What people say

We especially love going to the venue…

We especially love going to the venue of center for the arts at Coral springs It is easy to get in and out of It is relatively intimate and every view is a great view along with the most friendly and helpful staff. Gary Puckett and Union Gap were most entertaining and a lot of fun who couldn't believe he is really 82 years old If he didn't say it himself I would not have ever guessed it. Grassroots was also a very special treat and had terrific audience interaction. Both bands are the iconic bends of the '60s and '70s ..music I grew up with , have always loved and still do! Thank you for a most entertaining show, packed filled with great music.

Wrong time displayed

I bought tickets to a theatre play on Goldstar. Goldstar sent me a confirmation email stating that the show starts at 8:30pm. Unfortunately, show started at 7:30pm, and we missed it. The worst though is that I requested a refund from Goldstar, and so far they ignored me. It's been several weeks already.

Mixed experiences at best

First of all, the Rose Theatre in Phoenix has no signage and the street address is the front of a maze of multiple story stores, offices and other businesses. We asked at least a dozen people in these shops and stores and a uniformed security officer- no one knew it was a full half block in the other direction......Finally, a volunteer Phoenix Ambassador showed the single recessed door with a half sign that was not there when we walked by 30 minutes earlier. He suggested going to the hotel across the street for a drink to unwind. Tickets were supposed to be picked up 30 min before show time; The doors opened 10 minutes before and the show started late to wait for one large party. Our tickets said BEST AVAILABLE #1 and 2- one did not know it was basically benches in a rectangle. Not comfortable. There were no best available. The Drunk Shakespeare show had some very funny and well delivered segments. It also had some poor taste attempts at improv that failed- miserably. Finally, Goldstar promoted tickets beginning at $12. To guarantee a seat with a back (which we did really not have on the benches in a rectangle with a bookcase as the seat back???? ), the cost was $59 plus fees. First time using Goldstar - not a stellar beginning. Not sure if we will try again.

I felt the show was breathtaking

I felt the show was breathtaking. The chorography was steller, the talent was amazing. I loved the visual display on the ice that really made the storytelling magical. My only two critiques that made this a 4 star is there was a speaker off to my right side that when music was not being played you could hear the static. Second, which has nothing to do with the show itself was that a group of people thought it was a great idea to bring their 5 year kids and have them run around the scream loudly. SIDE NOTE: Please don't ever bring your young kids to a show if you know they can't stay quiet. Kids will be kids, but you know better to bring them or not. Not only did it dampen the experience for me and my kids, its distracting to the performers who require lots of focus to perform these dangerous stunts.

Acting was great

Acting was great, we liked the venue, the AC was a bit noisy at times. Street parking was easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even set up a photo booth outside the venue for their guests and offered complimentary coffee during the intermission. Overall we had a very pleasant evening.
