Awful customer service
Ordered a trampoline online, started to build it to realise it has 4 bolts missing. Contacted customer service who can't just organise replacement bolts. They need to collect the full trampoline then send me a replacement. They can't collect it for another 3 days and a replacement trampoline will take 3 to 5 days after that. Asked for a refund and that will take 14 days. Just seems so ridiculous. Now need to try go find bolts myself when I shouldn't have to. Just so my disappointed son can use it this weekend! Awful customer service.

ASDA Reward App not working …
I have been using ASDA rewards app for ages now it has been stuck on 62p for months it is the worse apt totally, I use my ASDA credit card mostly you get more out it, but think Tesco clubcard is better. I have tried to reach out to ASDA with this issue about my rewards apt being stuck on 65p but no help.

My mother is 85 housebound and I order for her as she needs her essentials. The last twice, no bread (6 loaves) has been delivered, even though I made a note saying we need any bread delivered as a substitute. I was on the phone to your help desk last time for 12 minutes while they phoned the store. Again no bread. Just not acceptable and now my mum is left with no potatoes or bread. Surely Asda has both??

Bought jar of beetroot 710 gr 2 weeks ago.
Open it today to find small white worms in it.
AVOID
Yet again I visited Asda to be charged an incorrect price for items, always overcharged.
I visit Asda regularly but have recently started using other supermarkets as I have to constantly check the prices.
The price shown on display is not the same as I'm charged...
When I challenge this the staff are full of apologies and acknowledge that this is a regular complaint from customers.
I have 2 friends who have stopped shopping there altogether.

Burton-on-Trent store. Not a very nice experience
Burton-on-Trent store. 13th July 2026 11:23am.
Happy with what I'd bought.
Literally chased down 2 streets away from the shop by their thug of a security guard on duty.
Grabbed me from behind & my bag of shopping out of my hand. Actually thought I was being robbed initially.
Said "I don't think so. You've just stolen that"
Literally started emptying the bag on to the pavement.
Told him it was all paid for. Luckily I'd printed the receipts.
(I prefer going through the tills with staff on, but there was only one open so had to use the self service)
He said "Show me!" I said here, there's 3 bits on card for myself & 5 other bits (ice lollies, sandwich paste and grapes are for someone else. They were cash.
His response to that was
"You haven't paid for one of them, look!"
I said I have, "there's 5 things, 2 ice lollies, 2 pastes & 1 grapes. 5 things!"
Literally counting things out on the receipt trying to prove my innocence. Once he'd established it was right, he said the "description's weird on that". (One of the ice lollies). I said "that's not my fault is it!"
Said "if I'd stolen anything I would've ran wouldn't I?! Not packed my things in a shopping bag and walked out!"
The girl that accused me of stealing also appeared, so chased down by two members of staff for £8.70 worth of paid for goods.
The thing that really p****d me off though was... No apology from either of them. Left what I'd brought on the pavement. Turned there backs and walked off.
Technically yes, he is doing his job, but it should have been dealt with so much better!
He could have just said "sorry to stop you, can I just check your receipt? There might have been a mistake at the checkout" I knew there wasn't because I don't take things without paying. Totally unnecessary.
No... Guns blazing. Said I was a thief before even checking the receipts properly.
Maybe they both need some more training on how to deal with situations like this better.
Plus if the person hovering around the self service section had actually been paying proper attention, she would have seen me scan everything and pay, instead of sending a security guard to chase me down.
Fair enough, if I'd had a trolley load of chocolate or meat & ignored the tills then yeah, suspicious, come on 49p sandwich paste and a tub of grapes.
Disgusting treatment if I'm honest!!!
I hope they both get a bit more than spoken to by their manager. It's really put me off going into Burton Asda again. Think I'll be taking my business elsewhere in future.
Awful to be made to feel like that!

Security guard at asda small heath
⭐☆☆☆☆
I left Asda feeling genuinely upset and disappointed. I had simply approached the security guard, Imran, to ask if a wallet I had accidentally left at the self-checkout had been handed in. Instead of receiving understanding or help, I was met with a rude, dismissive, and aggressive attitude that left me feeling embarrassed.
What upset me the most was that, during the interaction, he used a racist slur towards me. I never expected to experience something like that while shopping. No one should be made to feel degraded or unwelcome because of who they are.
I also overheard Imran and another security guard using foul and unprofessional language while speaking about their manager and complaining about reductions in their working hours. Hearing that kind of conversation in front of customers was inappropriate and only added to my disappointment.
I have always expected Asda to be a place where customers are treated with respect and dignity. Instead, I left feeling hurt and let down. I sincerely hope Asda investigates this matter and takes it seriously so that no one else has to go through a similar experience.
Store : Asda Small Heath
Terrible service. Always items missing. They need to fully overhaul their delivery service in Bristol. They use Asda Filton as a collection and delivery hub. There is hardly any stock in the fridge areas when I visit.
Awful. Couldn’t not recommend any more. We bought a set of pots and pans with a 15 year warranty that came apart after a year. We had to fight for a refund/replacement and when I complained online they did literally nothing. So I had to phone to get somewhere. The man was rude, kept talking over me, had no clue what he was on about. Told me that although they have a 15 year warranty because they are over a year old they couldn’t exchange or return??? The only thing that changed the way he spoke was when he spoke to my male partner. Blatant sexism. We eventually got somewhere with the local store who was helpful but what a mess! Asda needs to seriously do something about their customer service because this was the worst shop I’ve had to return something to ever

Lies lies
So i order online for a home delivery a Phillips one 360 that has been rolled back £19.99, this was on Tuesday, yesterday a home delivery driver turns up with a substitute gillette trimmer, i told him i didn't order that, and i dont want it.
So i reorder it and realised that it had the box ticked for substitute, which i didnt do might i add, asda then cancelled it this morning really? You testing me now.
They say the driver poorly, whatever you cant pea on my shoes and tell me its raining, you really dont have them do you.
You have more then one driver for home delivery 100% fact.
This is just a gimmick to get you into the store to purchase other items,or except substitute rubbish items so im going to drive to 3 stores that say there in stock. and then do another review.
Just so you guys know its aload of cobblers.
I might even start my own channel 🤣

Good service
I have to collect medicines every month and normally the staff are not that helpful or very happy, I have to wait over 20 mins on every occasion, this month was totally different, I had a lovely lady called Lynda serve me , she was cheerful, friendly, helpful she did explain that my medication had to be signed off so it would be 20 mins, the difference this time was as soon as I came back to the pharmacy she remembered my name and got my medication straight away, no waiting for another 20 mins , so I told her how nice she was and it was lovely to be served by someone like herself . Very Disappointed With Food Quality and Safety Standards
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Asda Horwich Middlebrook Store.
On 14/07/2026, I purchased Brompton House Coconut Macaroons from the store. When I opened the packet, I was shocked to find that the cakes had mould inside, despite the best before date being 15/09/2026.
This was a very concerning situation because I had purchased these cakes for my 4-year-old child to take to school. Thankfully, I checked the product before giving it to him, but it is extremely worrying to think that a child could have eaten mouldy food if I had not noticed it.
I have always trusted Asda as a major supermarket, but this incident has seriously affected my confidence in your food safety and quality control procedures. Products should be properly checked before being placed on shelves for customers to buy.
I hope Asda takes this complaint seriously, investigates what went wrong, and improves its checking procedures to prevent this happening to another customer.
Very disappointed with the standard of service and food quality on this occasion.
I do not recommend Asda

Unhelpful uncaring staff and customer services …
I finished my shopping at Asda Clapham Junction and was about to leave when I noticed a very distressed elderly lady standing beside her car. She asked if I could help because, as she put it, "Asda staff will not." Staff members. We're. Inez. June. And an unclear named member of staff on customer services. As she had no name badge on
The lady had placed her shopping in the boot of her car but had accidentally left her handbag, containing her phone, car keys, house keys and other belongings, on the front seat. When she closed the door, the car automatically locked, leaving everything inside.
She was understandably upset. In desperation, she even asked me if I could smash the window to help her retrieve her belongings. I refused, of course, and instead went into the store to seek assistance.
I approached an Asda employee and asked if I could speak to the store manager. I was told the manager was in a meeting and was advised to speak to Customer Services instead.
The Customer Services assistant informed me that the lady had already spoken to them and that there was nothing they could do. I was also told that three members of staff had given her the same response. Their only suggestion was that she should download the parking app because the car park was not operated by Asda.
I explained that her phone was locked inside the car, making that impossible. I also suggested that staff could at least make a note of the vehicle registration number and the circumstances so that, if she exceeded the parking limit because of this genuine emergency, there would be a record to support any appeal against a parking charge.
Despite this, the only response continued to be, "Download the app."
I found the attitude shown towards this elderly customer completely lacking in compassion. No one appeared willing to take ownership of the situation, offer practical advice or show even the slightest empathy.
In the end, I offered to drive the lady home so she could collect her spare key and return to her vehicle, hoping she would get back before incurring a parking charge.
The way this customer was treated was, in my view, unacceptable. While I appreciate that Asda may not operate the car park, that does not excuse the complete lack of care and assistance shown by members of staff towards a vulnerable customer in distress.
I have made a formal complaint to the store manager regarding this callous and uncooperative treatment. I sincerely hope this incident is investigated and that staff receive appropriate guidance on how to respond with empathy and common sense when customers find themselves in genuine difficulty.
Shame on those involved. Customers deserve better.

Was at Asda Spondon
Was at Asda Spondon, having breakfast in the McDonald’s. Two Asda managers was in there sat at disability table, two ladies come in one in a wheelchair. Do they move, no. The ladies have to struggle at a normal table, as these two men just sit there. Well no wonder the service has gone down here, if this is the kind of management running the place. Just no respect….

I have been shopping at ASDA for many years and they just dont care about how much they diddle you.
The big banner says "spend £40 in store and get 5p off fuel"...........what they fail to mention is you are not allowed to buy reduced items to make up your £40.
What difference does it make!?, i apparently only qualified for £38.96 due to the reduced item i bought 😡, i wouldnt have bought ANYTHING if i had know they were just going to diddle me.
Not shopping there ever again, they can shove their business where the sun dont shine. Morrisons is just down the road.

Asda (Falmouth, Cornwall)
I bought four cans of Coca-Cola as part of a meal deal from the Falmouth Asda, only to find once home that all four had a best-before date of 30 April 2025 — over 13 months out of date.
We only discovered this after opening and tasting one, which nearly made us sick.
It’s genuinely concerning that stock this far past its date was still sitting on the shelf. It raises real questions about stock rotation and quality control at this branch.
I understand best-before isn’t the same as use-by legally, but selling products this significantly out of date is a basic failure of retail standards, and it shouldn’t be on customers to double-check the date on every single item they pick up.
I emailed Asda customer services about this on 24 June 2026 asking for an explanation and details of what would be done to stop it happening again. As of writing this review, I’ve had no response at all.
Poor product control compounded by poor customer service — not what I’d expect from a retailer of this size.

Poor selection of organic fruit & veg. Fruit and veg always borderline off and tasteless. Increase prices weekly so now cheaper to shop at sainsburys or tesco. Limited veggie options. Asda rewards used to be good and is now pointless even scanning
