If I could give them negative stars I would. I purchased a new fridge, and I was supposed to have it delivered on 8/18 between 2-7 with a 30-minute notification that they were on the way. I received a text 8 minutes before they were going to arrive. I called corporate while I was driving like a mad man to get there. Thankfully my neighbor was home and saw them about to leave after only waiting a couple minutes. He called and I told him to let them in. He opened the door and they argued with him and said they could not come. After some arguing he got them to come in. I arrived and they had the fridge in the house but were just standing there. I paid to have the old fridge removed as well as the new one set up. They refused all of that and gave me so many different excuses that I lost track. So my 64 year old self with stage 4 cancer had to move my old fridge to the other side of my kitchen and then move the new one in place and hook up the ice maker because they also refused to do that. They now have almost $70.00 of my money for the extra services and corporate is refusing to give it back. There used to be a company called Circuit City that forgot who kept them in business and guess what, they are gone. Keep it up Best (WORST) Buy and you may see the same outcome.
Worst customer service I've ever experienced! And they asked me for information that seemed like a scam email. Had to jump through multiple hoops with foreign agents that simply did not understand my problem. I just ended up buying my Mac from Apple and got an even better deal. Boo Best Buy.
We purchased the Best Buy Insignia brand (their brand) refrigerator in Aurora, Colorado, and the delivery was scheduled for the next day. Like many companies, Best Buy appears to outsource their delivery to a 3rd party, probably the lowest bidder, and the delivery was and still is a DISASTER, 3 weeks later.
The sealed box was missing several crucial parts that attached the handles to the fridge & freezer. The delivery man offered to come back later that day, the next and the next after that, and did not.
We were unable to reach our sales associate in the store where purchased for assistance and the non human bot was particularly non helpful. We are hoping that an installation tech will show up with the right parts almost 3 weeks later but who knows.
Over all, a terrible experience and not being able to call into the store where the purchase was made, a travesty. VERY Poor Customer Service!!!
I’ve used Best Buy for years and have generally had good experiences and customer service—until now.
I purchased an open-box item online listed in “Excellent” condition and received a notification that it was ready for pickup. After driving an hour to the store, I was told the product was missing all parts and accessories. The associate acknowledged that it had been listed incorrectly.
Mistakes happen, but Best Buy refused to offer any compensation. At a minimum, I asked whether they could validate my parking; they declined. I then spent more than an hour on the phone with four customer-service agents. The first agent initially suggested that I drive another hour back to the store to speak with a manager.
Ultimately, Best Buy canceled the order and told me it was against company policy to offer store credit or a gift card for the wasted trip, more than two hours of driving, and the parking expense.
I previously bought appliances for my properties from Best Buy, but I will not be doing so going forward. My advice: if you buy an open-box item for store pickup, call ahead and ask the store to verify its condition and included accessories before making the trip.
After delivery of a refrigerator that was advertised as the size I needed but came slightly larger so wouldn’t fit my space they left me hanging.
Delivery men arrived, removed my current fridge, brought in the too big fridge. My options were to pick another fridge. They have several basic ones I didn’t want and one two times the cost that would fit. They offered me zero incentive or courtesy discount for their mistake and the men had already left with my refrigerator. I told them I’m not going to purchase another fridge with them after no accountability and returned it. They charged me for delivery/set up for a fridge that didn’t fit and haul away of the fridge I said bring back since yours was supposed to fit but didn’t. The customer service was non existent!
They con you into purchasing their Best Buy Membership with perks, but if purchases are made online these benefits only apply to items they supply. Although most of their goods are sold by third party vendors, none of what you pay for through their benefits program is valid. And your return period is 2 weeks. I'm going back to Amazon. I'll never buy anything from them again. They're a joke.
Visited several brick-&-mortar stores in my local area, and had the same uneven, but poor, experience. limited floor staff so were backed up with waiting customers seeking assistance, and even staff who have little experience & poor to no product training. even the Magnolia premium home audio & visual concept is long gone, replaced with a largely empty & rag-tag space devoid of product. every store had a cluttered look with assorted product scattered or crammed together on sales floor. Best Buy's heydays are long gone, not to return. changing times & company has not kept up, & the website is a slow, & convulated mess.
This has been the worst of the worst experience ever
The sales person friendly try to help you
I ended up buying a refrigerator over $10 K
When the installation had to be done they sent this other company with the worst customer service ever
They came to my house four times to installed it every time they came they had different requirements but when I asked for a list of the requirements they would sent it to me
This was the worst experience ever
They outsource e e dry service installation when you try to call you are yea affect a call center in a different country even thought they are trying to help you all they do is apologize but no resolution I ended up feeling bag for the operator on y either line since she was just sayin “ I’m sorry” but nothing g was resolved
Do not order anything from Best Buy. I wish I read their Trust Pilot reviews first. Although it was easy to purchase online from Best Buy, they should not be promising a delivery date they could not fulfill. I purchased a pc yesterday and the agent guaranteed it will be delivered today. They use Ontrac delivery. I had been tracking the item. The delivery date changed from overnight to 3 days. How can I trust the information Best Buy gives me?
Purchased a washer a 1 1/2 years ago n started having problems also Purchased warranty for it having to wait almost 3 weeks to have it repaired n still waiting for it to get repaired I have called and spoke to different people hoping someone could help me had it fixed soon but no one was helpful first time buying from best buy n it will be my last how can someone be with out a washer for this long the answer i was given was go to the laundry mat very disappointed from the repair man to the people I spoke to never going back to best buy worst experience
I bought my washer and dryer on August 3, 2026 in the belief that Best Buy had great customer service and there would be no issues with my delivery. It is now August 14, 2026 and my delivery keeps getting delayed.
This is the 4th time that my delivery has been rescheduled.
My latest delivery was scheduled for today, August 14, 2006 and I was just notified that the delivery has been delayed. No explanation, just that it was delayed.
I have been a loyal Best Buy customer for many years and have spent a substantial amount of money with this company. After my most recent experience, both at the store and with Best Buy Corporate, they have lost my business.
Before pre-ordering a new Samsung Fold 8, I specifically went into the Best Buy Tuttle Crossing store in Dublin, Ohio because I had a 1 TB phone with a huge amount of data and wanted to know how the trade-in would work with store pickup. I was told I could pick up the new phone, take it home, transfer everything, and then mail my old phone back. I relied on that information when I chose store pickup.
On release day, I was suddenly told I could not leave with the new phone unless I transferred everything in the store and immediately surrendered my old phone. The same associate remembered our earlier conversation and said she had believed I could take the phone home and was only then learning, along with me, that Best Buy would not allow it.
No one made any effort to find another solution. I asked for the store manager and they refused to get hold of him. My choices were basically to transfer everything there, come back another day, or cancel the order. I spent over two hours in the store and, because I was unprepared to surrender and wipe my old phone that day, I ultimately experienced data loss and account-access problems afterward.
I escalated the matter all the way to Best Buy Corporate and Executive Resolution. That experience was almost as disappointing as what happened in the store. The responses became dismissive and defensive. I was ultimately told that I should have chosen shipping, no further accommodation would be provided, their answer would not change, and any further escalation would simply be routed back to the same case manager.
Here is the part Best Buy continues to ignore:
I WOULD have chosen shipping if I had been given accurate information when I specifically asked before ordering. That is the entire point.
Best Buy talks publicly about being customer-focused and elevating the customer experience. My experience was the exact opposite. There was no ownership of the incorrect information I relied upon, no meaningful effort to correct the situation, and no effort from Corporate to make it right.
I have lost all respect for the way Best Buy handled this. They have lost a longtime loyal customer, and I will take my business elsewhere.
The service request is HORRIBLE!!! I took a full day off work for the service appointment. Service did not even call to inform me that my emergency appointment was cancelled. I have been a customer for ten years plus and this is the worse service I have ever experienced.. My refrigerator went out. Service sent me an email to cancel and reschedule the appointment 12 days out, RIDICULOUS!!! Yes of course I paid $140.38 for the diagnostic a head of time. I will never shop or recommed Best Buy to anyone!!!!!
Must provide tracking information to even answer basic availability question.
Couldn't even get an answer as to availability of a product without giving email or phone number. I have no problem with giving those for situations where I deem it relevant, but have no interest in feeding the tracking beast simply for corporate interests and being forced to for basic help is beyond upsetting. Will definately effect my consideration of purchasing from Best Buy in the future.
Liar and Scammers trying to engineer profit out of my data loss Do not use these clowns, find me online and I will undercut any geek squad remote troubleshooting
I will Undercut their pricing under one condition You Tell Best Buy Agents they have been out geeked
Absolute Terrible Customer handing
Completely unreliable.
1. Ordered 2 items. System shows it would be delivered the next day.
2. 5am the next day, I get en email saying it delayed.
3. I cancel my order. Only one one item is cancelled.
4. Now the second items shows that it is a DOORDASH delivery 15 days into the future. Cannot cancel. Cannot change.
5. Went into physical store. Completely useless. Can’t refund me because I do t have the items. Apparently the item is getting delivered by DoorDash from NJ to MA. Not sure what the plan is and why it would take 15 days. Perhaps walking it over.
6. Next day I get a message that my item is delivered. Of course they delivered after business hours and left it outside which will all likelihood be lost.
7. Texted the delivery guy instructing him not to leave the package. No reponse.
Complete garbage. Use Amazon and save yourself the hassle.
