Can't cancel a substriution I did not knowlingly set up
I made a one-off donation to a Change.org petition and a monthly subscription was set up. I have been unable to cancel it and have spent a long time exploring the website on my phone / computer - in that time several subscriptions were paid. The website option to cancel is not available and I was amazed and disappointed to see from Chat GPT and Google searches that this is a common problem with the Change.org website. No reply to my email so I had to request PayPal to stop the payment. What I shame, I will never make a one-off payment to a subscription again.

This organization may support good causes, but their business conduct is not honest and transparent. I made a one-time donation a long time ago, and they turned it into a recurring monthly charge for over a year. If they were decent and honest- they would email notifications and invoices every month. Donors beware, check your credit card statement regularly !

Change.org do a tremendous job, really dedicated in what they do, also they appreciate even the smallest donations which I like vedry much. I pay to several animal charities, but small amounts, about £3/5. I dislike the charities which ask you to donate a mi imum payment, sometimes £8/10.
