Supplies were not shipped

Supplies were not shipped. Finally got a hold of a person who said there was no reason they should not have been shipped and would send them out the next day. When I did not receive them the next day, I called back. The person lied and said there was a problem with the insurance. I had ordered 3 weeks ahead of needing supplies. I was on my last wafer and was trying to keep it on with any tape in the house. Ended up with skin breakdown. Not sure of the exact date, but it was in October.

I love this company and I am very satisfied with it. I am, however extremely unhappy with the people taking the calls saying they must take messages and then have me wait days for a return call just to reorder my supplies. Most of the time there are no return calls and I have to call again. One man yelled at me and hung up.

Phones Busy, They Don't Return Calls

Phone lines are always busy and caller is forced to leave a message for a 24-hour call back. Nobody calls back. The online ordering system doesn't work for new customers. The best solution is to keep calling until someone answers.

The process is extremely easy and so helpful that you manage the insurance portion of the ordering. I did find it difficult to get an actual person on the phone. I had questions and was considering making changes to my order, but was unable to get a person on the phone or a call back after leaving multiple messages.

Broken Promises, unfilled orders

Inaccurate orders, zero help received when called into the help line, broken promises for call-backs, and bottom line - no catheters. When I run out of catheters, Comfort Medical doesn't seem to care.

Got my supplies to me quickly before I went on a trip

Lack of communication and long delay

It took over 4 weeks from the time my Doctor sent in the prescription for catheters until I received them. After several calls I was told the prescription wasn't signed - even though the doctor's office had sent it twice. No one from Comfort medical communicated with me during this time. Instead, I kept calling only to find out that there was a problem. I finally was told on a Tuesday that the signed prescription had been received and the shipment would go out. When I called to check I was told that the prescription had been signed by the physician's assistant but she did not include her PA number so the shipment was being held up. Finally, "Mike" was able to resolve the final issues and the prescription was shipped. As a new customer this was a terrible experience - one which I reported to Coloplast. The fundamental problem, from my perspective, is that there is little or no communication from Comfort Medical to the patient when there are problems. The above problems should have been resolved in one week.
