I received a car on 7/25/26 that I had to return on 7/26/26 because the person that had the car before put a tire plug in the side wall front left tire and they rented the car to me with this problem. I had to take time out of my vacation to return an unsafe vehicle to get another vehicle for the rest of my vacation.

The ease of doing the online reservation to the pickup and choosing the car was epic. We’ve used Sixt twice as bd the best experience for both. Highly recommend this company - cars are clean and great to drive. I leased a Toyota Corolla even though an upgrade was available to a BMW.
Avoid at all costs - LIARS
Avoid at all costs. They cannot be counted on to tell the truth. I returned my rental with a full tank of gas yet they charged me $100 for fuel. When I called to point out their mistake, they completely blew me off and said I needed a photo of the fuel gauge and a receipt from the gas station. It was so blatant that it's hard for me to believe that it wasn't intentional. You cannot trust this company AT ALL. Take lots of pictures and save your fuel receipts but it's just better to avoid all together. They are the worst.

I had an excellent experience with SIXT at the Miami Lincoln Road location. We rented a BMW X7 for two days, and the vehicle was absolutely fantastic. It was spotless, comfortable, and in perfect condition, making our trip around South Florida even more enjoyable. The team who handed over the car was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. The entire pickup process was quick and hassle-free. Unfortunately, I made a mistake when booking the reservation. I didn't realize I had selected a mileage-limited rental, and during our trip I exceeded the mileage allowance by nearly twice the limit. Naturally, I was expecting a significant additional charge. What impressed me the most was the outstanding customer service. The manager of the SIXT Miami Lincoln Road branch took the time to understand the situation and found a fair solution that satisfied both sides. I truly appreciate her professionalism, understanding, and willingness to help. It's rare to experience this level of customer care, and I'm genuinely grateful for the way she handled everything. Thank you to the entire SIXT Miami Lincoln Road team for turning what could have been a stressful situation into such a positive experience. I would happily rent from this location again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Miami.

I have rented probably a couple of hundred times from all the rental companies THIS WAS THE FIRST time I ever had a rental car company go out of their way to get me specific cars I requested. I am beyond impressed. Sixt went above any expectation to make sure I got exactly the 2 cars I asked for and they did not try to charge me more - if fact they gave me a great deal; basically upgrades for no added charge. This was at the Verona central station in Verona, IT. A very busy place and they were just amazingly friendly and professional. Grazie melle!

I loved the people who work there. The staff was fantastic, knowledgable and helpful. I specifically rent from Sixt when I want to drive a bmw and this is the second time the car that I booked wasn’t available and I was offered a Volvo. If this happens another time I won’t be renting from Sixt again.
Very poor service
Very poor service. Rude staff from start to finish. Suzy messed up the reservation my company paid for so I had to pay myself. Then they informed me I needed insurance and that was an extra charge. After the vehicle was returned I was charged hundreds of dollars more than what was the contracted price. I would never use this company again and would not recommend them to anyone. Pure evil.

Great customer service. Flexible, helpful, friendly. They pivoted to help our family travel situation on the fly, and it made all the difference. Booking process and modifications were super simple - the app and interface was solid.

Renting from SIXT in Italy
We picked up our Sixt rental car in Milan and returned it in Venice, Italy. It was daunting to rent a car in a foreign country, but both the pick-up and drop-off were extremely smooth. The employees in both locations were incredibly friendly and eager to help. I unfortunately scratched and damaged my rental car while backing out of a parking garage in Verona, but when dropping the car off in Venice, the employees there were very kind about my mistake and, despite the damage, I was still able to drop the car off in a matter of minutes. Would highly recommend!

This was my 1st time renting a car from Sixt and it was a great experience. Great price for my rental, friendly staff and a great selection of luxury vehicles. They had an offer to upgrade to a luxury truck for an additional $100.
