Coming up on 20 years...

I have been a customer with Dreamhost since 2008. I have also worked with several other hosting providers. You know (most of) their names. There is simply a level of customer interaction that puts Dreamhost above the rest. When I have had urgent issues, they have responded immediately. 90% of my non-urgent issues are responded to in less than 30 minutes, and their support group is highly efficient, knowledgeable, and maybe most importantly, patient and offering the "hand up". I'm pretty much self-taught, and Dreamhost's support team has always been that mentor, no judging, just elevating my game with nuggets and examples of how to be a better website manager. Their server performance is impeccable, as reliable as any could hope for. And they do not try to "sell you". On more than one occasion, I have been told when inquired, "you really don't need that, your set up is optimal for what you do". There are quite a few sharks in the hosting waters. Dreamhost is that rare island of safety and security.

Web site development and publisnhing

I was having a problem with WordPress, Elementor and the Twenty Twenty Five Theme getting a new site up and running., I am NOT a web developer but have done a couple of web sites over time. I submitted a ticket and Pj C form The DreamHost Tech Support Team. Pj told ne that they do not normally do support on websites and I may need to talk to my web Pj was RIGHT and it fixed the problem. Nice job of support from a team that says that is not their forte,.

Quickly resolved my issue.

Stress-free Migration from Dreamhost

I would have given 5 stars, but my order for an expedited site migration service got jammed in the system for 24 hours somehow. When I contacted support, they got on it right away, and in no time the tech guys were reaching out. The rest of the process went without a hitch, and the site was up and running on the new server - they took care of everything! Totally recommend the white glove service for a stress free experience.

One more time, I will try to close my account. I tried it three months and it didn't work and you charged me. I will make a lot of bad reviews on Google with a lot of my friends and your company will go all the way down. I wanna close my account, just close it.You have a slow website, especially by closing an account where you're making it like a hostage. You are crazy.

VFP #35 Spokane, a non-profit migrated from Wordpress to DreamHost with the help of your professional services division. We had issues getting DNS changes for our original domain due to management issues. Your professional services division waited patiently while we sorted out our problems. In the end we registered a new domain with Dreamhost and your professional services facilitated the web page move to this new domain name. Everyone we worked with maintained a high standard of professionalism and made the move, not only from Wordpress but also to the new domain we purchased flawless for us. Instead of sending me endless directions of how to do something, I was given the tremendous gift of ... "I'll take care of it for you." And, if that wasn't unbelievable in itself, the fact that it was done in less than 5 minutes with a follow-up... blew me away! This kind of service is unheard of nowadays! Quality Service

I was locked out of my website, including accessing customer service. It took some searching around but final found an indirect way to contact them. The immediately found the issue and was up and running! So, I wish there was a way to contact support directly or by phone in a situation like that. Great web hosting in all other areas! Thanks!

Great Tech Support
