I have subscribed to the Seeking Alpha platform as a premium member for several years now. On June 10th, 2026 I renewed my subscription for $539 @ 24 months. 29 days later, on July 9th, Seeking Alpha cut off my access to my paid account without giving me a reason. They have refused to reinstate my account and refused to refund my money. In other words, Seeking Alpha has committed fraud against me and stolen over $500 from me. If you are considering buying a membership from Seeking Alpha I suggest you run from them as fast and far as you can.

I trialled the Seeking Alpha subscription. I did not receive a notification email of an upcoming payment and when my trial ended I was charged for a full years subscription. I immediately (within 2 hours) emailed SA asking them to cancel and refund me. They refused and just said get to learn the product. No response to my follow up email. This reeks of a business desperate for cash. Be careful taking part in a trial, the service is ruthless, recommend avoiding this business.

Very problematic service and completely useless customer service. They had just auto billed me for an annual service without sending any reminders beforehand. The customer service was disastrous and not helpful at all and only repeated saying they send email reminder when in fact I have received none. Completely unprofessional customer support that would not investigate on the matter and only repeated the same statement over and over again like a bot. Do not subscribe to SA, it’s a scam and there’s no customer support when you need help. And frankly SA doesn’t have much quality content and it’s more like advertising materials on their site.

subscribed to alpha picks in May end 2026, their three recommendations so far have performed very poorly and investment in strong buy is down by 10 % in 5 weeks, latest recommendation on july 1st is down 20 % within 4 days, so this service not worth it. regret joining this and money wasted

Be very careful with seeking alpha subscription. They do automatic renewal and there is no refund and 14 day cooling period. If you miss their email reminder you loose 300+ dollars. UK consumers has no protection.

Just a bunch of frauds. You get nothing for the first $300, only the option to pay more to get something else. Literally I could get more and better researched info from Motley Fool googling w/o even paying MF. Again. Just a bunch of frauds. Stay away. I tried to not renew my subscription - after they debited my credit card when I didn't want them to, but was unable. All they want is your money.

Great Customer Support. We needed to cancel our subscription and the representative was very helpful in assisting us in this. Seeking Alpha is a good site for investing information. I would recommend it to any retail investor. The customer support is such an added benefit.

Seeking Alpha is one of several quant data services. It is U.S. based and does not deal with foreign stocks unless traded on a U.S. exchange. It rates stocks from a high of strong buy to a low of strong sell, with a numerical score up to 4.99. Its flagship service at extra cost is Alpha Picks, begun on 7/1/2021 which forthrightly sets out its performance, which is excellent, over 400% gain against under 100% for the S&P 500. With AP one is expected to buy a new stock on the 1st and 15th of each month (or the next trading day). Seeking Alpha itself is a forum for paid and free advisors and commenters as well as a quant evaluator. There is some secrecy to how its ratings are calculated. Stockopedia, a UK quant data provider with a worldwide focus has a different methodology and its ratings may conflict with SA/AP. Furthermore certain sectors to not lend themselves to useful ranking and some famous multibaggers have low ranks. Forums on both those services allow users to express grievances, make suggestions, and share tips. I can recommend either or both as against any advisory service or any broker or advisor who charges 1% and leaves the customer with gains not much different from an index fund. Both services also provide guidance and help in selecting ETFs.

the site is well organized and easy to navigate. The way the portfolios are set up is great, there is plenty pf information. It is easy to get information on different stocks. The analysis from the advisors is well done, concise. It would be helpful for me if was a way I could reset my portfolios prices quarterly or yearly.
