My experience with Outdoorsy was horrible
My experience with Outdoorsy was very disappointing. I booked an RV for a trip to Stanley, Idaho and prepaid a campground reservation. From the start, communication with the host was poor, requiring repeated follow-ups just to confirm basic pickup details. On pickup day, the RV had a serious propane leak. Propane was actively venting from the tank, making it unsafe to use. The host canceled the reservation because repairs would take longer than my trip, and the trip ended before it began. I was left with approximately: • $400 in non-refundable campground fees • Additional costs for groceries and ice purchased for the trip • About three hours of travel time for pickup and return without the RV • A canceled vacation that could not be recovered I contacted Outdoorsy for help but was told there was nothing they could do and to work it out with the host. The host was largely unresponsive, and I received no resolution. While mechanical issues can happen, I was left absorbing the full cost of a canceled trip caused by an unsafe vehicle. Outdoorsy did not provide meaningful support or compensation. If you book through Outdoorsy, be aware that if a rental is canceled due to safety or mechanical issues, you are responsible for trip expenses like prepaid campgrounds, ice, travel time. If you had a problem on the road, you would really be screwed based on my experience.

Fast Support Responses, even when it's bad news
TopCashBack always has fast support. While some vendors do not pay their commissions, TopCashBack always tries their best to get the funds. So far, I have over $2,000 in lifetime earnings with them. When they tell me they couldn't get the vendor to pay the commission, I believe them, as they have gone to bat for me multiple times and collected the commission manually. Overall, I want a team that does that - that's willing to fight for their customers openly and kindly. Yeah, it's disappointing when they deal with a less-than ethical company that doesn't pay (I'm looking at you, LEGO), but I can't fault topcashback for that. Their merchant feedback is the acceptable place to let others know when there are merchant problems.
