Click and collect has gone totally the opposite to convenience!!
Was the only person at the click and collect in Asda Llangefni. Waited for 30mins for my order to come out. The whole point of a click and collect is the conveniency of it all. Absolutely diabolical service. Checked in twice, called the number displayed at the collection point twice only to go through to an automated line that basically told me to check in again. Got through to a foreigner answering the helpline in the end that was of no use. Had to go in to the shop till to tell the staff I’d been there for 30mins waiting, waited another 5mins before the shopping came out. The worker carrying the grocery out was of no use and mumbled some lame excuse that it hadn't happened before and there was a problem with the system. Wont be using or going there again as it’s not the first time it’s happened. Hence why im leaving Asda a poor review this time round.

Asda branded compost
The compost sold by Asda does not qualify to be a compost! Is it dried clippings with zero moisture retention.
I was really let down by my recent order. The delivery was on time, but I received multiple substitutions that just didn't match what I had selected. Instead of my favorite brand of pasta, they sent a generic one that I can't stand! I understand substitutions happen, but this was too much. Plus, the fresh produce was not as fresh as I expected; some of the fruits were already overripe. I like shopping at Asda usually, but this experience was frustrating and not up to their usual standard.

My first experience with Asda Rewards…
My first experience with Asda Rewards which should have given me 5p per litre off petrol. It does not work!! Spent £70 and scanned the Rewards app at the till as told by customer service and the till operator. No voucher appeared and I went back to customer services and they gave the Rewards phone no. This kept me on hold in position 3 moving to position 1 and then back to 3 again. This offer is a con as the Howich service desk told me that this has happened to various customers in the past few days. No happy at all with Asda and its so called rewards.
I visited the sutton store in south East London and the service was disappointing.
Im disabled and use a stick to walk so can't use a basket even for few items.
The queues at self service trolley part were ridiculous and long, there was only 2 tills with people at them and both had customers with full and large trolleys. So I waited at self service. By the time I was through i was in a significant amount of pain. I stopped at ustomer services to ask if they had a dedicated til for disabled. Both ladies were lovely and kind but told me that the disabled til has been broken for months and despite it being reported, nothing has been done!...this is disgusting and not treating disabled customers with any care or consideration at all
I really like their 'free from' range for gluten and dairy free products, and they have a good variety even in the smaller supermarkets, but I feel let down recently.
The arla lactofree cheese I buy is always crumbly, greasy, and covered in a white chalky substance, but if I buy that same brand in other supermarkets it's completely fine. I suspect asda is freezing it.
They removed the 'shopping list' feature from the asda website, meaning I lost a lot of saved items. It was a useful feature, why remove it?
The asda shopping app is slow and buggy, logs me out frequently, and lags to the point where we've given up and gone elsewhere out of frustration. This happens on my samsung phone and my mother's google phone, so we know it's the app and not the phone.
Their delivery drivers are friendly and helpful, and suffering in the heatwaves without air conditioned vans.
The asda rewards app no longer gives rewards for just shopping, you have to complete 'missions' that involve buying things you may not want, or spending more than you usually would - not worth it. The rewards app sometimes won't load when I'm in an asda store (poor signal), because login doesn't seem to work without internet connection and it's always logging me out, so I can't scan the barcode. No physical card is available.
Overall just feeling disappointed. Not what it used to be.

If you buy two sets of 3 for 2, the checkout doesnt give you the best deal, can make a big difference. Beware!

Returned two items, both in one return bag. Only get refund for one. On calling them I was told only one received. I had to argue the point and eventually they agreed to refund the second item, strange how they suddenly found it!!!!!

I purchased a £20 Marks Spencer gift card for friend. When they attempted to use it, they were told nothing on it!!! I visited Asda Southgate and was questioned as to whether I had proof of the purchase, kind of not believing me?? They eventually made a call and found that there was £20 on card but was blocked. I phoned Marks and Spencer and they said the card had been spent in Leeds Marks and Spencer. Clearly was not me or my friend. Marks and Spencer said something about fraud!! STRANGE IT WAS LEEDS, your head office!!! No apology from Asda, my emails ignored.

Asda tills at Edinburgh (the Jewel). Only one open as usual so it seems they want to push customers to self service like cattle. Ask nervous supervisors to add another till. and they say they cant as the problem is staff. "the staff are off sick", "the staff don't want to do more". I escalate to speak to duty manager as this is unpleasant to hear - pure scapegoating "Unfortunately management in a meeting" (supposedly) - I waited ages. Staff were really nice but nervous (wonder why?). They were not the problem. Why is it policy to blame staff? This store is awful at the Management/policy making end and I will try to take custom elsewhere when I can. This place would make anyone depressed. The worst of the worst.

Quality, value and service is rubbish!
Asda Brynmawr is my local and nearest supermarket with the exception of Farmfoods, both in the same retail park less than a mile from where I live. I tend to go to Farmfoods or go to Ebbw Vale and shop in Aldi as in the past Asda has been awful on quality value and service. However, sometimes it is easier to get my groceries in Asda like it was this week as I was already in Brynmawr anyway. I can't believe that nothing changes, I bought a fresh chicken which when I cooked it, it was the worst I've seen in my life. When I attempted to cut it, I realised there was no luscious breast I would expect but just bone and I had to search around the (large) chicken and barely got enough meat for myself. There should have been enough meat for me only for 4 days. Barely got one with scrappy bits. Also the potatoes as like before, were all blighted (as usual), but I persevered anyway and tried cutting out the blight but even then the roast potatoes tasted awful and ruined the roast. The only good thing was the frozen vegetables I bought in Farmfoods. And....I had to queue for ages when only 2 of the 7 tills were open as they are trying to force customers to use the self serve. That notwithstanding, the checkout woman was taking ages chatting to the customer at the till ignoring the queue. Can's believe my eyes that all is not good in Asda. Never again though will I shop in there. I had already cut them out mostly, but now I would rather starve than go in there again just to buy substandard food. That will teach me. Sometimes things never change, and I should have thought about that. Convenience of locality isn't always the best option.

Don't use rewards on clothing items.
I spent over £80 on clothing at Asda. There were no fitting rooms, so I had to buy the items without trying them on. Unfortunately, a couple of them didn't fit properly and had to be returned.
I'd used a £2 reward as part payment for my purchase. When I returned two items, I didn't receive a full refund because the till system had spread the £2 reward proportionally across every item on the receipt. I spent £58 on the items I returned but only received a refund of £56.85.
It's only £1.15, but it takes quite a while to earn £2 in Asda Rewards these days.
Now, instead of feeling rewarded for my loyalty, I just feel irritated.
I went back to the store to query it as I thought it must have been a mistake, but was told it was correct and that it is explained in the Asda Rewards terms and conditions.
Don't use your Asda Rewards on anything you might need to return.
Asda delivery late no notification given to me or call to let me know. Driver shows up with half my order and laughs in my face that he doesn’t know where th other half is. Call customer service for help and even their system isn’t working so they can’t check my order. DO MOT ORDER FROM ASDA

ASDA Ballyclare. We tend to stay away from here but only go when necessary to get milk, I have to say every time we shop here there is always an issue. If its not an issue with their food going off, fruit not staying fresh especially their black banannas then the biggest thing that annoys me is their advertising. Things are priced wrong and when you go to pay the thing you thought was on offer was not and its a real hassle having to get it removed from the bill, staff think im wrong everytime but I now take photos. Tonight's episode was when I saw they are doing 20 pound off their bbq thats on offer right at the door but when you go to pay it remains full price. Again get the staff over, spend 15 mins talking with them trying to figure it all out to be told the offer does not apply to BBQs but yet they have their big advert on the BBQ saying 20 quid off. Pure click bate . Id say id have expected better but this is why we drive 10 miles to Tesco as you know what you're getting. Yup asda another disappointing shop tonight from me. Hopefully the 1 star gets your attention

Absolutely disgusting
Absolutely disgusting. I waited all evening for a delivery and they never showed up. I am never there again. I encourage people to not go here if anything happens to your shopping you will be fed a line. Customer service was no help either with the matter and spoke to someone at the Asda where my delivery was coming from was basically lied to saying it would be delivered when it wasn’t.
