NO PHONE NUMBER TO CALL - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I previously used Number Barn and they were great. Now, they no longer have a phone to call to get help and you have to wait for them to send an email a week or so later.... if you are lucky. I paid for numbers and can't port them out because their PIN doesn't work. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Hi Justin, I'm glad we could connect by phone. This ended up being a fairly simple issue where your gaining carrier entered the incorrect account number causing the port request to fail. We sent multiple automated emails over the course of the week alerting you to this error. You contacted us around 1pm on Wednesday and the issue was resolved within 48 hours.
As we discussed, the root issue here is that we didn't have live channel customer support available to you, either by phone or chat. For customers looking for an inbound contact center to call, NumberBarn currently doesn't offer that level of support. But if customers request a call, we do our best to accommodate that request. And we are definitely evaluating the customer support channels we offer moving forward. Thank you for sharing your experience.
NumberBarn is a quality service and truly provides a workable and useful telecommunication option for me at home or on the road. Their service is reliable and each of its various parts, to include SMS messaging, in coming and out going calls, voice messaging, email notification of message and calls received, and functionality across platforms and devices, are well integrated and operate seamlessly. Their pricing is reasonable and is a true value for the money. Having been a customer for some time now I have the highest praise for NumberBarn, so much so that I felt it was worth an unsolicited review post on TrustPilot. NumberBarn is an outstanding wireline provider!!

Worked great for me! I bought a number that I liked, and I ported it to the Mint cell service on my new Pixel phone. I felt like I just barely knew what I was doing and I was worried something would go wrong, but it went really smoothly and happened much faster than I expected. I like that the website is very clear about what to expect, has info on landline vs cell line, etc... it didn't seem like they were hiding anything. I would definitely use again!!

Overall it is the worst customer service I have encountered. I lost my phone and need my phone number for account verification. As present, I am unable to get a sim to reactivate my t mobile account and my cell does not have esim capability. I requested to port my number to numberbarn and for some strange reason my request was cancelled. I contacted numberbarn thru their support (which is email) and each time I was told a person would contact me in 24 hours to give me status and a solution. I sent 4 or 5 request to support and only rec'd a standard reply that numberbarn support would get back to me in 24 hours --never happened. If all goes thru with out a problem, no issues with numberbarn. But a company is mainly judged on how they handle problems. With that being said, I would not use numberbarn. I will cancel my request and go else where

So far it’s been great. Matthew has went above and beyond to help me start the process and navigate even if it meant me obtaining a number that they could not get going through another carrier. He was so on top of it that I am probably going to get a number from them. Customer service has been great.

I tried really hard to sign up with a competitor at first, that ends with xxxx.ms
But they were so complicated, rude and asked for lot of information.
When I found Numberbarn, everything just flowed naturally, just as I wanted. Easy setup, easy instructions, customer service reached out when they needed my attention on things.
Numberbarn will be my go to for porting numbers and virtual numbers now.

Awesome customer service, unbeatable prices, unbelievable that it offers this whole, full cell phone convenient kit at a fraction of the price than the cheapest Canadian prepaud card plans. Great company for WEB and VOIP services with outstanding customer service
I have used NUMBER BARN for several web services and VoiceOver IP services and found them to be reasonably priced and offering exceptional customer service. I definitely recommend them as a solid alternative to several other providers out there.

UPDATED: on 23 October 2025, I "jumped the gun" and PINNED-OUT and STARTED THE PARKING PROCESS TOO EARLY. MY screw-up. JUSTIN, their AGENT: TO THE RESCUE. He was able to defer our Number Parking until the Day we leave America for the EU for nearly 6 months. THESE ARE THE PEOPLE TO TRUST. Well done, Number Barn and NO, I am not a paid shill. In the case of really good telephone numbers, like the one you purchased, it's possible they were used in the past and we have zero insight into that previous usage. That said, there are companies like Hiya, TNS and FirstOrion that allow you to register your name/brand for free to clear up the number's reputation with the major wireless carriers.
We've had great luck with this in the past and hope this works for you. Keep us posted!

Also my email has been banned. There is no other way to contact them! only email!
Fortunately I don't have any active service with them but it seems like a high risk company to work with.

Hi Fatemeh, I took a look at your account and it looks like it did not pass our initial account security check due to a number of risk factors. I can assure you that we did not charge your credit card or anything of that nature. If you know what triggered this, you are welcome attempt to sign up again.
I had suspension of service, which was essential for our operations. We were assisted, and after a few days (just 20 days -too many for our judgment), the problem was resolved.
