What people say

The emails from numberbarn were sent…

The emails from numberbarn were sent consistently to let me know it was in progress. It only took three days for my number to port to metro by T-Mobile. I was more than satisfied with my experience with Numberbarn. Don’t worry if it takes a little longer. They say in their faq page it can take up to 10.

Hey Felix, we love this! So glad your port to Metro was successful. Thanks so much for your review!

Customer service by chat is saying 2 days to resolve issue which they resolved after 1 day threathening them to contact FCC lost money from number not working. Did a CC dispute they contacted me pay and another fee or they will steal back the number i paid it and they told me they will refund the money that i paid for minutes but not the number which they never did.

Hi YG, thank you for your review. I was able to spend some time reviewing your ticket and interacting with you and working to resolve this misunderstanding. From our perspective, you signed up for service and began using our call forwarding service in a way that exceeded the scope of our terms of service. It was a high volume of concurrent calls in a short period of time. When you contacted support, our frontline team said that it might take 2 days to receive a response. A member of our team responded to you within 3 hours but by that time you had already initiated a port to another service provider. Your number actually ported away in approximately 6 hours. We could have worked with you to fix the issue with calling but you had already left NumberBarn at that point. As such, we didn't make any further attempts to resolve the issues with your calling. In the end, we refunded all fees you paid to use our monthly service. The only fee you paid for was the set up fee for the number which you are successfully using with another phone service provider. It seems that your biggest issue with our service was that you were unable to call our support team on the phone. It is true that we don't have an inbound support phone number but a member of our team did communicate by live chat and email and you received a response from Tier2 within 3 hours. I'm very sorry that there wasn't a more satisfactory resolution to this situation and wish you all the best with your new service provider.

Hi Moshe, we really do our best to help our customers port quickly but still tell customers it could be 7-10 business days. Your port was particularly challenging, requiring that we interact with multiple different companies to complete it. Thank you for your patience and communication throughout the process as our porting team worked to get this done.

NumberBarn Goes Beyond an A+ Company

I had a very difficult time getting a phone number because I wanted my old number and contacted NumberBarn. to help me. I finally contacted my old carrier and asked them to release my old number because I could no longer afford their phone line charges since they raised it 150%. It took about an hour and three agents, but they promised my old number would be released in five days so the company I will be getting my phone through will be able to access it in five days. After weeks of trying to get my old number, and NumberBarn's constant search for a similar number, with requests to release my old number, I hoped to retrieve it. NumberBarn gave me the direction I required. I cannot thank them enough for their support and patience with dealing with my situation. There are people who do care and I am blessed that NumberBarn took the time and had the patience to deal with this frustrating problem. NumberBarn is a company that went beyond I would ever expect and I am truly grateful. I am writing a review so people will feel confident in dealing with an A+ company that cares. . T. Arison

MY mistake but THEIR solution!

In a rush, I accidentally bought the wrong variation of my desired number (wrong area code) which after all the taxes and fees came to almost $700. I had to finish designing my advertising media that night, so I couldn't wait and so I spent that amount AGAIN to secure the proper number. The next day, I told a salesperson at NumberBarn about my foolish mistake. I was told he would look into it but was reasonably sure he could reverse the sale. The next day I had an email confirming that the entire payment for the first number was being reimbursed to my bank account.

Prompt Friendly Service

I had the pleasure of speaking with Aracely Hernandez today. She was very upbeat, knowledgeable, funny, & I could tell by her demeanor she really enjoys what she does. NumberBarn allowed me to purchase a phone # I had longed for for a long time but had no idea how to go about it. So also a shoutout to Jeff from Verizon, a business tech, who turned me onto NumberBarn

Hi Jay, I see that you reached out to our support team asking for a refund. Please find that I have issued you a refund for your purchase which you'll see in 3-5 days. It doesn't look like you asked for help porting your number but our support team is always happy to assist. Take care and just reply to the support ticket if we can assist further.

Rough start, but good recovery by NumberBarn

I found a phone number I wanted and submitted an offer. In order to do that, I had to create an account with my email, set up a password, and provide my debit card information. They also placed a hold on my card. Right after that, I could not log in because it kept saying my password was wrong. I tried the password reset option multiple times, but never received a reset email. I contacted support, and their first reply asked me to provide personal account information for verification, including my full name, email, service address, and phone number. I sent them everything they requested. After that, instead of fixing the problem, they replied saying it “sounds like a job for our Solutions Team.” Hours went by with no resolution. When I followed up again and asked what was taking so long and told them to just refund my money, I got another delayed reply saying it now “sounds like a job for our billing team.” So basically, I got passed from one team to another with no actual help, no password reset, no access to the account, no update on whether my offer was accepted, and no immediate refund. To make matters worse, this happened right before the weekend, so now I’m left waiting days for something that should have been a very simple fix. What makes this even more frustrating is that instead of resolving the login problem, they started quoting refund policies and restocking fees. I wasn’t even trying to return a number I successfully bought and used — I was trying to access the account I had just created and deal with a problem on their end. The whole experience has felt disorganized, slow, and frustrating. Based on my experience, their customer service was poor and the process is far more complicated than it should be and I’m still currently waiting for a resolution and or my money back. **Update 4/1/26** My initial experience was frustrating because I ran into account/login issues right after trying to place an offer, and getting help felt slower and more confusing than it should have been. That said, after I posted my review, NumberBarn did reach out directly, explained what happened, and resolved the issue. I appreciate that they followed up and made it right. So while the original experience was disappointing, I do want to give them credit for their response and resolution. Thank you to NumberBarn for taking care of it.

Hey Courtney, thank you for your thorough review. I've looked into this and can definitely see where we bounced you around a couple of times and agree that this is not a great experience. It looks like you were trying to make an offer on a number and our system required you to either login or create an account. You didn't actually have an account in our system so your login attempts were failing. That said, I see that the authorization to your credit card was canceled. I sent you an email explaining this further. We'd love to help you get that telephone number. Feel free to respond and I'll make sure to connect you with the right person to get this done. I hope to hear from you soon. UPDATE: Thank you for your updated review, Courtney! I'm glad we could work with you to make sure the billing and everything was correct. If we can help in the future don't hesitate to reach out.

NumberBarn Saved My Social Life!

I was this close to settling for some random, forgettable T-Mobile number that sounded like it was generated by a bored robot. You know the type: 555-867-5309’s less cool cousin. Then I Googled “cool phone numbers” in a moment of desperation and boom – NumberBarn appeared like a fairy godmother with a sense of humor. Not only did they hook me up with a genuinely memorable number (my friends now call me instead of texting “who dis?”), the whole process was ridiculously smooth. If you can handle basic porting and don’t panic when you see words like “eSIM” or “unlock,” you’ll be golden. I felt like a tech wizard and I’m basically still using dial-up in my soul. Zero drama, fair prices, and super fast support when I had a tiny question, and now I have a phone number so good it deserves its own Instagram handle. If you’re tired of boring digits and want something that actually sticks in people’s heads, stop whatever you’re doing and go to NumberBarn right now. 10/10. Would port again. Might even name my future pig after them. Highly, highly recommended!

Reply from NumberBarn2026-03-24

Hi Dave, in keeping with the whole "pig" theme, we refer to happy customers as "tickled pink." We read your review in our company-wide meeting today and were tickled pink to hear about your experience. Thank you for taking the time to share this! This was a fun one to read and respond to.

Rogue app

Rogue app. Do not sign up. Took me a month to port out my number. LLC is all you need to remember on the name , “Number Barn LLC” when you see that it screams I’m making sure you don’t sue me because I’m a POS “company”

Reply from NumberBarn2026-03-18

Hi Sarah, I'm sorry to hear that you think we're a scam or POS company. I'm interested in hearing more about your experience to see if we can make it right. I've requested information on TrustPilot and hope you'll respond.

Not Responding to My PORT OUT Request of 12-2025

I have had a landline number parked at NumberBarn for a number of years. They deduct a monthly fee from my checking account. Starting in December, I tried to PORT OUT that number only to get an automatic message: "We are unable to display porting information for this telephone number. Please click the button below to request the Customer Service Record and a member of our team will respond within 24 - 48 hours." I "Request CSR" and go thru whatever prompts are necessary. NOTHING HAS HAPPENED SINCE DECEMBER 2025!!!!! No response. No email. No message from customer support. AND THEY STILL TAKE THE MONTHLY PAYMENT OUT OF MY CHECKING ACCOUNT!$#!!! I NEED TO PORT OUT THE NUMBER that they are holding. Can anyone help?? There is no tele # for their customer service. I keep trying and trying to get an answer from them thru the website. They never respond.

Hi, we've requested more information about your account and number. Please respond or send another ticket to NumberBarn attention "Jeremy" and we'll be sure to help you port. I apologize in advance for a frustrating situation. We'll most certainly work to make it right.

I used Numberbarn to port some difficult numbers…

I used Numberbarn to port some numbers that were in a very small, rural area that I could not port. I tried a few vendors, none could do it. Finally, I found NumberBarn. Success. And they communicated throughout the process. Very great experience! Real Pros!
