So I ordered two skirts on January 1st
So I ordered two skirts on January 1st. On January 30th, I still hadn’t received any shipping notification. Over 4 weeks to ship two skirts is absolutely ridiculous. And without any contact from the company in the meantime to tell me what was going on. I was just left to believe they stole my money. I contacted them, and it took them over the 24 hours they promise to get back to me. They then explained that my brown wool skirt was out of stock (how was I able to order it if it was out of stock) and when I requested a refund since none of my products had shipped, all of a sudden the seamstresses were working on my brown wool skirt and they were shipping my green wool skirt to me. It takes 3-5 weeks to get products from China to Canada. I ordered these products for the winter. I was told my brown wool skirt will ship by February 10, which would be 6 full weeks since I ordered, and then add 3-5 weeks for shipping. They didn’t even offer me expedited shipping as a consolation for being so late. They offered me a “sorry for the inconvenience”. Doesn’t help at all! By the time the skirts get to Canada, winter will be almost over. I had such high hopes for Linennaive. I saved my money for months to buy the skirts and they are such a let down as a company. I had about 10 of their products saved to buy in the future and unless the company does something to improve their rating in my eyes, I won’t buy from them again. So unprofessional.

Perfect fit, lack of communication
The skirt I ordered fits perfectly according to the size chart, and the fabric and drape is wonderful. So that's PERFECT for the item I ordered. It would be a 5 star rating if it weren't for the lack of communication and transparency. I ordered Nov. 25th and paid extra for the express mail, delivery time should be 8 to 20 days. And then there was silence. Dec 15th I asked for the tracking number, no response. Dec. 18th I again asked for the tracking number and gave them two days to respond, otherwise I'd dispute the payment via Paypal. Now they responded, told me it might take a couple more days (it wasn't really urgent, I just wanted some communication) and I received a tracking number the next week. The skirt then arrived quickly and, like I said, it's PERFECT. I just think the company should be more transparent about their processing times, because they actually start makin the item after you ordered, and depending on how many orders they have it might be a month before the tailor gets to it.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY I ordered 3 skirts on the 26th of November. When the advertised 25days passed I emailed requesting my tracking number and was given the run around. I asked FOUR TIMES for confirmation that this order would arrive before I travelled (28th of December) And was told that it has yet to be shipped and that I could still cancel the order. I have been lied to and told that my order was “done” and ready to be shipped when it wasn’t. I was told a WEEK later that it was yet to be shipped and again today that I could still cancel my order. I have 3 emails from “Tracy” telling me the same thing - but I only just NOW received a tracking number (which doesn’t even work!!!) when I asked to cancel an order that I WONT RECEIVE BECAUSE I WONT BE IN AUSTRALIA ANYMORE!!! They ignored my request for a refund THREE TIMES!!!!! This is TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They should be more truthful about their times and shipping.
Poor quality and awful customer service
After ordering one of their coats I wore it a few times for very short periods. Despite the short sleeves and the ill fit I had decided to keep it. The buttons began falling apart (they were two piece buttons with fabric put over the top and stuck back together). The first top fell off when I was able to notice it and I reattached it. Unfortunately then 3 of the tops fell off while I was walking outside and I didn’t notice until later. After that 2 more buttons completely fell off. For this high price I would expect much better quality both in the buttons themselves and in the way they have been secured. When contacted the company said that they couldn’t take responsibility and offered me an $8 refund as I had already had a $15 discount when ordering the coat (still was $254 after the discount plus shipping). I had primarily heard about them on instagram and had only seen good things about the company so I was very shocked and disappointed at their response and unwillingness to meet me in the middle. Then I saw the truth of the matter when I saw all the negative experiences with them here. I have had to file a PayPal claim in the hopes I will be compensated at least a little bit for the poor quality and what it will cost me to replace the buttons and hire a tailor to fix them.
Bad customer service and bad clothes!
I ordered an extra large coat as is my size according to their chart and the coat is absolutely massive, there is no way it is XL. I asked for a refund and they offered me 20% return to get it tailored. When I tried to contact them again for the return form (which is not available on their website) they ghosted me. The coat was very expensive and I am very displeased with this service.
Wow...this coat is beautiful
Wow...this coat is beautiful. I have to admit that I was worried it would be too short, too small etc but it fits perfectly for a UK8. It's like something from a museum and I mean that in the most complimentary way! Heavy linen, very long, attention to detail, beautiful antique reddish colour. For reference I am 5'7" and it comes nearly to my ankles. I would definitely shop here again.
My Fair Lady Hooded Coat
I received my coat today - I’m amazed how quickly it got here! It’s very beautiful, I’m thrilled with it. And it fits perfectly - I appreciated Tracy's helpful advice on the sizing. I am 5' 7", 34.5 bust/29 waist/37 hips and the Small is just right. I think it is the most lovely coat I have ever owned.

Very Late Refund
I bought a skirt in September, when it arrived it didn’t suit me as I thought it would. So I paid £17 to return it to China and get a refund. It is now November and I still haven’t been refunded. Will not be shopping from here again!
Poor Craftsmanship
Bought the Hannah skirt. The decorative button popped off before I even got the skirt on. When I contacted Linennaive they told me this was a common problem and I could stitch it back on myself. It was the defining feature of the skirt! I wouldn't have bought it if I knew I'd be expected to attach it properly myself! They offered a $10 voucher, which is ridiculous as why would I buy anything else?

This fabric feels thin and synthetic. I have worked with proper linen, this is not even close. The fit on the arms is awful. I bought 3 long-sleeve shirts and they all have different sleeve lengths that are twisted. I hate the fit and I hate the feel in comparison to my homemade linen historic costume. #MakeItYourself In my intermediate seamstress experience these Linennaive products are worth max $40ea AUD with postage on top.

Poorly made, NIGHTMARE return process.
The products were not well made and were weirdly sized. That would all be forgivable, however to return them cost me $60 in shipping and had to be returned to China… and they have never actually refunded me. I placed my order in June and it’s now the end of August. In endless emails with them, they finally admitted they had never gotten the package from customs. Now I’m going to have to file a dispute with my credit card. I feel ‘naive’ for having ordered from them. Never again.
2 beautiful dresses, one successful exchange.
Ordered 2 dresses, which took a couple of weeks to arrive but I was expecting this. The items were of beautiful quality, one fitted great but the other was too tight(same size but different style). Needed to exchange one. After a few emails back and forth the best solution was to post on the dress to another UK customer who needed that size and then they would send me a replacement. This saved me a lot of money in shipping and I now have a beautiful dress that fits.
Not great delivery experience, but nice clothes
I had some headache with the shipping process. If you pay for express delivery, you need to take into account that it will take them at least week to post it. This is if the item is in stock. If it is not, you would need to wait for longer. The refund will also take some time. Also, except it says DHL, the express delivery is posted via FedEx - they explained that it is better. But it is never shown to the customer. I ordered two dresses separately not to pay for the tax, and they said that they will ship them together and claim the value of 20 dollars (weird?). That being said, my emails were replied to quite quickly, within a day or two, and I sent a lot of emails! Now, the items themselves (I received two dresses) are rather well-made. The fit is true to size, close to what is shown on the photo. One is better than the other, in my opinion, so probably it varies. The linen is thick but rather rough, before the wash at least. But this is the autumn/winter dress, so I do not mind. Overall, the quality was fine and somewhat what I expected for the price. The packaging is cheap though: plastic bags, compressed to fit a small package. The label tags are not sealed. If you are ok with waiting a bit, the clothes are not bad.

I was hesitant to order from this site because of the mixed reviews, but my entire experience was positive. I needed the items fast for a trip, so I paid for express shipping and Tracy at the shop had my items in the mail within a day or two and they arrived very fast. All the items fit exactly as described and are really beautiful. I'm sure returning would be difficult as it is for anything overseas, so I was really happy their measurements are so accurate. I'll definitely shop from here again.
