Account Hacked, Ticket Sold for $2, No Resolution
This was, without question, the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I lost a significant amount of money and feel completely helpless after trying for months to get a resolution. I was selling my Bruno Mars ticket in Chicago when my StubHub account was hacked. I received notifications that someone was attempting to access my account, and just minutes later my ticket was sold and transferred immediately through Instant Transfer (a feature StubHub recommended to help sell tickets faster). When I checked my account, I discovered that my ticket price had been changed to just $2 without my authorization. I also found that tickets to other concerts in Michigan had been purchased through my account, which I did not authorize. I contacted StubHub immediately and spent more than three months following up through multiple calls and messages. Despite repeatedly explaining what happened, I was continually told that the fraud team was reviewing my case. After months of waiting, I was informed that there was no evidence of unauthorized activity, but no meaningful explanation was provided for how my ticket was changed to $2 or how the other unauthorized account activity occurred. As a result, StubHub refused to provide any compensation or resolution. The most frustrating part was not just the financial loss—it was the complete lack of transparency, accountability, and willingness to thoroughly investigate such an unusual situation. I expected much better customer service from a company as large and well-known as StubHub. Based on my experience, I would be extremely cautious about trusting StubHub with high-value event tickets, whether you are buying or selling.
Easy to order
Easy to order, seats were fine in a challenging venue for soccer (baseball's Yankee Stadium). Good experience in all ways. When I ordered I didn't notice that the bright yellow left-field foul pole was in the way. After a while I didn't notice it.
The best concert I've even been to
The best concert I've even been to. I bought the tickets early and my parking pass. When August 1 came everything was where it was supposed to be. My tickets, and parking pass was in my inbox. The show was worth the trip.
