It really was an excellent experience and highly recommended. We couldn't land due to a very brief and localised rain shower and so Maverick refunded the entire cost, which I thought was extremely ethical. A very honest and professional company and highly recommended.

We got to see the Grand Canyon, Lake Mead, and the Vegas strip. The view was very beautiful and badass. At the end of the day though we got a breath-taking view of the Grand Canyon!! Nick was our pilot and he did awesome.

As I got in the helicopter my phone accidentally slipped out of my pocket & slipped in between my & my Sons seat, I couldn’t reach it as my harness was attached & it was very cosy with 3 passengers in the front, as the pilot got into his seat I mentioned to him that my phone had dropped out of my pocket & it was under the seat as my son was phoning it. He came back round opened my door & just said it wasn’t under the seat l & then got back in his & flew the chopper off leaving me phoneless with nothing to show video & photo wise.
When we landed in the Canyon ( very disappointing) I got out & retrieved my phone instantly, if only he had let me out at the airport ( 30 seconds maximum) I would of had memories of mine & my Sons trip.
Very disappointing experience & very underwhelming trip, far better taking the escorted coach trips as you’ll see more & the staff are probably more customer focused & friendlier than my pilot.PS if your in the back you won’t see much.

The air conditioning was not enough, and we were sweating throughout the helicopter ride. It was extremely uncomfortable. You should clearly inform customers about this before they book, as it significantly affects the overall experience. If we had known how hot it would be inside the helicopter, we would have reconsidered booking this tour.

Helicopters can become quite warm on the ground, particularly during the summer months in Southern Nevada. While our aircraft are equipped with ventilation and cooling systems, they are not able to provide the same level of air conditioning as a car or building, especially before takeoff or during periods of intense desert heat.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful even when we took a while to find personal identification. The flight gave us amazing views you can't appreciate from the ground and taken to both the south and north rim. The pilot was the making of the trip with friendliness, politeness, humor and interesting information. Good selection of merchandise available with good deals on Maverick caps. Overall a great experience, highly recommended.
