Refer a friend false advertising, If you leave a review it clearly states +100 points, if you refer a friend it clearly states +25,000 points. There is no astrick or fine print. I referred 2 friends who ordered and received 100 points, When I called to inquire where the points are, they said its up to 25,000 points. False advertizing. We have ordered through EZ cater many times through our multiple locations. They will come through but have been delivering hot food too early with no chaffing or any way to keep the food warm. We already request 15-30 minutes early for delivery time, to show up 45 minutes before that requested time is not acceptable for 30 people to receive cold food.

Bait and Switch on "Private Store" Orders - UPDATED
EDIT 5.19.26 - Robin with ezCater reached out via phone to address this issue. She indicated that they are working internally to address the clarity of any Private Store orders so that expectations align with advertisements. I appreciate the response and the chance for a win/win resolution where customers have clarity/disclosure and ezCater reduces confusion and/or complaints that their internal customer service spend time on.
Changing my review, from 2 stars to 5, based on the professional and prompt follow-up from Robin. From using ezCater for 15+ years this is the kind of follow-up that shows they are listening, they are taking action, and they are going to review things that can be controlled.
I know they cannot control many of the food issues or issues with delivery, things happen outside of ezCater's control. This internal issue with the platform is something they can control and improve upon, and all things indicate that they are taking action to make improvements to benefit both the customer and platform.
ORIGINAL REVIEW 5.18.19 (2 Stars):
I've used ezCater for many years and through multiple different jobs, so it was a surprise to find out that an order did not qualify for expected points.
While trying to resolve this issue I was informed on 5/18/26 that this order was "known as Private Store orders" and they are not eligible for Rewards points.
Never had this issue before and it is explicitly with ezCater. This experience feels like a bait and switch.
There was no indication that this order would not be eligible for points. I was logged onto the ezCater website. Receipts and a follow up restaurant review came from ezCater. I confirmed that if I clicked to re-order it would be processed through ezCater. I expected Rewards points through the entire process. There was no indication that they would not be distributed throughout the entire order and checkout.
After an hour and thirty-one minutes on chat support there was no resolution to this issue. I was under the impression that I was completing everything through ezCater and all follow-up from ezCater appeared to support this impression.
This does not make me want to utilize the ezCater platform going forward. Expectations were not met and customer service was not able to resolve Rewards points not being issued.

Angelina Bakery delivery was bad, half of the fruit tarts we ordered were delivered upside down! We paid $63.00 over dollars for delivery!
I also ordered all the baby platters but except for one platter the rest were all full sized platters! What went wrong? This was bad!
Not a good experience this time around with Angelina Bakery!
Saying that we had no issues with the taste of the food, which was very good.
