Great Solution for Dahon folding bike - installation can be improved

I did have to wait for this product a long time, as my wheel model was not available, but it was fully worth the wait! And during the wait, the customer service did respond very quickly with update on progress. A front motor is a great solution for my Dahon folding bike. For this bike, I choose the smallest battery with the max capacity, that is more than enough power for this bike. I fully have it fully installed motor, sensor and battery without limiting the foldability. Attaching it to my bike did require some trial and error. 100G needs to update their documentation, it was for example still for the old version of the sensor, and some instructions are a bit too short. Also, when attaching the wheel with bike up-side-down, the arrow on the wheel is confusing. They should consider changing that and make this clear for both up-side-down and up-right installation. In my case, the battery is mounted with one screw in the frame and the other one in a strap around the frame, to not limit folding. When making this work, I noticed that the bracket needs some room to bend at the end, otherwise you can't get the battery in. It's easy to screw the bracket to close to the end, it would be better if they prevent that. The support of the motor was set way too high with the default setting, even on level 1. Maybe these are setting for normal bikes. With a bit of searching, I found the instructions for super settings mode inside the App, which allowed me to change each level seperately. After changing, I'm very happy with the result, it's a great improvement for my Dahon!

Defective Product

This company is terrible. Customer service is non-existent and they don't respond. Moreover either the don't know what they are selling or don't care. I ordered the kit specifically advertised for Brompton. It came with the correct 16 inch wheel but with the motor the front wheel is way too wide to fit in the front fork. If I ordered the kit for a 16 inch bike and it didn't fit that would be one thing but they specifically advertised this as for a Brompton and it is impossible to put this wheel on a Brompton. A further update on 10/19/24- I cannot upload the photos I sent them showing this but the kit they sent me does not fit on my Brompton. Having sent me a kit which does not work they want me to pay to ship the kit, including the Lithium battery, back to them in China. I offered to deliver it to a local shipper of their choice and have them pay the shipper to get it back.

Great product

Great product, excellent packaging too. Definitely recommend and customization of the wheel is nice. Which they had better instructions on type of connectors to use for wiring in my own lights instead of buying a whole new set of lights from them.

The easy way to make your muscular bike cycle as a VAE.

I wanted the possibility to keep my muscular bike cycle, it is why I am using the electrical equipment on the rear wheel, from company 100g.tech . It is easy to install and uninstall, only one rear wheel and one battery. It is running very well, like I was hoping. It is giving me a good help when the angle on the road start to be difficult for only my old legs.

One month experience 100g

Product works very well. I purchased front wheel drive. Delivered in a week to Croatia. Assembly went without problems in one afternoon. So far, experience is good. Drove it in rainy days couple of times, worked very well.

Communication from 100G was excellent. Delivered to UK in advised time frame. Motor and battery works well. A bit of fiddly adjustments to fit my bike which was expected. Very happy with everything.

Good price performance but still some perks they should improve.

Price performance of the product is great. The kit works really well and does keep your bike almost unchanged other than the slightly bigger "water bottle". In other words, your electrified bike doesn't look like an e-bike which is a good thing against theft. In terms of performance, the assistance is effective but the way it engages is sometimes not as expected. Maximum couple (not documented) could be better for steep slopes.

Fantastic range in assist Level 1.

Easy to install and works exactly as advertised. Level 1 assist provides just enough push up the hills while letting you exercise the legs on the flats. Range of 110 miles achieved on mixed terrain.

So far so good! Ordered geeko front to Croatia. Very fast delivery, around 2-3 weeks. Easy assembly. So far used for everyday commuting and works very well! Ordered spare charger so I can charge at home and at work.
