Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently praise the professional, polite, and knowledgeable pilots who share interesting local information and keep everyone feeling completely safe throughout the journey. Visitors are especially thrilled with the stunning aerial views of the deep canyons and the exceptionally smooth rides over the breathtaking local landscapes. However, some customers also noted that visiting during the peak summer season can make the outdoor environment quite hot during the tour. Travelers additionally mentioned that flight schedules and landing spots can occasionally be influenced by natural conditions like heavy cloud cover.
Auto-generated from all reviews of this business. For reference only.Fantastic view from the air ! And the pilot (a girl) was very professional, it was an excellent flight !
We're so happy to hear you enjoyed the fantastic views from the air! It's wonderful that your pilot's professionalism made for an excellent flight. Thank you!
We enjoyed the helicopter experience. The pilot was very friendly and highly professional. We would definitely recommend this experience. However, we were a little disappointed that, while waiting in the lounge before the flight, there was no coffee, water, or any refreshments available, even no cofee machine ….specially when you arrive early morning .Considering the price of the experience, this would have been a nice touch and would have been greatly appreciated. Secondly, when making the booking, we were asked to specify the occasion for the flight that was for our 30th wedding anniversary. We were therefore a little disappointed that there was no small gesture or special attention to acknowledge the event we had mentioned. Overall, we still recommend it.
We truly appreciate your kind words about our pilot's professionalism and your recommendation of the helicopter experience. We appreciate your honest feedback regarding refreshments at our terminal. We do have water/snacks available there for purchase. We do ask if you are celebrating a special occasion so it can be acknowledged and are sorry that did not happen. We will review that with our front desk and Ops team to ensure it is happening. Thank you for your comments, and for flying with us.

We booked the Wind Dancer tour 7:00am. Our Pilot was Ben. He was an excellent pilot, professional and knowledgeable. As we flew, he pointed out all the spots of interest and he also enjoyed listen to a music compilation of really good songs. I don’t know if he made up the playlist but it was awesome! I would definitely recommend the early flight as the temperature outside reached over 110 degrees. The helicopter seats 7 and based on weight some passengers flew up front with him. After we descend into the Grand Canyon, he switched up the seat assignment making it fair and enjoyable for everyone. We were lucky to have great travel mates aboard our helicopter which just added to the fun of the tour. Maverick Helicopter Tours is A+ company, their helicopter was nice looking and their headsets were good and working properly. We had the most amazing time and a bucket list and life time memory I shared with my adult children. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely do another tour at any one of their locations. I’m from Jersey and not easy to please, but I was definitely impressed and beyond satisfied.
We are absolutely thrilled to hear you had such an amazing adventure! It sounds like Ben provided an exceptional experience, and we're so glad his professionalism, knowledge, and even his music selection contributed to a memorable trip. We appreciate you highlighting the early flight recommendation and the fair seat assignments, as we always aim to make every guest's journey enjoyable. It's wonderful to know we could create a bucket list memory, and we truly value your recommendation and kind words about our company. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure at one of our other locations!
Amazing experience, definitely a big tick off the bucket list ! Sean our pilot was brilliant, he kept us up to date with our location and interesting facts along the way, and I must also mention his impeccable choice in music too !
We're absolutely thrilled to hear that your experience with us was an amazing bucket list adventure, and that your pilot took great care of you. Thank you for flying with Maverick Helicopters.
There really aren’t enough words to describe how incredible this experience was. It exceeded every expectation my family had. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our pilot, Tone, was absolutely outstanding! He was not only an exceptionally skilled pilot but also incredibly knowledgeable about Maui, sharing fascinating history and local insights throughout the flight. If you’re considering a helicopter tour, I can’t recommend Maverick Helicopters enough. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip, and I would book with them again without hesitation. In my opinion, it’s the best helicopter tour on Maui!
We're delighted to hear that your experience exceeded every expectation! It's wonderful to know our team was friendly and helpful, and that your pilot's skill and knowledge of Maui made the flight so incredible. We truly appreciate your high recommendation and look forward to welcoming you back for another tour!
