Highly recommend Grasshopper for service and setup ease
My experience with the Grasshopper representative was great. I wish I had gone to Grasshopper first after wasting over 10 hours trying to get two separate business accounts set up with AMEX. Since this was impossible with AMEX, I moved one account to Grasshopper and the ease of setting it up along with a customer service representative who immediately helped me with a glitch (on my part) has been great. I plan to move my first account with AMEX over to Grasshopper soon.

Working with Grasshopper was a breeze. Marcelo and Jaris were incredibly helpful and responsive to my questions. They made the SBA loan process incredibly simple and fast. Our loan took a little less than two months from the day of initial application to the day we closed. It could’ve been even less if I had sent the team the requested documents as needed just a little quicker. Grasshopper is my go-to bank for any future funding needs!
These guys make you jump through hoops that you wouldn't have to jump through with a real bank and have zero customer service skills. They'd just as soon lose a client with tens of thousands of dollars that they are collecting interest off of than to do something simple that every other bank does. They don't value your time and none of the employees, including management, appear to be capable of applying basic logic to solve problems.

I opened a grasshopper bank account for my business. And let me say it has been EXCRUCIATING. The deposit process is insane and then when I decide to move money around to different accounts, they have asked for all types of documentations. Never have I encountered such a hassle to get my money. WEEKS to move less than 5k. Terrible

The representatives attitude and pleasantness is what made this a great experience and makes me want to continue to do business with Grasshopper Bank. A bad attitude on the part of the rep or bad experience on the part of the customer as a result of the representative's poor attitude is the quickest way to destroy that relationship. Helpfulness is the other thing I liked. The representative did not just stop trying to assist; he worked with me until we figured it out. On another front, I like Grasshopper Banks devotion to staying up-to-date with the latest technology and tools for its customers. Being relevant means I will likely stick around. Consider paying a higher dividend on your business checking (Innovator). I am giving you tens of thousands of dollars for your use to lend back out and make more money in the form of interest income. I should be earning a higher rate on my interest.
Absolute scam of a company. Shady practices and no customer service. With so many banking options, DO NOT CHOOSE GRASSHOPPER. Still trying to get my lost money with they forced closed 100s of accounts for no reason other than they couldn't fulfill a bonus they claimed to offer.
