The whatnot app itself is amazing

The whatnot app itself is amazing. It protects both seller and buyer, payment was easy and shipping is fast. The givvys feature is fun and it helps the seller gain more followers this way. I shopped a lot on my first week however 2 sellers shipped some wrong item for me, which was unfortunate because I am a silent shopper and i don’t like going around requesting for exchange or refunds, i did approach the sellers first, but responses were slow and vague, i then, requested for refund from whatnot. The refund process in the app is very good as well, efficient. If it wasn’t for the issues in delivery from seller it would have been a 5 star for me.

Great deals for candy

I got a great price on quality candy. I received it on time and it great condition even though it was chocolate. They put in ice packs to keep it from melting.

Whatnot Whynot

I love Whatnot, some of the sellers are so much fun. Bidding to see who wins the item is great. Some have really high shipping but for the most part shipping is not bad at all. Everything I have won has arrived in just a couple days.

Terrible Terrible Terrible

Terrible. Seller scammed me by sending me a cheap plant instead of the one I ordered never tried to make it right when I reported it and tried to get a refund. They said they could refund me half. I created another refund request on the same issue just to ask for the full amount since I had to use a $20 coupon that I couldn’t get back. They told me since I filled out more than one refund request that it was in eligible and that they were not going to give me anything back now. Scumbag behavior from everyone. Terrible customer service. Terrible reporting system. Terrible everything. Never ordering off of this scam app again.

Bought a watch with price tag on it…

Bought a watch with price tag on it £169 to learn it was only worth £18, not a biggy only payed a tenner for it but its the scam that bothered me, then last night i threw a bid in on a ring at £80 for the auction to end straight away with me winning at £257. Iv watched the video reciept and it took 8 seconds from when the auction started until it ended starting from £1 reaching £257 in 3 seconds then stopping and counting down 5 seconds giving me the winning bid. Again no biggy the ring is worth what iv payed but i didnt and wouldnt have bid that high as i didnt have it, dosnt seem right to me but its gone out my paypal. Do not add your paypal to the account because if this happens like it has to me paypal will pay it then eventually it will come out your bank. If you only add your bank then payment will be declined and that will be the end of it it will be re auctioned.

I've had mostly good experience with the app. However, I've had a couple very bad ones. I won some headphones that were broken when I got them. Went into the trash the same day I got them. Another seller was selling out of date iPads that Apple no longer provides updates for. That was a 280 dollar scam. I even contacted the seller to inform him. He asked for some information about the order and then never got back to me. That one was on July 17th. Our wedding anniversary.

I’ve spent around £5,000 on Whatnot…

I’ve spent around £5,000 on Whatnot this year, and I wish I’d stopped using it much sooner. Most items arrived with undisclosed faults or weren’t as described. Sellers tell you to contact Whatnot, and the customer service has been extremely disappointing. My latest return was approved, yet I’m expected to pay £60 to return the items and only receive store credit for the postage. I’ve now had to involve my bank. I won’t be using Whatnot again.

This is an amazing platform to buy and sell on as long as you are aware of the value of the items ur bidding on bc most sellers have a strict no cancellation policy so bid responsibly and always look at brands and quality of products ur bidding on bc we tend to get caught in the moment sometimes and overpay, other than that I love this app tons of great deals on all kinds of stuff so have fun and look for steals deals and cool giveaways…

Delivery services are lacking

Delivery services are lacking. Items coming weeks after expected delivery date and damaged are not ideal to paying customers. This alone deters customer not to mention shipping cost are often higher than the cost of the product being bought. Bundle shipping offers by vendors is nice but when you just want a $2 item paying 6+ dollars for the shipping is ridiculous. I feel this is not only a turn off to customers but costing the company and vendors revenue.
