I’ve tried several times to create a…

I’ve tried several times to create a login to get my mortgage info online. Each time I fail and give up. Today, I tried again and had to call customer service. I dont have my full mortgage # because my original paperwork was another bank and the 5/3 statements only show the last 4 digits. So the rep asked me some questions. I’m looking at my most recent mortgage statement and failed the answers. How does that even make sense? The rep tells me I can call back and try again. Wtf. I so hate this bank. Can’t wait to pay off my mortgage.

Worst experience

In 2025, I co-signed a car loan for my cousin through this bank. Unfortunately, we have still been unable to gain online access to our account. The bank appears to outsource customer service to a call center, and despite making at least 10 phone calls, the representatives have not been able to resolve the issue. Our most recent call lasted nearly two hours, yet we still did not receive access to the account. As a result, we have had to make our loan payments by phone every month. Based on my experience, I would recommend considering other banking options if you want to avoid ongoing frustration and poor customer support. I am sharing this feedback in the hope that the bank will address and correct these customer service issues and business practices.

Still charged for a canceled safe deposit box

Have been trying to resolve the banks error since April 2026 and not getting anywhere despite multiple emails phones calls and personal visits. Continue to get runaround for a refund from an erroneous charge for a safe deposit box closed months ago.

If I could give 0 stars I would!

If I could give 0 stars I would! I am very disappointed in 5/3 in a bank as a whole. I was charged 2 fraudulent charges, and I had to wait 7 days to get my money back. Very sad for a brick-and-mortar place. BUT I had that happen with my Chime bank account and they AUTOMATICALLY refunded my money until their investigation was done. Read that again, they AUTOMATICALLY refunded my money. Saddest part is I have been with 5/3 for YEARS and with Chime LESS than a year. This is NOT the 1st issue I have had with 5/3 and will be closing my account. EVERYTIME I go there it is ALWAYS at least a 30 minute task. I have more faith in a digital bank like Chime than you guys. SAD SAD SAD!! I WILL BE CLOSING MY ACCOUNT DUE TO ALL OF THIS!!

Worst bank to deal with

I've contacted this bank for the past 3 months to get the lien release that they are saying they sent the vehicle has been paid off and it's like they're holding the release hostage just dealing with them is a nightmare every month I call to get it I've moved to a different state and I can't register my vehicle because they are playing games worst bank ever

I would give zero starts if it were an…

I would give zero starts if it were an option. I took out some commercial loans with this company in 2021. They have been a NIGHTMARE from day one. Good luck calling support, all they do is transfer you back and forth from one heavily accented foreign worker to another, not one of which can actually assist you apparently. The bank had been LENDEVER/ PROVIDE/ FIFTH THIRD, not sure if merged or bought out, also had multiple different loan officers, probably due to people quitting this miserable company. This is one company that exists purely to make people suffer. RUN.

I have us been a fifth third customer for over 15 years. In an emergency they are useless

I have been a fifth third customer for over 15 years. Iam in Jamaica and have had numerous unauthorized withdrawals from my account. I have talked to several representatives which sound like AI. The only option they give me to dispute these deductions is to block my card which I cannot do while in Jamaica because I would not be able to use the card for purchases. When I get back in the states Iam immediately dropping fifth third customer in emergencies they are completely useless. I repeat USELESS,!!! Norman Frey
