My flight was delayed by just over an hour completely out of my control. Despite arriving as soon as possible, Freecar refused to give me the car and never refunded my money. Total scam of a company with zero customer service or basic empathy for travelers. Do not waste your money here; they will happily keep it and leave you stranded.

Booked a hire car for next year through…
Booked a hire car for next year through car trawler having booked flights with Jet2. As our flight times were changed, we needed to update this on our car hire booking. Phoned CT and they said they could only do this by cancelling the booking and doing a new booking. When rebooking, CT then took incorrect amounts and had to cancel again. This happened on the 3rd booking and we have reached the point where we think that CT are quite incompetent. Their processes are limited by their poor IT systems and do not put the customer first. We have been chasing for weeks for the refunds that we’re due from all the incorrect bookings and needless to say they are quick to take payments and very slow to refund, even when it’s their error. Can’t recommend them based on this experience.

Overall good service
Apart from the 25 minute wait to pick up the vehicle everything else was excellent. Drop off was extremely easy. Maybe a better sign would help,
