Where to begin? I purchased a 30A DCDC charge controller with the BlueTooth module and One CORE. I got this the beginning week of August. I installed it in my vehicle with a 100Ah LiFePo4 battery and an 80w solar panel. I could not get it to charge the battery either from solar or from the alternator. I checked everything and it should be good. I could charge the battery just fine from another charger. The Renogy charger reported everything was fine - input voltage looked good. Battery voltage looked good. Submitted a support request with Renogy. Days later they asked me to document everything in a support ticket. Over a dozen photos of wiring, multimeter readings, app screen shots, the works. They said they would get back to me. I hear nothing and call them a week later and they tell me "thanks for the info, we'll get started looking at it". By this time I was leaving on a trip and needed a charger so I purchased a Victron unit (which worked perfectly). During my trip they ask for me to send the unit back for testing. After they say received the unit they said that it will be 10 days of testing. Two weeks later they say that their testing department never completed the testing and that they would send me a new unit. Maybe the unit was faulty? Maybe incompatible with my battery? Who knows. I do know I will never buy a Renogy product ever again.
Renogy asked for my email but I have no way of responding short of editing this review. So Renogy support, the case number is CASE2025091700220.
