What people say

Lehman College is great for concerts

Went To Lehman College of the Performing Arts to see the McDonald's Gospel fest on Saturday evening and had a good time. Although we were in the Balcony, the seats were comfortable and friendly for those of us with long legs and the view was still good when viewing the stage. I enjoyed myself and will use Goldstar again for ticket purchases.

Always so easy to use Goldstar

Always so easy to use Goldstar! We greatly enjoy going to see plays and concerts but cannot afford season tickets. But with Goldstar, we have been able to see so many theater and musical shows over the years because they were affordable. Easy to print out your tickets at home or do mobile tickets on your phone.

I saw an excellent performance of the show "Hair" at Signature Theater in Arlington, VA

I saw an excellent performance of the Broadway show "Hair" at Signature Theater in Virginia. I paid Goldstar less than half what the ticket sold for online at the theater, even including the $6 service fee, which I'd like to know the reason for. The theater is on the cozy side, not like the large Broadway theaters I've been to. I prefer a cozy theater. It would be nice if the sign to the theater could been seen from the road driving up to it but it is hidden by a tree and I drove right by it. The ushers were all very nice. There is free parking at a public parking garage next to Signature Theater. I've gone to quite a few performances over many years that I bought a ticket for at Goldstar and been happy with all of them. I highly recommend joining Goldstar.

Never Received Any Tickets—I’ve used Goldstar in the past with no…

I’ve used Goldstar in the past with no problems but recently never received tickets to the show I purchased tickets for. I also have not received any response from Goldstar to the complaint I lodged. Very disappointing and I won’t be using Goldstar again.

They MADE ME IMAGINE.

It was so inspiring! I was fascinated by the history layed out in a walk thru display showing the “Luna Luna” vibe as a thread thru European and American life-line. All thru the decades….yeah thru 30’s, 40’s and WW2….if I got it right. The artists made me think about my upcoming retirement and how I want to spend the rest of my days….yeah, really opened up my imagination — IMAGINATION. And they don’t even know they did that! How selfless is that?

tickets were never transmitted and were not available as sold when arrived at venue

tickets were never sent to us - only the message we'd receive them up to 2 hours prior to performance. we went to the venue hoping we'd have tickets. we (3 people were meant) to be seated in the orchestra but there were not 3 seats together. in order to sit together we were offered the balcony. the venue did their best but I am really turned off to Goldstar. First time I've had such as bad experience

I would have given a 5-star review

I would have given a 5-star review, but when I got to the box office and gave my name and photo ID I was told there was nobody with my name on their list(!!) Of course, I became rather concerned since I know the charge appeared on my credit card. The young man behind the window asked me if there was another name I would have registered under or if I had a confirmation E-mail, to which I responded in the negative to both queries. He showed me the list as well, but it turns out I didn't look carefully enough. After I had given him more information, it turns out that my name was on the list as "Jr., Thomas"(!!!) My complete legal name is Thomas C. Colicino, Jr., which I often use. The silly AI program picked up my last name from the suffix "Jr." LOL!! (So much for "intelligent" machines!!)
