From the first day, the guy that gave me the car was very nice, friendly, and helpful. He gave me a car seat for my baby free of charge. We were 5 travellers and the car was sufficient to us and to our luggage. The car I got from Sixt was excellent, new, does not have any problems and its price was good. I will always rent Sixt cars in all my future travels
Everything, from the booking process to returning the vehicle was super simply. Booking was done completely online from their website. From selection to payment, all the necessary information was available. When I arrived to pick up my scheduled vehicle, I was pleasantly surprised! I was originally scheduled to pick up a Toyota Camry, but ended up with a BMW X1 XDrive! Talk about an upgrade at no additional cost! Picking up the keys was super easy, just interact with the booth attendant, present my driver's license, and was directed to my vehicle. It was a drive from Seattle, WA to Hillsboro, OR (just West of Portland, OR) taking a 6 hour scenic route, so the upgrade was AMAZING. Super comfortable, and made the entire trip (6 hours down on 101 and mix of other routes, and 3 hours back up 5) on a SINGLE TANK of fuel! Returning the vehicle, even easier: just park the car in a designated open lane, drop the keys off with nearby attendant, and that's it! Honestly couldn't have been easier.
I booked Toyota Corolla in branch airport Abu Dhabi and got a worn , dirty Chinese car Trumphi . Allegedly Toyota Corolla is all time sold out . Typical cheating , they announced nice car and finally you get junk car
First time using Sixt. Came in way cheaper for what I'd be happy driving, a Mini, than some giant SUV I can't tolerate. Got to Hobby Airport, tried to check in on the fly, and kept getting an 'upgrade' feature, but couldn't use it as it kept acting like it wanted to charge me again. When I got to the rental counter, took less than 5 minutes to get in on a Sunday afternoon. Turns out, the Mini I reserved wasn't drivable due to bad tires, so my 'upgrade' was a BMW M series. Yeah, was not at all upset by that. Only needed it for 3 days, and it was nice having a car similar to my Mercedes as far as ride and comfort goes.
I was skeptical about renting since I'd never heard of the company before. Once I got into the rental office until the time I turned the car in, the rental was excellent. It was the best rental I've ever had. I was upgraded to a Volvo. I had never driven a Volvo before. I loved it.

I rented two times in 2 weeks and had zero issues. The first time I had originally booked a rental online from Budget rental in Castleton and 2 hrs before the rental time, I received a call stating there were no cars available for that day or the next 2 weeks, yet their ads remained on booking sights. That led me to Sixt where I was able to book and pick up the rental in less than 90 minutes! Great customer service and great cars to select from for rent.
Although it’s a weird system that only allows 30 day interval rentals ( I needed the car for 63 days) therefore was billed 3 times). I was assured that no matter the Euro-Dollar rate, Sixt would honor the price the car was booked originally for the 63 days. So far, it has been the case. I was an AVIS customer for 15 years and every year I had to fight to get the overage charged because the Euro fluctuated and the amount was substantially in the 100’s. Thank you Sixt for giving me a positive experience with billing since I use rentals every year for these long extended stays
At the Salt Lake City airport I rented a car from Sixt, and the shuttle arrived promptly; there were no waits for either pickup or return. Although the specific car I had reserved wasn't available, they upgraded me to a better model at no extra cost. There was no high-pressure sales pitch for insurance or other add-ons, making for a truly excellent experience. I would definitely use them again.
I’m Mohamed from Saudi Arabia, and I had an excellent experience with Sixt during my trip to Italy. The entire rental process was smooth and professional, from booking and collecting the car to returning it at Milan Malpensa Airport. The car was in excellent condition, and everything was clearly explained throughout the rental. Overall, the service was efficient, straightforward, and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend Sixt and will use them again on my future trips.
East Pick up and drop off. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you get rent the car one mile from the Tampa airport you save $40 a day in BS airport taxes. The Car was clean and ready when I got there. Prepay gas was cheaper than fighting with the expensive gas stations around the airport. Keep in mind that you are the only one able to drive the car this company unlike others charges you extra for your legal spouse. It was another $70 for my wife to operate the same car that I just spent over $500 on, Keep this in mind when renting. It might be less expensive at another rental company that doesn't charge more if your legal spouse has to drive or you get tired on the trip.

If there was an option for negative stars, I would have chosen that. We rented a car at the Athens airport which was a very low-end version of the car we requested. One morning on our trip, we woke up to a dead battery. Apparently our flashers were on, but it was odd since we never put the flashers on. The Sixt mechanic came and said he could charge the battery, but he couldn't replace it. OK. Fine. He then tells us to drive around a few HOURS to make sure the battery was up. We took an extended road trip and thankfully the car cranked when we finally killed the engine. A few days later, as we were going down the highway, the dreaded Mercedes turtle of death light came on and the car could hardly exceed 50mph. We found a Mercedes dealership who called Sixt to discuss how the bill would be handled. We waited nearly four hours for the car to get "drive-able", not fixed, but OK to last a few days. When we complained about losing two days of car time, we were told that "we should have requested a different car." How about offering that the first time the mechanic comes to jump the engine? Or, maybe when the Mercedes dealership is calling your company to ask about the piece of crap you just rented? We will NEVER use Sixt again, and if you have any sense, you won't either.

Tried to charge me $475.00 for a bogus odor removal fee. Week later cheese me $10.50 for 1/2 gallon gas when I filled up 1 mile from airport. How can anyone justify that. I wonder how many people just pay it.
