Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Customers experienced extremely poor customer support, noting long delays, unhelpful responses, and severe difficulties when trying to resolve warranty claims. Many people frequently reported defective hardware, broken components, missing items, and software that failed to function properly right out of the box.
Some people were satisfied with the fast shipping and found the machines powerful, reliable, and easy to set up for daily use. Reviewers also mentioned that when everything functions correctly, the printers deliver exceptionally clean prints and exceed expectations. Buyers appreciated these helpful features and expressed satisfaction with the performance during successful print runs.
Everything I have ever ordered has arrived in great shape. Any of the issues I have ever had, support has taken care of. Their support is in China so it is usually the next day before they respond, but they have always been helpful.
The k1c is amazing! The shipping was fast. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is the customer service. Its hard to get a hold of someone, which is quite annoying.
I have an Ender 5 Max (got it on release in Australia) which has been great once I could get a hold of an enclosure which was not available when I bought the printer, but I managed to find one elsewhere and eventually upgraded to the glass when they finally came back in stock. The one time I was completely stumped with an issue and contacted support it took them more than a week to reply, by which time I'd figured it out, if I was reliant on them for my. They do have a lot of tutorials on YouTube which are really straightforward and helpful.
I've purchased multiple printers and accessories from Creality and their official store (store.creality.com), and every single experience has been fantastic. The machines themselves work great out of the box, and their customer service is genuinely one of the best I’ve encountered in the 3D printing space.
Any time I’ve had a question, they’ve responded quickly and helpfully. Shipping has been smooth, and everything has arrived well-packaged and in perfect condition. It’s clear they care about their products and their customers.
Highly recommend Creality to anyone getting into 3D printing or upgrading their setup. Zero complaints—just a consistently great experience.
Very happy with my Hi combo, it prints well and worked right out of the box. I bought an additional CFS to go with it allowing me to print up to eight colours. I would certainly buy another Creality product.
I have had nothing but great luck with creality, my first printer was a ender 3v2 neo and I love that it's open source and I can play with it however I want without being restricted and now I have a K2 Pro and it is amazing, I also have a Hallot resin printer and it is very cool as well, I have had to contact customer service via the chat on their website and it has always been successful, I will continue to use creality as my go-to source for my 3D printing needs
Ordered some filaments from the Creality store, took a few days to be delivered (not a problem), but when the package came the bag was ripped in spots, one of the boxes was cut into (filament was fine) and it smelled like it had been sitting in a cigarette smoke filled room for a month, I had to take the packaging outside right away, the smell was horrible!
The product itself was fine and a good price, but now I see why they want to charge you an insurance for shipping if the product is damaged.
The product is nice. Easy to use and have a lot of nice features for the price. Altough, the after sale service is probably the worse I’ve ever seen. The chat service is 24/7 but is limited to advice and wont do nothing to plan a replacement, refund or stuff like that. They will keep referring to back office that work 9-9 china Time and only by email. They will usuelle provide 1 answer per day. That result in a very long and frustrating process. Plus they keep asking pictures, vidéos etc. I received a rebuilt instead of a new one. It took over 3 weeks to get a replacement.
Buyer Warning this company is shocking as for customer service you might as well just serve yourself there useless....
Item came damaged and faulty so as a normal person you contact them via there support system.
explained the nature of the issue all relevant information they will claim they have passed it over to the relevant team. Even saying have you received there emails (I doubt they sent any to begin with to get you over the set days)
Web Chat human They instructed me to take apart the part effected which i'm not doing as if You the User do so they could turn the table onto you and say you have caused the issue I would advise if your in the same boat as me contact your card company immediately log the issue with them also
I really like their products, but their customer service leaves alot to be desired. Getting 1 email back and forth daily since they are in China. They really need to have a customer service here in North America. They have no problem sending out replacement parts when needed. This company is getting bigger all the time, so better customer service is needed.
Great printers and filament. I would have given them a 5 star rating but customer support was a bit rough to navigate. I got my K2 Plus for Christmas and the extruder didn't work. It took several weeks to get Customer Support to get the parts I needed. Since then, I could not be happier with the printer. It is amazing. It is fast, accurate, and I don't have to make any adjustments. I just say which filament type I am using and it makes all the adjustments. I am using the Hyper PLA and I can print a Benchy in 14 minutes. I would buy another without hesitation. Customer support was slow to navigate but they have always come through, with this printer and my old CR-10 Smart Pro that I replaced with this K2.
I purchased my first Creality Printer (CR10S pro) in Mid 2021. Easy to set up and use - yes I had a few printing failures and mishaps but, either immediately or on reflection the vast majority of these were my fault. I've modified the printer with a magnetic heater bed cover, better hot end, a hotter print bed and a thermal enclosure. It took a little while to come to grips with the Creality Slicer software but these days it rarely is a problem. I've printed a lot of stuff with it going through several hundred rolls of printer filament. I still use it mainly to print with TPU. Overall I would rate my experience with this printer 8/10 but could see a non-technical people rating it lower.
My next purchase was a Creality Otter Scanner in mid 2024, I haven't used it that much as it's taken me some time to upgrade my computer as this scanner generates huge files and needs a fast high capacity computer. I'm now driving it with a MacBook Pro with the M4 Max cCPU, with 64Gb of RAM and a 2 TB HD. It's tricky to use - certainly not as easy as the Youtube videos show. But I have managed to do useful things with it as I get the hang of requirements. I would rate my experience with this at 7/10.
Recently I purchase a Creality K2 Plus printer with the CFS. Again very fast and easy to setup and when it prints it's fast and produces very smooth prints. Most of my problems have been with the CFS with both major CFS problems inadvertently caused by me. My main problems with the heater has been lack of adhesion of the print to the bed but I think I have that sussed now. I have exchanged several dozen emails with Creality about these problems. Their response has been fast, courteous and helpful they are very willing to send all manner of spare parts in an attempt to solve problems. This printer still has too many potential problems for a raw printer newbie unless they are technically minded. Mostof teh issues are with the CFS. Once again I would rate my overall experience at 8/10 with this printer, and 9/10 with Creality in attempting to solve problems.
Order was shipped quickly and was received within a week. Setup and first print was flawless and prints since have been perfect. I have only about 30hrs on it so far but experience has been great
I have 3 ender printers, an ender3 pro my first and 2 Ender3 v3plus both are working just fine. If you are having problems there's a good chance you caused them. My only complaint is I prefer printed instructions.
I love the quality of the prints I get from my Crealit K2 Plus. No issues there.
However, the printer I bought lasted almost 2 weeks before I had an issue. Spent 2 months going back and forth with customer service trying to fix the issue. They finally decided to exchange the printer for a new one. When it arrived, it lasted 6 days before a major issue. spent almost another month going back & forth with customer service and they decided again to exchange the printer. This time it has been working great for two months now.
Again, love the quality of the printing. Just had issues trying to fix the printer when it would stop printing.
I'm hoping the K2 Pro is much better and would love to get one soon.
Overall, my experience with these 3D printers has been really positive, and I'm happy with my purchase. I think a lot of the criticism from other reviewers is a bit unrealistic, as these are technical pieces of equipment that require a user to be hands-on and willing to tinker. The engineering behind these machines is amazing, and I think it's important for users to understand that some engineering know-how is also required to maintain and repair them. I've been particularly happy with the print quality, though my experience is primarily with the Klipper models.
What this company is doing well:
Print Quality: I'm very satisfied with the results I've been getting, especially for how challenging the Klipper models can be.
Filament: The company's filament has become my preferred brand. It prints fast, has good strength, and I think the quality is a bit better than others I've tried.
Accommodating Customer Service: The customer service team was reliable and accommodating. While communication was limited to about one message a day, they were very responsive and went above and beyond by sending me a whole new print head with all the components to help me resolve my issue.
Constructive Feedback:
Documentation: More comprehensive instructions and documentation for troubleshooting and repairs would be incredibly helpful. I received a full replacement print head but had no clear guide on how to install it myself, which made the process difficult.
Communication: I understand that customer service might be based in a different time zone, which limits communication to a daily message. This should be made clear to the customer upfront to set expectations.
Product Usability: If the company's goal is to move into the mainstream consumer market, they need to make their printers and replacement parts more modular and easier to repair. As it stands, these products are fantastic for a technical audience, but require significant engineering knowledge for maintenance.
I'm looking forward to continuing to use this brand and seeing what they can achieve. With a few tweaks to their customer support process and product design, they could be an unstoppable force in the consumer 3D printing market.
