I've always liked Mexc
I've always liked Mexc, everything works smooth.
From trading platform to deposits and withdrawals.
They have many coins and don't delist coins by dozens when the trade volume is low for longer time.
If I had negative experiences I would name then too.
I had a good experience with Mexc.
There was another exchange I had a bad experience.
I don't call them by name because in general this exchange isn't bad either.
They delisted Michi, an exchange page from them said they had migrated to a new contract in March.
I didn't receive because the withdrawal was $Michi / MichiOLD wich is not listed on Mexc.
Long story short.
The withdrawal support said it's my responsibility to do research and I have sent.
Yes that is true, I pushed the send button and no one else.
Still it's not right because on the ticket is Michi instead of $Michi / MichiOLD.
Mexc support did answer very quick, their deposit ticket was Michi (new) and their listing is Michi ( new).
Everything okay from their side but still they gave me information on the transaction, recovery and that kind of things.

MEXC is one of the worst crypto…
MEXC is one of the worst crypto exchanges I have ever experienced. For more than 3 months, I have been trying again and again to withdraw my funds, but not even ONE withdrawal has ever been successful.
Every single time I request a withdrawal, they suddenly require another 24-hour or even 72-hour waiting period. After waiting, the withdrawal still fails or gets delayed again. Seriously, how many 72-hour waits do people have in their life? This has become ridiculous and feels completely unfair to users.
Customer support is useless and keeps sending repetitive automated replies without solving anything. There is always another excuse, another delay, another waiting period, but never an actual successful withdrawal.
A crypto exchange that constantly blocks or delays withdrawals cannot be trusted. Users should have immediate access to their own money, not endless waiting games and failed transactions.
Based on my experience, MEXC behaves like a scam exchange. I strongly recommend everyone stay away from this platform unless you want stress, frustration, and your funds trapped for months.

Hello Sir/Madam
Hello Sir/Madam, I have been using your platform for quite a long time and it has been very good and excellent. I have been trading here for a long time and never faced any issue before. However, last night my entire capital was wiped out even though I did not open any trade. I have also sent you an email regarding this issue. Could you please look into my problem?

MEXC Global is intentionally…
MEXC Global is intentionally withholding my 2,999.985 USDT principal asset. They charged me a recovery fee after marking my case as "PASSED" and promised a return by March 23, 2026. They then reneged on this promise, citing generic "technical limitations."
The assets are verified on-chain in their custodial wallet. I have officially reported this fraud to the Singapore Police Force (SPF) under case E/20260325/0126.
To all potential users: MEXC will take your fees and keep your deposits. Do not trust their "system-generated" promises. I will not stop until my funds are returned.

Forced liquidations
MEXC used to work well but now they are triggering forced liquidations even if you have a stop loss. They dont care. They use the excuse of "Fair Price" to say that the stop loss was invalidated. They've done this to me a few times and I lost thousands of dollars. I will be closing my account.
Edit: I DID use a stop loss. MEXC completely ignores your stop losses and takes your money. Do NOT deposit anything to their platform. I also DID talk to customer support and they gave me the same bull as the reply below.

Hi, we are sorry for your unpleasant experience. The forced liquidation of orders is affected by many factors. If you have any questions about your forced liquidation order, we suggest you contact our online customer service at any time. We will be happy to help you.
Futures trading involves various types of risks and may not be suitable for all investors. We recommend exploring different risk management strategies, such as using take-profit and stop-loss functions or adopting low-leverage trading.

Danger, better to stay away
Be careful with this ambiguous, money-hungry, and fraudulent exchange.
It claims to be a “free exchange with optional KYC” (and in the past, it really was).
Lately, however, things have changed: KYC remains optional for those who have nothing in their wallets; the moment you start making some movement, they require documents in order to withdraw the funds.
Mexc has clearly decided to bend over for the new invasive and hyper-controlling regulations imposed by the dictatorial governments currently in power; yet it continues to call itself “a free exchange with optional KYC.”
Exact words from the service center: “In accordance with regulatory requirements, platform users must cooperate with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) verification. You can learn more in the User Agreement.”
This directly contradicts their own rules, which clearly state that KYC is optional and only needed to unlock advanced features. It should only come into play after a certain limit, which I have absolutely not exceeded.
Be careful.
Any amount you have in their wallets is worth less than your privacy and security.
When they talk about security, they mean *their* security: the security of being able to survive at our expense by licking the feet of governments that want to empty our pockets.
Putting your documents in the hands of people who behave like this is far from safe; on the contrary, it is an action likely to cause huge problems and complications.

To: MEXC Compliance / Legal / Risk Control Department,
This letter serves as a FINAL FORMAL NOTICE regarding a documented fraud incident that occurred through the MEXC P2P trading platform and the subsequent failure of MEXC to provide effective buyer protection despite clear evidence of counterparty misconduct.
Case Reference:
Order ID: d1707614400587842562
Transaction Amount: 336.8898 USDT
Fiat Paid: 14,705.24 UAH
Date of Incident: April 19, 2026
I, as the buyer, fully complied with all payment obligations and transferred the requested fiat funds exactly according to the seller’s instructions provided inside the official MEXC P2P order chat.
The seller required payments to three separate bank accounts, and all requested transfers were completed.
Despite full payment being made:
- the seller did not release the USDT,
- the order was closed/cancelled,
- the seller ceased communication,
- and my fiat funds were irreversibly lost.
All transfer confirmations, bank receipts, screenshots of payment, and complete chat evidence were submitted through the MEXC appeal process.
MEXC has officially acknowledged in its written response that:
1. no response was received from the seller for an extended period;
2. the seller account has been frozen under MEXC P2P Appeal Handling Rules.
This acknowledgment confirms that MEXC itself recognized severe counterparty non-cooperation and fraudulent conduct.
However, despite:
- the fraud occurring entirely within MEXC’s P2P infrastructure,
- the seller operating as a verified participant on your platform,
- payment instructions being issued through MEXC chat,
- and MEXC confirming seller misconduct,
MEXC has refused to provide:
- buyer fund recovery assistance,
- escrow restitution action,
- reimbursement review,
- or any meaningful buyer protection remedy.
This creates a serious appearance that MEXC P2P permits sellers to collect fiat payments, abandon transactions, and leave buyers without effective platform safeguards.
Your support team’s recommendation that the victim should simply contact local authorities while MEXC disclaims operational responsibility is not an acceptable resolution for a fraud event facilitated inside your own marketplace.
This letter also serves as formal notice that the full documented case file, including:
- Order ID,
- payment evidence,
- bank recipient details,
- seller non-performance,
- MEXC written admissions,
- and all support correspondence
is now being prepared for public dissemination across:
- Trustpilot
- Reddit anti-scam communities
- Sitejabber
- Reviews.io
- X/Twitter public threads
- independent crypto scam reporting platforms
- consumer fraud review portals
- SEO-indexed English-language media publications
under the classification:
“MEXC P2P Buyer Protection Failure / Platform-Enabled Fraud Loss Report”.
In addition, formal complaint packages are being escalated to financial compliance, virtual asset service monitoring, and consumer fraud reporting bodies to document MEXC’s refusal to provide an adequate buyer-protection response after acknowledging seller misconduct.
Before these public and regulatory escalations are finalized, I am providing MEXC one final opportunity to issue:
1. a formal written explanation of why buyer fund protection was not enforced;
2. clarification of MEXC’s liability position in seller-confirmed fraud cases;
3. details of any restitution or internal compensation review available to affected users.
If no substantive response is received, this case will proceed as a publicly documented reputational incident associated directly with MEXC P2P risk management failure.

MEXC published false and defamatory information about me, which has damaged my reputation. It’s ironic that a platform spreading misinformation isn’t even registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). I urge others to be cautious when dealing with them

Hello, what specific problem did you encounter?
If you have any problems using MEXC, you are welcome to consult our 24/7 live chat at any time. Thank you for your understanding. Have a nice day.
Traded under a “0-fee” promo, grew my account ~$200→$430.
Then fees were applied without clear real-time notice — I paid ~$330 in fees within a short period (not market loss).
Support says “risk control.” If so, why not restrict trading instead of letting fees accumulate?
This raises serious concerns about transparency. I have full logs/screenshots and can provide evidence.
This feels designed to benefit the platform more than the user.
I wouldn’t recommend this platform, and I’m willing to share my experience and evidence with anyone who asks.
Update (after MEXC’s response):
I have been following up on this issue for over 7 days.
The only explanation provided is that my account was considered “high risk.” However, instead of restricting or freezing the account, the platform removed the zero-fee condition without any clear or visible notice and allowed trading to continue.
As a result, nearly 75% of my account was deducted as trading fees, while only a small portion was actual market loss.
This raises serious concerns about how “risk control” is applied, it appears to benefit the platform rather than protect the user.
I have full documentation and trade history to support this.

I used to love MEXC but they're scammers
I used to love MEXC. However they recently did something really dirty. They allowed me to deposit crypto without giving any warning that they would hold on to the crypto without a KYC verification. Had they announced or displayed during the deposit phase this would've been acceptable but they chose to hide the information until the deposit had been made. It's theft worthy of a class action lawsuit.

Too bad experience. I saw their ad that you get bonus for registration and completing trading tasks. I signed up, did kyc , deposited and traded I even lost money in completing task to get bonus but they just rejected it without any reason. I filed a complaint but they didn't care.
Don't use their service all they care about is their own business not your money. Your money and emotions don't matter for them

Mexc is a company who not exist and without license who not respect any laws
Mexc lock my funds without providing them "Advanced KYC". I have never a balance of more than 5k $ on my account and less than the 1 BTC value for simple KYC (advanced KYC = 200 BTC..). My account isn't recent many years old and can use it since many years without any issue.
Without notice, withdrawal of less than 10 USD in value is locked. I can deposit, trade, all is open just can't recover my funds who already trigger a red flag. Support confirmed than I can win/deposit more. Meaning "increases the mexc theft haul".
I just want to share with anyone what the laws said :
If you are dealing with an entity that claims to be a bank but has no legal existence and refuses to return your funds, this is no longer a standard compliance procedure (KYC/AML). It's theft via a financial scam. In a legal framework, even if funds are frozen for AML verification, a bank must be able to prove it's licensing. The lack of legal existence is the definitive sign of fraud.
=> This company can't tell me where is located their HQ, CEO name or any legal address to send them a legal mail with tracking and proof of receipt. Many country have already black listed Mexc because haven't any license meaning not respect any rules.
Scammers often use "anti-money laundering" as a pretext to justify freezing funds and demanding sensitive documents.
A legitimate bank that rejects a client for non-compliance is obligated to return the funds to the original sending account. Refusing to return the money is a theft.
=> Mexc refuse to justify any reason and I haven't received any notice about that until I try to do a very small withdrawal.
I ask my funds returned back from their original source and refuse to do that. Refuse too to close my account and send back funds or give me money physically. Refuse to give me a physical office address for live verification without share or be able to keep any private/personnal data. ID theft is very frequent and your data will go on dark web often reselled.
Red flags :
- Absence of a verifiable banking license from regulators
- The entity isn't listed on official commercial registers.
Mexc is unable to respond at anything and repeat always the same sentences since days when the problem should be solved within 24h.
EDIT due to their reply : However, Mexc response is a very general one.
If they are sorry, they will resolve the issue as quickly as possible, comply with the laws and return funds to rightful owner just as every bank does without stolen funds.
