Sellers are great good bargains what…

Sellers are great good bargains what not? Customer services rubbish? They don’t listen to people people selling fake stuff and getting away with it. They banned me for doing raffles but yet there’s still people only doing raffles and it’s not fair if you get a ban for something you didn’t know you couldn’t do and then there’s no chance to get the band back so zero goes to Customer crappy service I wouldn’t call it customer service I will call it stitching buyers up most sellers are decent and help you wear Customer services fail.

Most sellers are very professional and…

Most sellers are very professional and aware of the stipulations of their trade..then some use women having them crying "its not enough" which is very unpleasant to hear constantly, with the constant begging to bid higher..they need to take some salesmanship classes and professional courtesy courses before they begin. But prices are great if ur careful and keep these 3rd party salesman reminded they are 3rd party retailers and don't have the credentials to give a warranty passed the tools manufacturer date and shouldn't expect to get retail prices on an auction site without such guarantees and warranties to offer such

Garbage 🤣 not what i thought

Garbage 🤣 not a great place to shop so many things are so expensive that I've seen .

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We understand that pricing plays a big role in the shopping experience. Sellers set their own prices, so they can vary across the platform. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your experience, and we'll share your feedback with the appropriate team.

Issues

Some of the auctions send wrong or bad products and when you message them they commit to replacement then you hear nothing back. You have to reach back out and get same commitment still nothing. As far as the handling of the issues through Whatnot Support they do eventually get issues solved at times.

Thanks for sharing your experience. We understand how frustrating it is when a seller promises to resolve an issue but stops responding. Sellers are expected to accurately represent the items they sell and provide support for their orders. If you're unable to resolve an issue directly with a seller, please contact our Support Team through **Account > Contact Us** in the app so they can review your purchase. We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear our Support Team has been able to help resolve issues when needed.

Giveaways are only catered to new users to trap them. First year I had what not I would win constantly however now I haven’t won in years. Rigged Shane for longtime users

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We understand this has been frustrating. Giveaways are designed to be random, and we have systems in place to help ensure they're fair for all participants. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we'll pass your feedback along to the appropriate team.

Buyer beware!!!

You really need to watch who you buy cards from!!! Some people will send/ship your $100-$400 plus dollar card is a penny sleeve. And if you buy buy in a different county, Canada/Usa, there is a $20-$50 import customs fee! So make sure you get a good deal or buy a lot of cards from 1 person to make it worth it! Plus $10-$15 dollar shipping free!

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We understand how important it is for valuable cards to be packaged securely, and how unexpected shipping and import fees can impact the overall buying experience. Sellers are responsible for packaging their orders appropriately, and international orders may be subject to customs duties or import fees depending on the destination country. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we'll pass your feedback along to the appropriate team.

JUST DON'T

First of all, there is no clear return or refund policy ANYWHERE when placing an order. Second, the return window is NOT 30 days as it is with almost any other return out there. I made probably 5-6 purchases on my first day havign the app, and I will NEVER, EVER use the app again. Nothing but scams.

Reply from Whatnot2026-08-08

We understand why this first-day experience felt misleading and frustrating. To clarify, Whatnot does not have a universal 30-day return window. The 30-day period is the maximum purchase-based deadline for eligible Buyer Protection claims; most categories also have a shorter deadline after delivery. 14 days for most items, and 7 days for categories such as Sports Cards, TCG, Sneakers, and Coins. Buyer Protection generally covers issues such as an item being missing, damaged, counterfeit, or not matching its description. Returns may be required for a refund

Improvement recommendations

The platform is great for buyers like me who prefer to shop online. The variety from food to clothing to beauty is unmatched including prices. Several opportunities for improvement include 1. going directly to WN to take care of transit/shipping issues where seller is not at fault. The current choices go to seller. 2. Understand total shipment price for bundle upfront before starting to buy. 3. Understand how many items will be run during current live (I have bought at end of live not knowing it was ending) and paid full bundle shipping. 4. Is there a way to escalate to WN if unhappy with seller response to an issue??? Not sure how to do this 5. Allow entry into buyers givvy when min tip is given.
