Ever since I stumbled upon your product…
Ever since I stumbled upon your product back in 2019, I literally have never worn or gifted any other kind of sunglasses (Hook, Level, various lens colors, etc.) - no joke, no exaggeration. 😎 The quality, durability and utility of these sunglasses has no equal in the market. As if that weren't amazing enough, the customer service of the small yet mighty William Painter Team is second to none. Every time I've had an issue, or my toddler chucked my glasses off my head, I reach and out they're (often Brittany, but really everyone is great) always responsive, empathic, fair and fast-to-remedy. What more could you ask for?! William Painter has come along way since those $150 Sunglass Hut plastic crummy sunglasses that would would break within around 30-90 days of active use. Keep it up, team - you're doing great things by your customers and we very much appreciate you!
Great products and outstanding customer service!
We have a couple of pairs of William Painter sunglasses and we totally dig them. The logo has a charming elegant appeal to it. The sunglasses are sturdy and build solid and the customer service is outstanding! There are millions of companies with decent product but lack heavily when something comes up. I am grateful that William Painter knocks it out of the park with customer service. They make it so pleasant and smooth. No stress at all. Truly a great company. We understand they now have blue-light blocking glasses, we’ll be considering them soon 🤓
Poor quality control. Worse customer service...
I had a cheap £20 pair of O'Neil sunglasses that I wanted to upgrade. I'd never bought expensive sunglasses before but reviews for WP seemed fantastic, and they claimed that their glasses were indestructible(!) and came with a lifetime warranty, so I took the plunge and spent £200 on The Sloan Polarized glasses. Loved them, for about 4 years until the logo on both sides of the arms began to rust - really odd as they only went from case-to-face and back. I made a warranty claim but was confused as they wanted to charge £50 for a replacement when the lifetime warranty was offered during my original purchase. This isn't a lifetime warranty at all. Anyway, I went ahead and bought the "warranty", claimed a replacement pair, and even bought an additional third pair via the checkout special offer. Loved them...for about 3 years, until the hinges snapped on the arms. WP now want another £50 warranty fee to claim another replacement. Brittany, their customer service advisor, has dealt with my claim via the chat function on their website - no apology for the poor quality control, no effort to compensate a customer of 7 years who has spent £300 with them, just nauseating enthusiasm pushing their warranty at me to get me to spend another £50. Never going to happen! So to conclude, you will spend around £200+ on a pair of glasses that will last less than 5 years, then WP will try to fleece you for £50 each time they break. The true reality is that the quality of these glasses is not even worth the £50 shipping fee. They are garbage. Oh and my cheap £20 O'Neil glasses...still going strong. Avoid these overpriced glasses. They are poorly made and the warranty is a scam!

William painter is amazing, I found them from an instagram ad 7-8 years ago and have bought nothing else for my wife and myself since. I have had a few pairs warrantied with Britney and have had no problems.

Had the pleasure of being helped out by Brittany from the support team. She helped me figure out both warranties for my pairs and was kind enough to even give me a nice discount on a new pair! Now I got three great quality sunglasses coming my way. I've had these glasses for years and have gotten TONS of compliments from them. Especially The Hook. Brittany was amazing. 10/10 service and 10/10 quality sunglasses too!

The best sunglasses. Period.
I own five pairs of William Painter glasses: the Hughes, the Empire, two pairs of the Oasis, and their blue-light-blocking glasses. I love the quality and craftsmanship of every pair. They're fashionable while being sturdy and I've received compliments on most of them. I've broken countless prescription glasses and sunglasses in my lifetime, but my William Painters have held up incredibly well. I believe my oldest pair is about 5 years old and is still going strong. I can't say the same for any other glasses that I've ever owned. I've dropped them, accidentally sat on them and they continue to perform without issue which is a testament to their build quality. I don't have to baby them, which I really appreciate. Even after the price increase, I believe they're well worth the investment. Competitors that charge even more simply don't match the durability or quality. Recently, I lost a screw from one of my sunglasses. Submitting a lifetime warranty claim was straightforward and I received a brand-new pair within a couple of days. Brittany from customer service was very helpful throughout the process. I will continue to buy from and support William Painter.

As I opened my bag my sunglasses fell out and of course I stepped on them and broke them. I was super bummed but remembered that I bought them because of the William Painter warranty. I emailed an inquiry and Brittany was extremely fast and helpful in replacing them. Because of the quality, customer service, and overall satisfaction I always recommend William Painter to all my friends and customers. Thank you again Brittany and thank you William Painter!
Destroyed Glasses replaced without question.
My glasses, which were in the console of my car, were destroyed after by car was stolen and subsequently incinerated by the offenders .Almost 12 months after the event I contacted William Painter and Brittany replaced my destroyed glasses without any hesitation. William Painter really honour their warranty promise. Their service is exemplary and I unconditionally recommend them.

Brittany made all the difference between a shocking horrible experience to a good one by going above and beyond. The managers and executives of this company needs to qc check their warehouse staff for stealing and reward frontline staff like Brittany for preserving the reputation of the brand.
A Lifetime Warranty for the Customers!
Many businesses sell lifetime warranty but spend a truck load of money on lawyers to make it near impossible for a customer to ever get anything out of it. William Painter I thought would do the same thing, but turns out they do care about their customers. Processing was literally no strings attached. I sent a picture of my lens that had scratched up from something and they processed the warranty on a sunday evening. Not a single attempted haggle to let me down as someone asking for help with those amazing glasses. I will continue to be a customer and tell everyone I know about how awesome WP is!

Loved the glasses immensely. When my 2-year old granddaughter managed to pull the arm a little too enthusiastically, even well made frames can’t always hold up. I was very disappointed. However, The team replaced my glasses without any problem. Very happy one again. Thanks.

Had a pair almost 7 years but the warranty ruined it for me.
Everything was good up until I had to warranty them. I had my pair coming up on 7 years, multiple perscruptions put into them and worn for hours. Screw had managed to back out an arm somehow and I didn't have any that could fit. Had got in touch asking if I could just get some screws sent the team offered a full replacement through their warranty instead, which mind you costs $49.99 +Shipping, a little wasteful but okay. The warranty team did not tell me they were a different sizing now which no longer day right on my ears. No solution was attempted to be offered, I had asked how the hook designs sizing were and that part of the question was ignored. I was simply told that: "The first Sloan design was a mistake they didn't fit behind anyone's ears" Excellent response when I say the new ones are too big. I had my old ones for almost seven years and I don't see myself getting any more or recommending them to any friends going forward sadly.
Warranty Program is Awesome!
My Hook glasses I had for 4+years broke, but I was able to get a replacement pair for ~50.00 very quickly. I think that is wonderful. I did not need to provide the original order number or anything, they just asked for a photo of my broken glasses. 10/10 service.

2 year old blue hooks
I had my pair of the blue hooks for 2 years and absolutely love them. The most durable pair of sunglasses I have owned, and therefore the only pair of sunglasses I owned. Not that I am not interested in the multitude of styles offered. However, I was wearing them while playing football and one of the arms got snagged and overextended and the frame for the left lens broke. Any other pair plastic pair would have been destroyed. I have put these through the ringer for 2 years and the quality was never compromised until this particular event. When this occurred the lifetime warranty allowed me to get my favorite pair of glasses back without difficulty. The customer service representative Brittany created a great experience in an efficient manner that allowed me to receive a new pair when I was only 5 days away from flying out of state for vacation! I'll be a lifelong customer and look forward building a collection of william painter sunglasses.
Customer service is Top Notch
The team at WP may be small, but they are always on top of it. Customer service is always top notch. They get back to you so quick with a response and are always willing to try and help with lost or broken replacements! Usually a quick and seamless interaction for information, or best next steps. Prices used to be a little cheaper, but the quality is always the highest! Can't buy sunglasses anywhere else!

Had a faulty product arrive, dismayed, emailed customer service. Brittany responded within 2hrs(!) And immediately reshipped another pair of sunnies. Amazing to encounter such warm and proactive customer service, especially these days. Best interaction with a brand I've ever had by a mile! Well done William Painter team! So amazing.
