Best show I've seen at the Co-op
Best show I've seen at the Co-op. Best Shakespeare I've seen in Los Angeles. Great direction. Excellent cast.

Best show I've seen at the Co-op. Best Shakespeare I've seen in Los Angeles. Great direction. Excellent cast.
Really enjoyed the history and food tour of the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Great combination of history and food. Had food tastings at 7 different locations. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating.
What makes all of my Gold Star experiences great is that from the beginning of viewing open seats to final purchase is that the process is very computer friendly. And the one time I had an issue, it was handled well at the box office. I use Gold Star often and have experienced great seating arrangements too.
The two bands were just OK, but the sound system really ruined their performances. A heavy drowning, thumping throughout both bands performances. None of the harmonies or lyrics was comprehensible. When I went to the men’s room, the sound through the PA sounded pretty good. But sitting where I was, it was awful. And why the Michael Jackson star seem to be starting as if they weren’t ready to play. He must’ve asked 10 times are you ready for some fun and the audience kept saying yes but he did not start his set. Bringing the little kids on stage was cute for five minutes, but not 15 minutes. I’m sure the bands thought they were sounding fine, but they were not. A few months ago we came to see the ABBA concert and the sound quality was absolutely excellent. At the end of their show. The crowd stood up and demanded an encore and they did. But at the end of the Michael Jackson show when it was over, everybody just got out of their seats and walked out. So I don’t think I’m the only one that was disappointed sorry for the bad review for $29. I guess it wasn’t too bad.
We had good seats for a stellar performance at bargain rates
I love the musical history of Michael Jackson. I have attended MJ Live 3 out of 6 shows in Rosemont. They were very good, average, and below average in sequential order of the last three shows. The most recent show lacked the original voice quality of Michael Jackson impersonation. The MJ dance moves were virtually absent and the extended monologue was boring. I missed the former exciting chorography of the backup dancers and the Thriller routine was almost absent. I am waiting for the king to return.
Gold star gives us great orchestra seats in the tenth row for an excellent evening at the symphony.
Wonderful seats for a wonderful performance at SFS!
Very nice community theatre. Easy parking on lot. Rooted set was excellent for a small stage. Actors were good. Play was upbeat & fun. Nice afternoon outing on a weekend. would recommend for the light of heart viewer.
I have used Goldstar many times over the years. This is the first time I had a bad experience with what must have been a clitch in communication between Goldstar and Atlanta's Alliance Theater. When I arrived (30 minutes before performance), I gave the box office my confirmation number. I was told Alliance had no records of any Goldstar tickets for the evening performance. I had 4 tickets. There were two other patrons who were told the same thing. As a result, I had to wait until the box office confirmed that it had no shows or other tickets that were not being used before I was given the four tickets I purchased through Goldstar. In that this show was open seating, I was very concerned about finding four seats together. Fortunately, I was able to find four adjoining seats. I don't know the mechanics of the communication between Goldstar and the venues of events tickets to which are sold on Goldstar; but obviously it did not work in this instance.
I thought that the production was well done I further thought the acting, choreography, and singing really brought the musical to life. It was great seeing it at the Signature in a relatively small theater with a great cast and wonderful live musicians.
Interesting…. Talented, but go with an open mind. Play is very different
Goldstar suggests a variety of possible things to do with my granddaughter around town each week. The prices are usually exceptional, except that there's always a service charge that sometimes is more than the cost of the tickets themselves. Also the information related to the logistics for the show are often not 100% accurate. We went to a magic show that Goldstar said to be at 30 minutes early. There was no one even there 20 minutes before the show and we weren't let into the ven]ue until the printed show time. Also, finding the location of the theater was a challenge as there are two multiple theaters on the grounds and the one listed on the tickets were not for the show's location.
An incredible evening at Yoshis with great service, easy check in and a fabulous show with Michael O' Neills' sextet featuring the great charasmatic Tony Lindsay!!🎶🎵🔥🔥🔥❤️
Purchasing tickets from Goldstar was easy . I had to get to segerstrom center a good 30 minutes before show to park and pick my tickets up at WILL CALL . Beetle juice play was very good . Actors, singing, dancers , the script for play , and special effects were great . Unfortunately, the play was an outline or shadow of the movie . It was not as good and It was hard not to compare . However , the play had its own success with its own script . Music was not Danny Elfman , but it was good . Some songs were to long and dragged out . It was a very good play !
Great experience. Easy to use application. Good seats at the venue. Worked perfectly
It is definitely a Prize Pulitzer play because Fat Ham was properly directed, produced, and so on. The stage was perfect with all the details from many years ago in the country. I love it to the point that I saw it twice.
As a frequent Goldstar user, I would purchase tickets and get them when I purchased. This last time and the time before I did not get them until the date of the event. That is unsettling, especially when you are the purchaser for a group. Also, as a wheelchair user, I was able to email customer service and Goldstar worked with the venue to change my tickets to ensure accessibility and communicated with me via email. I never heard back from customer service so I contacted the venue directly. I hope this decrease in service is not due to the new naming of Goldstar. My previous ratings have been a 5.
I tried to use the website to “gift” my tickets by following the directions to change the name on them. This feature did not work. Fortunately, The Goodman Theater advised just telling my guest to use my name. I wish one could talk or chat with a real person when needed.
I’ve used Goldstar many times and have had 100% a great experience in San Francisco. The ability to see and support local theatre and music at an affordable price is great. Last night our seats were 3rd row center for a play. Thank you, Goldstar .
