I did not get the clear contract of the services covered like I usually do with the other warranty companies I had before. There is a different name for the policy online and the one I bought. I do not know who to call in case I need service. I feel that the write up I got is very confusing and I am not very comfortable with this company. How much time if I decide to cancel the contract. I just feel that there is a bunch of words I do not understand and not enough clear information.
Evelyn made it all such a positive, easy & pleasant experience. She is the best!!!!
Tech was exceptional great!
It seems that the process that if my appliance could not be fixed it would be replaced. We did not abuse the use of the dishwasher. It was only 4 years old. It was a defective dishwasher. The idea behind a home warranty is the protect against defective appliances! I will not recommend you.
I already have a HWA policy on one home and have had excellent experience with any claims or communication....so I decided to take out another policy on my 2nd home. Representative Kyle Bryant was VERY helpful and efficient - a real asset to the company!
Filed the AC not cooling claim. The next day a technician made a service call and added freon to the AC unit.
I called to indicate one of the issues with my fridge continued. I was initially told the a lighting issue wasn’t covered by my plan. I pointed out that when entering a claim for a refrigerator lighting was an actual selection when filling out the form. Also, it was accepted as being covered when I submitted the claim initially. Once I pushed back it suddenly became covered. Also none of the dates I was given for the repairman to come out worked for me so I was told I’d have to call the repairman. That’s what I pay YOU to do.
Shouldn't take 4 days to have a AC tec. to come to my house when there's 3 AC company's within 2 miles of my house. Especially when the temperature in the house was over 90 degrees, Response time needs to be quicker to keep me as a customer.
THE ELECTRICIAN WAS PLEASANT, PROFICIENT AND ALL ABOUT GETTING THE PROBLEM SOLVED. HE WAS TOOK CARE OF THE ISSUE WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME AND I'VE BEEN SUPER HAPPY EVERY SINCE!
After waiting on hold for over 30 minutes I was told you don’t cover sinks. The service call was last Friday & since I had heard nothing in a week, I went online to check the status. My claim was closed without any updates! Why wasn’t I contacted to let me know? I’m very dissatisfied with my first HWA claim at this point & doubt I will renew after this!
The customer portal makes things super easy. from filing claims to tracking them and more. You’re able to see exactly what your plan covers on there. Read the fine print so you don’t get disappointed. Stuff that is covered has been a breeze to get it taken care of. Definitely considering renewing my coverage.
Great technician! Showed up on time and did a great job finding the issue and correcting it. Highly recommend
The company you sent was great. I would like to use them for any future claims I might encounter.
They were quick to get our concerns addressed and offered timely solutions on what our concerns were and addressed every one of them. Great company.
The water heater broke down and the coverage was 100% percent approved. Reed plumbing decided to charge us non covered charges at $1,565. HWA would not approve second opinion. If we paid for a seperate second opinion they would only pay us back $360.00. Its a double whammy. I have a local plumber who is ready to charge only 400$ for complete installation and I can buy a new unit and complete replacement would be around $1,000. But Reed plumbing wants money from HWA and $1,565 for me. The case managers did not cooperate and do not support the customers. I have been with them for several years but now lost trust completely. I am paying for everything by my self and closing account with them. Their contractors our ripping customers off and HWA dont care. They changed policies so we cant get second opinions and they wont pay our contractors the same way. They want to give you pennies if you cash out on the claim.
