panic and thought I had left my phone at self checkout, so I desperately went back into the store. I didn’t get his role, I assume store assistant, but Mike helped me. He was calming and quick to help me. Turns out I had volleyed my phone into one of my shopping bags hahaha! It was with me the entire time but even after security checking CCTV and confirming I had infact left with my phone, Mike still made sure I had it and we found it funny in the end! Thank you so much for your help, you’re a credit to the store and its customers. I’ve learnt my lesson to be more aware of where I place my belongings 🤣 I think I would have gone into complete meltdown mode if I didn’t have his support.
Asda rewards very poor.
Nearly 2 months of shopping and not one penny gone on my Asda rewards they are trying to make you shop at their express shops where items are Miles dearer and offering rewards on items hardly anyone wants, i have the Christmas saving app, which you can't add to because they offer you nothing I will start taking my shopping to sainsburys. You even get points (which do turn into cash although asda brag they don,t ) for petrol as well plus the nectar card which build up by the end of the year, poor show from asda I will start taking all my clients shopping to sainsburys.
