The support at longer was great. They were friendly and very quick to respond. I would recommend Longer to anyone.

I have bought three laser engravers…

I have bought three laser engravers from Longer over the past few years. A Ray5 10watt and two B1 40watt. I have also bought several lens and two expansion kits. I have never had any issues with any of my lasers until recently. The power supply died on one of my B1 40w lasers. I was able to switch power supplies from one 40w to the other which confirmed the issue I was having. I then emailed Longer support about it and they replied asking for a description of my issue a video if I had one, which I did. Within a week or so they replied and said they would be shipping out a new power supply to me. Tracking looks like it will be here in the next day or two. Honestly, I’ve been very happy with my three lasers and will buy another one from them if the need arises.

Don’t buy from them if you want competence

I made 2 pre-orders with them back at the end of June. I requested cancellation from the support team on July 3rd for the cancellation of my order as it seemed that it would not be delivered on time as originally scheduled. They have proceeded to give me the run around for the last 105 days about how they are working on it and will get back to me when they have an update. At this point they are either flat out refusing to cancel my order against their own terms of agreement (which state i can cancel the order at any time prior to shipment) or they have the most incompetent support and sales department I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. If this is how they handle a simple cancellation request on something that wont be shipped until the end of November to early December, I would never in my right mind recommend anyone purchase anything from them.

support team are excellent any question i had was answer quick within a day had a spot on the lens and they were fast to answer my concerns about it i replaced the lends and all worked well

I bought this machine a few months ago…

I bought this machine a few months ago and am very satisfied with it. I installed it in a custom-built enclosure with a fume exhaust system. I also purchased the 2W IR module and the rotary attachment for engraving cylindrical objects. Customer service is very responsive and always has a solution when needed. Here are a few creations made with this engraver on 3mm plywood and slate.

UPDATE. Asked multiple times for refund

UPDATE... "Nice reply from Longer on trustpilot, but no personal reply when i mailed them again. It's just a reply to make it look like they reply. The kickstarter is over and they refer to Longer Support. They have 2 e-mail adresses. No reply whatsoever in months. Be warned!!! Will make a review on my youtube channel soon to show my mails and their "customer support" that does not exist. Will keep you guys updated. Matthijs Houtman. Original post: Asked multiple times for refund. Product has not been sent and no updates from longer themselves. Refunds of cancellation is something what they do not want, so think twice before order. Getting money back is a pain, i don' t understand why this review is needed, but they will not respond. Multiple mails already sent, very dissapointing, will update how they deal with it.

longer B1 30 W laser

I recently encountered an issue with my Longer B1 30W laser. From the very first day I contacted customer support, I received unlimited assistance in resolving the problem; they responded immediately, without any hesitation or delay. Despite the distance and the nature of online support, I felt as though I had someone right there with me, dedicating their time to me and my issue rather than shying away from it. I would like to express my gratitude and commend the staff members—Mr. Rayan and Ms. Maria—for their expertise and dedication; resolving the issue would not have been possible without them. Ultimately, we replaced a few parts, and the shipments arrived very quickly, regardless of the distance. Thank you once again to the LONGER customer support team for the time spent resolving my problem. I thank them sincerely and can highly recommend Longer and their products, as well as their outstanding customer support.

Very good for beginners or entry level…

Very good for beginners or entry level engravers. 20w is a lil step up from a 10w but definitely a learning curve not plug and play but relatively easy once u get the basics of the software not really the machine. Great support from longer if need assistance fast and reliable. Some advice would be use longer brand add ons like camera and roller if u want to upgrade bc it makes setup easy with capabilities a guaranteed. I’ve got creality rotary and it didn’t work so use same name brand if possible.

Longer Ray 5 10W

I bought the Longer Ray 5 10W to enhance my DIYwoodworking workshop, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. Assembly wasn't difficult partly thanks to clearly marked parts bags and straightforward instructions. I also found a lot of help on YouTube and FaceBook groups. The 10W dual-beam laser module is incredibly powerful. The 0.06mm x 0.06mm compressed laser spot provides crisp, high-definition photo engraving with sharp details on wood, leather, and dark acrylic. It cuts through 1/8-inch wood boards effortlessly in a single pass. I have used customer sevice sveral times since the purchase. I always get fast responses and solituintions to any issues I contack them about.

Amazing customer support.

RAY5 mini Laser Engraver: what a brilliant little machine.

I recently purchased the RAY5 mini Laser Engraver. Never having used one before I was a bit unsure about setting it up. I won't mislead anyone: I had difficulty setting it up but was determined to do it. After reading the instructions and reviewing forums with no success, I then contacted the manufacturer's helpline. From that point on good things started happening very fast! I have given the review 5 stars to reflect that the support was excellent. They never gave up with me, checked in to find out how I was getting on, and that gave me the confidence to press on and solve the problem of getting it to connect to my PC. Once connected I was playing around with it and trying different materials. I had successes straight away even though I did not know the software. The precision and accuracy of the laser are a delight. As an engineer I very much admire the quality of the build, especially at the price. It has already had some knocks but it proving durable. I have now bought beginner's books to learn how to use the software properly. Do not expect problems when you buy it and set it up but if you do contact the helpline and I know they will fix the problem.

They got back to me in a timely manner. Treated me with concern and respect even though my laser is over 2 years old.

100% Recommend - Longer Laser Ray 5 20W

Brilliant Machine - I use Light Burn with it - Faultless every time - GRBL is another program but its free so its very limited on what you can do. Lightburn - It connects direct to the laser, edit images, engrave, cut, its endless with what you can do Machine - Really good speed, you can adjust the laser power as you go, speed it up, its amazing really. I engrave, wood, burn into cloths, burn into wood, ceramics and slate - 100% Recommend !

B1 40W could not connect to my PC.

I was in a mess with my B1 i had not been able to operate since day 1 (a year and a half ago) i bought it because B1 40W could not connect to my PC. . I went through all longer web forum and support seeking for help and assistance . All in vain because of my bare experience in laser world . Due to my very busy life, i put everything asside to dedicate my time to work , other hobbies and family. Then after a long silence, a week ago, i decided to contact Longer support in order to buy a new motherboard since my machine failed to connect to my computer. Longer kindly suggest me an attempt remote assistance before spending my money . A bimgo!! that was the right move . Longer solve my problem in various clicks that really made my day . I would like to deeply thank Longer who depite an overdue assitance time frame was so dedicated to give me an help. Thanks again to to staff

The Longer company has amazing lasers and stellar customer service. I own 3 Longer B1 40w models with the extension kits. I run them daily. They outperform lasers costing way more. Highly recommend the products and the customer support after the sale.

I own the B1 30 W laser. I also owned the Ray 5 10 W laser. longer is the only laser company I will buy from. Their machines are 100% reliable. Their customer service is 1000% reliable. They will respond to your email within 24 hours.
