I feel like I am being forced to send…

I feel like I am being forced to send the following to formally dispute an error regarding a payment made to payoff my personal loan that no one within this organization appears to be able to resolve. All of this happened because a phone representative advised that the initial check may not make it due to being sent to the address on my credit report. The check in question is what was sent to the correct address based of the advice of the Prosper representative and their check processing system continues to “Fail” the new check in the same amount in spite of having my funds in their account exhibited by front and back copies of the canceled check: To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally dispute an error regarding a payment made to payoff my personal loan. Prosper Marketplace recently informed me that my payoff payment had "failed." This claim is factually incorrect and contradicted by formal banking records. On June 22, 2026, a physical check was mailed made payable to Prosper Funding LLC in the amount of $25,935.00 to fulfill the payoff quote provided by the credit reporting bureaus. According to the financial institution the funds came from, Prosper Funding LLC successfully accepted, endorsed, and cashed this check on June 26, 2026. The funds were fully deducted from the associated account, meaning Prosper has been in possession of the $25,935.00 since that date. I have attached a clear, front-and-back copy of the legally canceled check as absolute proof of payment. The endorsement stamp on the back confirms that the check was routed directly into Prosper’s processing network. Because the loan has been paid on, I demand that Prosper immediately take the following actions: Locate and properly credit the $25,935.00 payment to my account. Backdate the payment credit to the exact date it cleared my bank to remove any unfairly accumulated interest NSF or late fees. Place an immediate administrative freeze on my account while this internal routing error is resolved to protect me from collections activity, or negative credit reporting. If this matter is not resolved within three (1) business days of receiving this email, I will immediately elevate this case by filing formal complaints with copies of this evidence to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and my State Attorney General's office.
