What people say

Agent was extremely helpful and pleasant

Agent was extremely helpful and explained things very well. I know I was a little rough in my conversation with her when we started talking. I apologize for that. I was not happy with the agent I talked with yesterday. Today's agent was perfect and pleasant. Although I'm familiar with how pricing works, she never cut me off when asking a question. She was extremely patient.

A person named Hanna assisted me

A person named Hanna assisted me. The first thing I asked of her at the very beginning of our conversation was whether SaveOnEnergy was part of the Texas PUC and she assured me "yes" it was. My second question was whether SaveOnEnergy earned a commission for assisting me with signing up for an electric plan. After our conversation, I googled SaveOnEnergy and found that it is NOT part of the Texas PUC and that it DOES earn a commission. Therefore, I was lied to and cannot trust that the entity Hanna signed me up with, Octopus, is the best match for my needs or does it simply pay the highest commission.

She took her time with me and made sure…

She took her time with me and made sure I understood everything as I did not understand the guy I talked to last week. She’s assured me that I would not be built anything by the company that he. Even though it took a long time most, especially for her she really took her time and wanting me to understand what it was.

Stop asking so many ridiculous…

Stop asking so many ridiculous questions. Learn that yeah and yes mean exactly the same thing. Stop explaining that usage dictates the amount of the bill. Everyone knows that. Those that don't can't be helped

Hi, Charles. Thank you for your feedback. We understand that some of the questions during the enrollment process can feel repetitive or tedious. While some information is required as part of the enrollment process and to meet compliance requirements, other questions help us understand your energy needs and explain how factors like usage may impact plan pricing. We appreciate your feedback and will continue looking for ways to make the experience as clear and efficient as possible.

Had to go through the entire process…

Had to go through the entire process twice as the first person hung up on me after the DL Verification. Poor Customer service.

Hi, Jarratt. Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand how frustrating it can be to have a call disconnected and then have to repeat the enrollment process. If a call ends unexpectedly, we're only able to call back if consent was provided during the call. We appreciate you bringing this experience to our attention and welcome any additional details at [email protected].

Plan was changed to a different Carrier

When I had selected a plan they told me that it was no longer being offered and offered me Rhythm Energy. Half way through the process my call got disconnected and the rep I was speaking to never called me back. I waited 10 mins and then called back. When I spoke to another rep I had to go through the whole process again and I noticed that the numbers kept changing. I was not able to review this company and I am counting on the information they gave me will be what I was told that my plan was offering. I should have just hung up the first time when they told me the plan I wanted was no longer being offered. I like to do my own research.
