This is the worst international money transfer company. They canceled my transfer for no reason. Support does not know why. Don't use Moneygram. Use Xoom. Xoom has good manner support. I recommend Xoom. I will never use Moneygram again.

After a bad experience with another money transfer app, I was nervous about sending money internationally again. I decided to try MoneyGram to send money from the US to Bangladesh, and my experience has been very positive. The app is easy to use, and the verification process felt secure and professional. Unlike some other services, Moneygram asked me to verify my identity using my ID before processing the transfer, which gave me confidence that the platform takes security seriously. My transfer was approved within minutes, and I received an email confirming that it had been completed. At first, I was worried because the money did not immediately appear in the recipient’s bank account. I contacted customer support, and they explained that the transfer had been completed successfully and that the bank might need additional time to process the deposit. The next day the money arrived exactly as promised. Since then, I have continued using direct bank deposits through Moneygram and have not faced any issues. While some other remittance apps may deliver funds instantly, Moneygram has always delivered my transfers safely and reliably. The first transfer was free, and although there is a fee of $1.99 for later transfers, I believe the service is worth it. Overall, I have had a great experience and would recommend Moneygram to anyone looking for a dependable way to send money internationally.

DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY

Rang MoneyGram UK for assistance to get a refund for a Cancelled Transaction. They were helpful & gave me a New Ref Number to quote at the MoneyGram office. MoneyGram is in the Post Office on Giles St. Northampton. VERY, VERY Unhelpful firstly they Insisted on a Hard Copy Form [this is Not Issued by MoneyGram UK]. finally was told they don't hold CASH so I have to go in every day in hope they have Cash to Pay Out. It's a 6 mile trip. THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO TRADE IN UK THEY ARE A CON.

I cannot believe how seemless the process was. Monies were received in minutes. I used to go to the bank and pay a wire transfer fee, now I am done in less than 2 minutes and the fee is minimal!

Money didn't refund

August 1, 2023 I sent the money to my friend hundred dollars and they did in give me the refund. This company is a scam. They said it's a glitch. I sent it to the wrong account number. That's why they didn't refund me. by the policy, even though I sent it to the wrong account number they're supposed to give it back because it's their computer problem before that. Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful. Every time I want to make a transfer, no matter the amount, I am required to prove "source of funds". This I have done repeatedly and this requirement delays every transfer by at least two days. So what should be done in minutes, takes three days plus additional emails and phone calls. I am actively looking for an alternative.

Transaction made 5/6 money dissapeared in a black hole .

I made a tranaction with Moneygram 5/6 -2026. Money was withdrawn from my account. I paid with Trustly. Moneygram says they havent received the money. Trustly clamis money is receied by Moneygram. I received a transaction number from Trustly which I sent to Moneygram customer service. After discussing the case with customer service the case was escalated to a special department 25/6 and I was promised an answer within 10 working days. I hear nothing from Moneygram and 14/7 I contacted customer service again. Customer service at Moneygram told me that my case was closed without any action. I asked why I wasn´t informed. Customer service response was: Do you want us to create a new case at special department and wait an additional 10 working days? Today 17/7 I received a mail from Trustly that money is refunded. So money is found. But Moneygram did not provide any feedback. I have sent feedback to Feedback address mentioned by Monygram twice and never received even a confirmation mail.

Attention, MONEYGRAM SCAM

Attention, SCAM. Still waiting for a solution of a blocked transaction but they pretend being deaf. They take money in 2 secondes from my bank account, and when i prove they have a problem, each time they say wait 10 days. Now after 5 days of waiting, they tell me to be patient for more 10 days. Are these people sick or what ? They do not give any solution. What a bullshit service. My lawyer is in charge now. Do not use this service. And stop showing hou care about your customers here in reviews. All you do is just but drama
