Most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Consumers consistently describe the platform as very user-friendly and appreciate the clear dashboards and earnings reports available for tracking music distribution and overall performance. Many independent artists also highlight that getting new tracks out to stores is a straightforward process supported by helpful management and professional mixing tools. However, some customers also noted that customer service can be extremely slow, unhelpful, and difficult to reach when urgent issues or questions arise. Other users similarly mentioned experiencing long, frustrating delays for song reviews along with unexpected track rejections that completely lacked clear explanations or valid reasons.

What people say

They're willing to work with you

Finally responded. And actually allow a human to check my facts about my ownership of my music and corre t things. I appreciate the opportunity. I want to do business here. I just want to let you know. I am rerecording alot of my songs that were posted before under CDbaby. I made them pull them down after they tried to rip me off. 4 years with them until I found out.So I understand why there was confusion with my song..

Reliable and artist-friendly distribution for Egethefinest

I’ve been using TuneCore as an independent artist under the name Egethefinest, and my overall experience has been very positive. The platform is easy to use, the release process is straightforward, and my music has been delivered to all major streaming services without issues. I also appreciate the clear analytics and earnings dashboard, which makes it much easier to track performance and revenue. Whenever I needed help, the support team responded in a reasonable time and provided useful guidance. TuneCore has been a reliable partner for my music distribution, and I would recommend it to other independent artists looking for a professional and transparent service.

Been using this for 4 years now

Been using this for 4 years now. In the beginning it was ok, but the platform is getting worse and worse. Now, everytime i schedule a release i can almost gurantee that i wont release the date i set. My covers are getting flagged for absolutely no reason. My streams and royalties are 6 months behind. If you are an artist, NEVER use tunecore.

No support

Costs a lot of money. You get flagged for artificial streamings. No support from nobody. Crazy long times to review your new releases. They limited my account because of artificial streamings I have never applied for. I asked help nothing happened. Several emails unanswered. Use another platform

Maybe DK isn’t that bad

Literally just switched from DK maybe 3weeks ago and already considering switching back. The platform sounds good in theory but in practice it falls shorts. Out of the 10 tracks I’ve uploaded to get switched over 9 have been flagged for one problem or another and you have to wait for days/weeks to even receive a response. Problems that were fine through DK like a title being lowercase is getting flagged for metadata not matching when it’s THEIR fault. Not a fan of the experience so far and that’s saying a lot as a new user.

Satisfied

So far everything about payment, contact and service is very good with the pro suscription. The only detail is they are sometimes too selective with some artwork and track name. But in the other side accelerator is to my point of view positive so i come back. We will see in the future.

Tunecore has been quick to respond

Overall Tunecore has been quick to respond to my concerns. I also find their site user friendly but still there is room to grow in this area. I opted in their sync licensing, but I feel they could provide more information. They have an article regarding how it works, but I feel more clarity can be provided, showing if your song was pitched for anything... why or why not.
