Most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Consumers generally find the advanced robotic lawn mowers remarkably easy to set up and use, appreciating the efficient cutting performance and reliable daily operation across various lawns. Many people also highlight the exceptionally helpful customer support and remarkably smooth repair processes provided whenever technical issues occur. However, some customers also noted frustrating experiences regarding unexpected device breakdowns and completely unresponsive support teams during critical moments of need. Reviewers frequently reported severe mechanical failures, problematic software updates, and major difficulties getting timely replacement parts to fix their broken machines.

I am extremely disappointed with both…

I am extremely disappointed with both the product quality and the customer service. My brand-new machine would not charge from the beginning, and despite repeated attempts to contact support, I received no meaningful help whatsoever. After 5 days of waiting without a proper response or solution, I was forced to give up. The complete lack of communication and responsibility is unacceptable, especially for a new product. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had — I have honestly never experienced anything like this before. I expected a far higher level of professionalism, communication, and support.

Very slow customer service

I went to send my mower out for a cut but found that my power supply was not working. I raised a ticket with Mammotion going on 3 weeks ago requesting that it be replaced. I have chased them every week via chat and each time I was I formed that they had escalated my ticket. Unfortunately I am still waiting for a response and my grass is steadily growing.

This is the best

Wonderfull, I was using 2 mowers, one for the front yard Dreame A2 with LIDAR and in backyard Luba Mini 2 AWD ... the backyard looked always better. I will buy the Luba Mini 1500 AWD (LIDAR version) for the front yard that's for sure! Anything better than Mammotion doesn't exist. An the customer service experience was great and very fast when I blocked my account by mistake, I was trying to add in smarthome app the robot.

Okay on mowing but unsatisfactory customer service

The product does an okay job mowing the lawn, and the customer service seems receptive to suggestions for app improvements, given the many opportunities for improvement. However, the customer service team fails to respond to inquiries satisfactorily. I contacted them with a request that needed manager approval and followed up after 3 days, but there was still no response. The associate told me the previous agent is still working on it and will get back to me. Now, it is a week after my second contact, and we still have not received a response. I do not know how long it would take to make a decision about a request.

Rotten to the core

If you value your time and the health of your blood pressure, do not ever do business with this company. I bought a robot mower that came with cables which were physically impossible to connect. I emailed photos to the company showing the problem, which anyone with half a brain could easily understand. However, their 'customer support' could not have been less supportive: they treated me like an idiot, implying I didn't know what I was talking about. My complaint was passed from one support person to another, with each one misunderstanding the issue, and trying to delay a resolution by demanding yet more photos. To no avail: they persisted in not addressing the problem. After a month of about twenty emails going back and forth, I finally lost patience, invoking Consumer Law regarding goods that are 'not fit for purpose'. That did the trick: they offered a full refund on receipt of yet more photos, which I duly sent. Matter settled, or so I thought. But no, yet another support person emailed me, this time insisting that "the cables provided are correct" - again implying I was an idiot. Google Search's AI service tells me that I am not their only victim. "Dealing with Mammotion support can be incredibly draining", says Google. "Many Mammotion customers have reported similar 'looping' support experiences, where agents request repetitive logs and photos, only to stall or ignore previous refund agreements. Customers frequently describe the support as 'non-existent' once a major hardware fault occurs." And with Mammotion's manufacturing quality control being as poor as I have discovered, it's no wonder so many people find major hardware faults, and end up in the 'customer support' doom loop. Finally, don't attempt to access Mammotion's website: my anti-virus software says it's heavily infected, and won't allow me onto it. That neatly sums up the company: Mammotion is rotten to the core.

Purchase of a lawn mower and accessories

I bought a yuka mower, and then accessories. Communication with the seller at an excellent level, willingness, customer-oriented approach, speed of response, effort to solve the problem. The quality of the mower and accessories is at a high level, the packaging itself is precisely designed. The application works without problems.I recommend and highly evaluate the mammotion brand.

Bought peace of mind, got anxiety instead…

I purchased a Mammotion YUKA Mini in April 2025 for my summer house, where I only visit on weekends. The whole point of buying a robot mower was complete autonomy — scheduled to run while I was away, so the lawn would take care of itself. That promise was never delivered. From the start the mower had two persistent defects: foggy camera lenses impairing the navigation system, and the mower repeatedly stopping due to phantom obstacles that did not exist. To be clear about the conditions: my garden is only 300 m² of flat, plain grass. Trees and a greenhouse were all correctly marked as no-go zones in the app. This is as simple and ideal a setup as a robot mower could ask for. And still — the mower would get stuck attempting to cross its own configured no-go zones, or stop dead in the middle of an open lawn with nothing around it. I reported the foggy lens issue in June 2025. Mammotion's support told me it would not affect navigation. That was wrong — it was the root cause of everything. That dismissal cost me months. The behaviour when "stuck" made things even worse. The mower would drain its battery all the way to 15% sitting in place doing nothing, then suddenly navigate back to the charger without any difficulty — from the exact spot where it had claimed to be stuck. So it was never actually stuck. It simply stopped working for no reason. And once it returned to the charger and recharged to 100%, it would not resume the job automatically — you had to manually push it to continue from the app. There was another fault I witnessed with my own eyes. The mower would swing sharply backwards during operation, causing the front wheels to lift off the ground — rearing up like a horse. This triggered the lift sensors, putting the robot into a safety-suspended state. Once this happens, it cannot recover on its own. You must physically go to the mower and manually unlock it. For a property I can only reach at weekends, this meant the mower could sit stranded and idle for days at a time. For a mower at a property I can only reach on weekends, all of this meant the lawn frequently went uncut for the entire week. I can count on one hand the weeks when I didn't have to mow the lawn myself anyway. Instead of peace of mind, I got a constant stream of alerts, the anxiety of knowing the job wasn't getting done, and a lawn that looked abandoned. After further conversations in July 2025, the unit was finally sent for service in August 2025 — leaving me without a mower for nearly a month during the peak mowing season. Getting it to service was its own ordeal. Their in-app chat forces you through a lengthy AI screening process before reaching a human agent. If you switch to another app to collect evidence — photos, screenshots, logs — the chat session times out and you have to start over from scratch: answer all the screening questions again, explain the issue again to a new agent, and re-upload all your evidence. This happened to me multiple times. It is deliberately exhausting. It then took 10 days and multiple reminder emails just to receive a return shipping label. After the repair, the mower worked briefly. I packed it away for winter on 1 October 2025. When I unpacked it in mid-April 2026, the exact same faults reappeared immediately. On 3 May 2026 I submitted a formal complaint citing EU consumer law (Directive 2019/771) and Mammotion's own 3-year warranty, requesting a replacement or full refund. Mammotion acknowledged receipt on 4 May, said the case had been "escalated to the Superior Department", and has not responded since — despite two follow-up emails and a final notice with a 48-hour deadline. As of today, 11 May 2026, I am filing complaints with the European Consumer Centre Denmark and the EU ODR platform. The product failed at its most basic promise, in the most forgiving conditions imaginable — through hardware defects, software failures, and a mechanical design flaw that leaves it stranded and requiring manual rescue. Mammotion's support dismissed the root cause when I first reported it, wasted months of my time, and is now ignoring a formal legal complaint. The 3-year warranty they advertise appears to be meaningless in practice. I would not recommend purchasing from Mammotion EU.

Faulty tech, terrible battery, and evasive customer support

I bought the Yuka Mini 600 last year hoping to save time on yard work. Instead, it has been an endless source of frustration. As an IT professional, I am extremely comfortable with tech setups, but this unit is plagued with deep hardware or software defects that no amount of reconfiguration can fix. I have taken pristine care of this machine. It is always cleaned, stored in a garage, oiled when needed and was properly prepared for winter. The robot, it's garage and the RTK station are placed properly in the yard. Despite this, it has only managed 11 total runs since I bought it. Since I got it, I spent at least 3 weeks just troubleshooting, trying to configure and reconfigure it, and nothing really solved it's issues. Here is what you can actually expect from this robot: - Constant Errors: It stops every other minute with a "Front wheel lifted" error, it enters no go zones and damages itself, it suddenly stops when going back to charge, when getting to the station it says it doesn't see infrared (although it's infrared sensors are perfectly clean). It requires constant babysitting. - Terrible Navigation: It moves erratically and gets completely lost. The mobile app will show it cutting neat lines in one area, while the robot is actually wandering somewhere else entirely. - Poor Cutting: It routinely leaves entire rows or random patches of grass completely uncut. - Abysmal Battery Life: My yard is only 118 sq meters. The robot cannot even handle a 42 sq meter patch of perfectly straight lawn in one go. After just 29 sq meters, it has to return to the base to charge. - Tedious Setup: It loses its memory and forces you to remap your entire yard every single year (or multiple times a season). To make matters worse, their customer service is completely evasive. When I contacted them about these clear defects, I even offered to send this unit back and pay the difference to upgrade to their newer LUBA mini model. Instead of offering a real solution or replacement for a failing unit, support just gives you the runaround, trapping you in an endless loop of basic "troubleshooting" steps that waste even more of your time. I bought this to save time, but I could do the job significantly faster with my old manual lawn mower. Save your money and avoid Mammotion.

Faulty product, failed repair, and now ignoring me

I bought a YUKA mini 800 directly from Mammotion on 31 March 2025 for £1,049 (Order M5483UK). For the first eleven months it worked well. The problems started in early March 2026. Both navigation lenses developed internal misting and moisture, causing the unit to stop repeatedly and falsely detect obstacles that weren't there. Mammotion support's initial advice was to use a hairdryer and store the unit indoors. Neither worked. I returned the unit for repair on 24 March 2026 and it came back on 12 April with the entire top section (camera and sensors) replaced — visibly brand new, factory seals still over the lenses. After approximately one week of normal operation in standard British spring conditions (10–15°C, no extreme weather), the identical fault recurred. The brand-new lenses had misted internally. I emailed Mammotion on 23 April with photographic evidence, suggesting that as the same fault had appeared on what is effectively a re-built machine, the unit is inherently defective and should be replaced. Mammotion replied on 24 April stating the matter was being "taken very seriously" and would be escalated to their service centre and an evaluation team. That was the last substantive contact I have had from them. Three follow-up emails (27, 28 and 29 April) went unanswered. A 30-minute live chat on 29 April produced another assurance that I would hear back "very soon." Nothing followed. On 1 May I sent a formal Letter Before Action under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, addressed to Mammotion Technik GmbH's registered Managing Director in Düsseldorf and copied to support, PR, marketing and privacy teams. It exercised my final right to reject the goods under Section 24 and gave a seven-day deadline for a substantive response. Seven days have passed. No response of any kind. I am now proceeding with a Mastercard chargeback through my card issuer and a Trading Standards referral via Citizens Advice. I'm leaving this review so prospective buyers can weigh the product's engineering against the company's apparent inability to resolve a documented inherent fault. When the product works it's good. When it doesn't, and the issue can't be closed with an apology and a complimentary set of blades, expect to be ignored. I will update this review if and when Mammotion engages.

Purchased Yuka 1000 in 2025

Purchased Yuka 1000 in 2025. One season completed no major issues. Cannot fault the robot. Mows 3 independent areas for me every other day. Has saved me countless hours more ng and I get more time in the garden on other tasks. The rubber of the whisper module failed at the start of this season, I contacted support via live chat, I now have replacement wiper rubbers within a week. Great service and responsive to my issues. I hope to get a few more seasons out of my mower. Will update as warranty period goes through.

Cannot provide delivery date

I placed an order and paid in full, based on a delivery time of 'mid May'. When I did not receive any confirmation I chased them today - eventually they conceded that they did not know when the product would be delivered. So, please beware of ordering anything that is not in stock and that does not have a firm shipping date

Highly frustrating - pre order and no delivery dates from them

Highly frustrating - order the luba 2, only to discover a few weeks later the v3 had been announced. to be fair they did accept a return and refund. Pre ordered the new model beginning april with may delivery - nothing. Im sure supply chain related but non commital support team on dates etc, i lost confidence. Love new tech but i think this is failing to deliver - literally.
